All three of the boys stared at eachother "When the heck did this happen?" Bo asked giving them a look. "Well. . . .to be honest with you Bo" Daisy looked down at Cherry to avoid his eyes "It happend tonight when Enos said that he found Cherry in California and knew that she needed someone other than him to raise her."

"Oh Uncle Jesse." Daisy cried hiding her face in his shoulder. "I know baby." Jesse patted her shoulder. "Luke!" Bo cried and rushed to see what was the matter with his cousin. Daisy, out of despair followed him and Jesse tailed behind them

Jesse sighed as he came out "What's going on here you three?" he asked.

Enos walked Daisy into the house, and when he did the boys and Jesse stared "Um Daisy. . .wanna tell us what happend?" Luke asked suspiciously.

Enos smiled "Of course that's what I'm going to do." and so they drove out to the Duke farm and Enos walked Daisy to the house.

Enos nodded shaking his head "Daisy, Daisy what will I do with you?"

Daisy gave her a hard look "Now who says I can't be tired every once in a while?" she asked. Enos laid a hand on her shoulder and tried to calm her down "Now Daisy, they just love you and want to know that Everything's fine." he explained. "I'm sorry kids." Daisy sighed shaking her head as she took a bite. (speaking of peanutbutter or jelly. . .my brother's gf makes toast with peanutbutter and jelly on one slice)

"Why you so worried about this?" Bo asked as the boys passed to the barn as she hung the clothes out. "Well why shouldn't I?" she questioned. "'Cause we can take care of ourselves and it's not at California." Bo defended. "I don't know boys. . .I just like to know where you are and that I can help if you need it." Daisy replied. "Whatever." Bo sighed as Daisy tossed Luke a clean shirt as he'd just cleaned up from their day in the feild.

Bo sighed as he wasn't seeing how Luke would possilby get better. He shook his head and came back out to where the others were. "What's the matter Bo?" Daisy sighed, rubbing his back as he sat down beside her. "No change. . .I just. . .I just can't see how he's ever going to get better." Bo said trying to keep back his tears. "We just have to keep praying and hoping." Jesse answered. Enos gave Daisy a sad smile as he wished he could make her a little happier. As well as Cooter wanted his friends to be happier also.

The sun shone high over Mayberry NC, the early morning being bright as the locals began to go about their daily routines. However, one thing was different about this day. There was to be a race later that week meaning that there would be visitors to the county, including the Dukes from Hazzard Ga.

Okay I know this is another weird idea of mine, but another show I like as well as me and a certian known friend of mine have been comparing Enos with Barney lately.

"Oh Uncle Jesse what are we going to do?" Daisy asked. Jesse shook his head hugging her close to him "Well . . .all we can do is wait baby." he said Daisy sighed wishing he had a better answer. It wasn't long before Bo showed up with coffee for Jesse who gladly took it from him "Thank you boy." Jesse said taking a slow sip of the hot drink. Soon the three of them were sitting silently, then after Jesse was asleep as well as Daisy who laid against him, Bo looked up hearing Cooter come in along with Enos. "Hey guys." Bo whispered. "Hey Bo." Enos said sitting on one side of him "How's Daisy doing? I mean you kow how's she coping with Luke?"

Bo sighed and after a minute he left. Next, Daisy came in. She sat at his bedside and stroked his hair for what seemed an eternity, while, at the same time trying not to cry "Luke, you know we love ya. We need you. Me and Bo need our oldest cousin so please pull through for us." she nearly choked on the last word she whispered "please." she finally succumbed to crying slilently untill Jesse came in and she went back out to where Bo was.

Jesse and Daisy were finally allowed to go to the ER waiting room where they saw Bo. "Hey son." Jesse said sitting down. Bo looked to his Uncle "I'm so sorry Uncle Jesse. I should've told you about Luke's condition." Daisy patted his shoulder and gave him a sad smile as she herself didn't know what they could do about it now.

"Her seat in the squad car Daisy. . .you feeling all right?" Enos asked not seeing how she'd overlooked this obvious thought.

Enos gave her a worried smile and did just that and handed her breakfast to her. Daisy tried to eat it even if it was slow. "Daddy. . .what's wrong with mama?" Brenna asked.
