Lily and Enos sat down and started eating their breakfast. Daisy just sat silently and watched the other children play.

So they both headed back to the house to do just that.

"The other Lily Marie." Lily said.

Enos smiled "Hey Dais. . .me and Lily were just having a little father daughter talk." he said cheerily eventhough he knew she was hurt.

They walked back inot the house. Daisy sat at the table and looked down when they came in. The rest of the kids were playing in the den. Daisy still hadn't eaten and had just left Lily and Enos their breakfast.

Luke then thought about it himself "Good point Bo. . .I bet Daisy would." Luke nodded "Why don't we go ask her."

Luke nodded "I know I felt that way when I lost my parents and Jeb. . .got any idea of a present I could give her?"

Enos nodded "Now could you help me get up baby?" he asked.

Luke smiled "Wow kinda fancy. So what's Analise like?"

Enos hugged her tight, a brave smile on his face "I know Lily, but your mama was just. . .I don't really know how to put it, but just know one thing and that's that no matter what she's very proud of you."

Luke chuckled "I promise Bo and I can't wait to meet her little girl . . .what's her name?"

Enos smiled "That's my girl. . .of course you can do it. . .I don't know that I've said this before, but I'm saying it now. . .You can do ANYTHING Lily."

Enos nodded "I'm glad Lily 'cause you know with my leg the way it is your mama will need lots of help. You might have to start doing theraphy with Andrew by yourself so your mama can help me with mine."

Luke nodded "Bo, I know I truthfully ain't much bettern' you at this kind of stuff, but if there's a bit of advice I can give you is that if I bring a girl over to our house for supper. . .It always makes me less nervous."

Bo sighed to himself when Luke walked over having overheard what he'd just said "Well, Bo I'm sure Daisy would like to help you. . .I would too. Why don't you just invite her over to our house and she can bring her little girl too." he suggested.

Enos faked a confused look happy that Lily was understanding "So what ways would that be?" he asked.

"I make it worse?" Enos asked worried "What's going on in your mind now?"

Bo nodded hoping he hadn't hurt Luke's feelings. He just needed to think things through his mind as well as have a little prayer for just himself.

(wow that's be a sight to see) Enos hugged her "It's okay Lily. I never told anyone not even your mama untill recently and I figured this was something I needed to tell you."

Bo sighed "I'd really like to do it alone Luke. . .Not to put you off, but I just feel like that's what I need to do."

Enos laid a hand on her shoulder and looked to his daughter "Lily. . .I understand how you feel. . . Come on." he said and led Lily out back to the big tree in their yard where he liked to go when one of the kids wanted to talk secretly. "What dad?" Lily asked annoyed. Enos pulled a locket from his back pocket and opend it, a picture of the sister he'd lost so long ago stared back at them both "That was my sister Lily she had the exact same name as yours and. . .she died from a sickness. I understand how you feel wanting to protect the others Lily."

Bo nodded "Yes I am and if you'll excuse me I have some thinking to do."

"That's what I'm trying to tell you! I want to be different and I'm trying my hardest to be!" Bo said out of frustration.

(cool) Lily sighed "But I want to NOW mom."

Lily sighed "I. . ." she knew she was stuck with her brothers and sisters near "i just want to mama. . .you know I don't have any friiends and I want to learn to be a mechanic."
