"What ya smiling about Daisy?" Bo asked noticing this. -
Bo smiled and he and Daisy walked down to Dixie and soon were on their way to town.

Enos smiled "And just to hear you say that Daisy warms my day. . .so what's our plans for today?"

Bo nodded "Thanks Daisy" and then he thought "Hey can I go with you. . .I just I don't know. I reckon I need to get away from the farm for a little bit."

Enos nodded "I know you do, but I just have to tell you. . .I am entirely more scared of you leaving than whatever you feel for me."

Enos hugged her "Daisy. . .I reckon you already know this, but I'm scared for you right now."

Bo thought for a minute "Well, first I know Chicken is her favorite food and well Daisy. . .I reckon you ought to get her a stuffed rabbit. . .I know she loves rabbits. . .bout all I can think of right now."

Enos bit is bottom lip thinking that he had a good idea what was going on in Daisy's mind "I know something's going on in there." Enos whispered to her.

Bo, still looking a bit stunnded said "Whatever you think would be best Daisy. . .I mean whatever you make I know it'll be good."

Soon they had finished eating and Lily got up and went over to her other siblings to play with them.

Luke and Bo nodded "Well, thanks for at least helping us with dinner." Bo said. Daisy smiled "Just tell me what you want and I'll go to town and get what I need." Bo looked shocked that Daisy would so redily agree to help him like this.

Bo looked at Luke slightly nervously "Daisy, me and Luke were wondering if. . .if we invited Jamie and her daughter over here, could you help us with dinner? "And I was wondering. . .if you wer that pigtailed girl again. . .what kinda present would you want?" Luke added.

Lily and Enos sat down and started eating their breakfast. Daisy just sat silently and watched the other children play.

So they both headed back to the house to do just that.

"The other Lily Marie." Lily said.

Enos smiled "Hey Dais. . .me and Lily were just having a little father daughter talk." he said cheerily eventhough he knew she was hurt.

They walked back inot the house. Daisy sat at the table and looked down when they came in. The rest of the kids were playing in the den. Daisy still hadn't eaten and had just left Lily and Enos their breakfast.

Luke then thought about it himself "Good point Bo. . .I bet Daisy would." Luke nodded "Why don't we go ask her."

Luke nodded "I know I felt that way when I lost my parents and Jeb. . .got any idea of a present I could give her?"

Enos nodded "Now could you help me get up baby?" he asked.

Luke smiled "Wow kinda fancy. So what's Analise like?"

Enos hugged her tight, a brave smile on his face "I know Lily, but your mama was just. . .I don't really know how to put it, but just know one thing and that's that no matter what she's very proud of you."

Luke chuckled "I promise Bo and I can't wait to meet her little girl . . .what's her name?"

Enos smiled "That's my girl. . .of course you can do it. . .I don't know that I've said this before, but I'm saying it now. . .You can do ANYTHING Lily."

Hi Bo just to say I've been reading some of the stories and (yes the latest christmas one) that you and DaisyMae are doing. . .y'all are a good team in my opinion.
