Enos sighed "Well. . .I reckon the fact that I ain't protecting Daisy as well as I should."

Lily tried to smile though she winced "It was my fault mama."

Enos shrugged "I reckon Luke. . .Daisy went to her room. . .guess I'm eating by myself."

Lilly looked up at her, she was wrapped in bandages all over and Daisy could tell she was out of it, but she slowly turned her head "Hey Mama."

Enos smiled "You do your best Daisy. . .I'm sure it wasn't because you did something." Daisy sighed as she doubted it, but went on anyway.

Enos stared for a second and then went to make dinner.

"Oh." Doc shook his head "Right. . .sorry I'm just. . .I don't know. . .yeah you can see her. . .she's a mess though."

Enos looked lovingly into her eyes "No Daisy I ain't. . .I'm just worried and this whole thing has got me stirred up."

Doc nodded "I reckon so. . .she ain't here is she?"

Enos shook his head "Well if you think so Daisy. . .why don't you go and get some rest and I'll get us some kind of supper."

Enos sighed "Come on I know that ain't true."

Doc smiled "Just keep your faith Daisy."

"What are you thinking Daisy?" Enos asked.

Doc nodded "Someday it'll all work out for you I'm thinking." Doc smiled.

Doc nodded "I know. . .I know. . .I'm the doctor and things like this still confuse me." (interesting siggy. . .I like it.)

Then they headed back to the farm, Enos quiet the whole time.

(me either, usually one of us does) "Doc. . .if she's going to die just say it." Daisy sobbed. "She's not Daisy." Doc replied "She's got a condition that makes her bleed like that. . .and there's some complicated sickness she has." Doc said.

Enos shrugged "Beats me, but I'd be more bothered if Daisy was hurt."

Doc sighed "Well. . ." he didn't want it to sound worse than it was. "Well?" Daisy sobbed.

Enos hugged her close "Daisy, this ain't your fault. . .I don't see how it could be." Just then Doc came in and Daisy looked up and said through sobbs "What's the matter with her doc?"

Bo and Luke got in the General and Enos crawled into the back. (man I remember Enos doing that once. . .goodness sakes. . .I mean why is it Enos can't get int the General like everyone else?)

Enos looked confused "Daisy. . .what happend to you?" Daisy sighed "Lily. . .I looked up one minute and she was bloody. . .me and Jenny brought her here."

LD still glared but didn't say anything.

Jenny looked confused as well as understanding "He needs to know Daisy. . .she's his daughter too."

(yeah I also like us calling eachother sis) LD still gave thim a glare however, through his bloody appearance.
