I just learned today from an insider that the "Campus Cop" (with the shades and mustache) was the director, Jay Chandasjuvuhrlueer. I can't say it let alone spell it...give me a break.

I'm turning 29 this month...again. Next year I start counting backwards! By the way, my buddy is in contact with the owner of several movie cars (none of the General Lee though) and is in the process of cataloging and selling them. Just if anyone's interested... Mostly cop cars.

I finally got to see the movie tonight. I will say...it was awesome! It was worth the wait all this time. Yes, some of the scenes could have been omitted, but I have grown into a fuddy-dud somehow. Jessica did a surprising job. The only problem I had was I was analyzing the movie/action scenes. It's hard to follow the plot when everyone in the theater is pointing out scenes of LSU, Laurel Street and I-110...when it was s'posed to be Atlanta. Dangit, I guess I have to go see it again. Did anyone else have a problem with that white lady expressing her point of view of the flag? She was a little extreme with her non-verbal opinions. I'll continue this review after I see it for the 2nd or 3rd time. I just hope the bloopers I saw in February will be on the DVD. They smoked the ones at the end of the film.

Someone answer me this: Why were there only 2 pictures of Burt and several pictures of people who had absolutely nothing to do with this movie. You'da thunk Yahoo would have put more of the cast in their picture line-up. Even Ashlee Simpson got some time in there. But, in reality, I think Jessica got what she wanted. Extreme exposure. This will push her to the top of her career. Singer AND actor? I would say she's set. Everybody else involved really didn't need a boost in their career. I still plan on seeing the movie Saturday though. Me and the posse' have cleared our calanders that day and will plrobably raise the roof a little too much. Anyone have bail money I can borrow?

FX figured it would hit at 70. Thus all the traffic HAD to do 70 in order not to get crunched. I'm still amazed at everything that goes into movie-making. It ain't just point-and-jump anymore.

Jessica Simpson, rude? Oh noooooo. Not around here...no way. I'm sure she's nice to a few people she may know, but to us? She was a total....uhhhh..... I'll tell ya how much her co-workers like her. At the Wrap Party one Saturday night she was advised NOT to sing after Willie got done. They were afraid she'd get boo'd or even worse, ignored. I could care less if she came back here. Now, my wife on the other hand...CAT FIGHT!! They didn't jive. She may be polite in her own little world. I'll shut up now.
