    Enos pulled her closer "And I love you till the end of time Daisy." Just then they looked to the door as Lily had showed up. Daisy looked up at Enos looking as if she was about to have a meltdown.

    Selena smiled "I guess it has to be hard being the only girl around here, but then that will change from now on."

    Daisy nodded "Exactly" (funny tidbit my grandma was talking to me tonight that she might give my brother's gf a cookbook for christmas from the church. . .she really is the cook out of her me and my brother.)

    Enos nodded "So yeah I guess I should take my own advice as I am and have been telling you. . .There's nothing to worry about."

    Bo smiled and squeezed her shoulder "Don't worry Daisy. Like you said they're family."

    Elly smiled "Good tip Daisy." The boys looked at eachother.

    (OH MY GOODNESS I love her too!!! she makes the best looking stuff) Daisy smiled "you ought to, she's southern just like us."

    Enos nodded "Daisy, the town is behind us. They love us and know that as a town we're family."

    Bo shrugged "What are you sorry for?"

    (yeah they do. . .bad boys) Elly looked their way "You two do not want to know what I do to people wo do that."

    Daisy smiled "Well Uncle Jesse I saw a recipe on there the other day that I think will have you singing." Daisy gave him a mischevious smile "Got any idea what show it was from?" (You got any cooking shows you particuarlly like?"

    Even Enos had to grin at that one "Okay, but don't tell Boss or my job might be in trouble."

    Daisy sighed "Oh. . .well on second thought I might have something. . .You know that cooking show I'm always telling you about?"

    Bo sighed "I guess me and Luke will start moving our stuff to the barn."

    Enos wrapped a loving arm arround her "Daisy. . .I. . .I. . .I really don't know what to say, but I want you to know that Cooter, Bo and Luke have all mad their own ideas to help me."

    Elly nodded "That too and I wouldn't want Jenny to grow up in anyother town, though some of your lawmen here are a little nuts." she shook her head chuckling "Not that Enos is one of them, he has a brain."

    The twins smiled at eachother. "Well you two want me to help you move in?" Daisy offered. Selena smiled "Sure and then we'd like to help you with supper."

    Daisy suddenly thought "Uncle Jesse I want us to cook something special. . .Do you have some rare recepies to teach me?"

    Luckily the kids didn't notice except for Lily, who had her own plans to talk to them. So later that night Enos and Daisy laid in bed, Daisy gloomy as ever and Enos as well wishing there was more he could do for her.

    "I know." Elly smiled "I'm so glad I have some family to stick up for me now."

    (oh. . .it's a brother show to Beverly Hillbillies and that statement about the boys reminded me of the farmhand who slept in the loft) Bo gave Daisy a look "What?" Luke chuckled "Of course we don't mind Daisy."

    Somehow Enos sensed this and gently touched her arm, a worried smile on his face saying they would talk when the kids were in bed.

    Daisy nodded "Uncle Jesse if there comes a time that . . .like I'm in danger or something please tell them. . .and in time I might on my own. . .it's just new to me right now."

    Elly laughed a little herself "I would never take your man Daisy."

    Jesse still had a questioning look in his eye, but smiled all the same "Daisy, if they're Dukes they're welcome. I'm not sure what we'll do exactly, but I don't reckon Bo and Luke would mind sleeping in the barn so they could have their room?" (You've seen Green Acres right?"
