    "Calm down, just get Jesse under control so I can call Cooter. . .I have a strange feeling that's where she went."

    Finally she went to sleep until she was woken by Helena at her door.

    Enos wrapped an arm around her and picked up the CB mic beside the bed just as some of the other kids came in, Jesse also started crying."

    (I guess the fact that we wouldn't mind her teaching us to cook I reckon) Jesse smiled "All right baby."

    Later that night Daisy laid awake in her bed thinking about the day.

    Enos smiled "Dais I ain't mad. . .I just need to learn to be a little stronger is all."

    Lily was really upset now "You don't have any faith in me do you?!" she screamed and rushed away. Daisy burried her head in Enos's shoulder when they heard the front door slam.

    After awhile Daisy came out and gently woke Jesse up. (Amen. Any ideas of what Granny would like about us?)

    Enos gave them a look "Okay. . .and I'm being talked about in front of my face." he shook his head.

    Jesse smiled "Oh just do. . .Same spirit. . .a lot of things like that."

    "I'm ten mama! I need to do this!" Lily insisted. "Lily I-- I can't . . .You're such a big help to your mama baby." Enos tried.

    Jesse smiled "All right. . .I'll just go on the porch and take me a nap." (Yeah and I don't think she'd get either of us to wear a dress neither.)

    Elly smiled "It'll be fine Daisy. . .and I'll be here with you. . .I guess mostly to help Enos if you know what I mean."

    Jesse smiled "Yeah kinda remind me of you somehow."

    Lily broke down crying "I don't care mama. . .I need to do this. . .I've had a bad life before and it doesn't bother me. . .I have to do this."

    (well you got time, but then Granny would be onto you too. . .lol we'd be in trouble and we act like boys if you know what I mean me you and Elly would have a party) Jesse smiled "Oh so I gess you want me to let you alone to get to it huh?"

    Elly patted her hand sensing this "Don't worry Daisy. . .he'll be fine and. . .well maybe it's just me, but I feel kinda at home in a hospital. It's hard to explain, but I've just been in them so much my whole life."

    The girls smiled and after the three of them got dinner so it just needed to be left alone they went to Bo and Luke's room to get settled.

    Lily sighed as she walked over to her daddy's side of the bed "I wish we could be normal. . .I wish my brothers and sisters didn't have to suffer so much . . .I wish you and mama didn't. . .I'm. . .I'm asking Uncle Cooter for a job." Enos and Daisy were stunned.

    (I know. . .I mean I realize I need to get learing myself since I'm almost eighteen. . .Granny would be after me.) "So what you got?" Jesse asked interested.

    Elly laughed too, but Jenny just stared.
