Luke: Really Uncle Jesse what should we have told you?

Lily: I'll wait mama. . .I'll be here for you when you get back (Really going in a few. . .can berely stay awake)

Luke: Told you what? (gee now I'm wondering)

Lily: How long mama? What am I supposed to do?

Luke looks up at Uncle Jesse scared Luke: Uncle Jesse. . .didn't realize you were there.

Enos: Hang on *calls Lily over and hands her the mic* Lily: hi mama Daisy: Hey Lily. Lily: Why you not home mama? What's happening?

Then the boys walk in talking about the day and don't realize that Jesse is listening.

Enos: Okay. . .what do you want me to do with Lily. . .she's been sitting here ever since you left.

Jesse works on dinner in silence and secretly happens to overhear what the boys are saying about the day.

Elly: *With tears streaming down her face nods* Daisy: okay. . .just let me get Enos on the CB and let him know. Elly: *nods*

Jesse: I know it won't erase what people have said about you or what they've done, but . . .I don't know *goes out the door so Daisy can get some rest.*

Elly: How can you be sure. . .besides she will hurt Matt. . .I know that. . .I'm so worried for this new one.

Jesse: You want to take a nap before dinner? You look so worn out. . .so sad when you're only thirteen. . .

Elly: I don't know what you can do. . .unless you can get rid of Nancy. . .and I couldn't ask Cooter to send her away no matter how mean she is.

Jesse: Anything you need right now baby?

Daisy: What do you think we ought to do for Elly here? I want to stay and help her, but on the other hand I have Enos and the kids at home. . .and I bet two of them are awake waiting for me to get back.

Jesse: Daisy. . .I know you have a lot on your mind and. . .all I've done today is pray about it. . .I know it's your choice if you keep it or not, but I don't know how you're going to get through the next months ahead, but I'll try my best to do what I can for you.

Cooter: *nods* I don't know what her mama taught her, but If I'd have raised her . . .*shakes his head*

Jesse: *nods* I know. . .I'm sorry I can't be more of a help to you. . .I never was a daddy myself until you three were brought to us.

Cooter: So what did you see? What was she going to do? What did she do?

Jesse: *nods and strokes her hair* I know baby. . .I know. . .well. . .Lulu went and . . .I guess got you some clothes today.

Elly: *looks at Daisy and breaks down* Cooter and the boys can only stare.

Jesse: *Sits on the bed near her* Hey baby. . .Luke said you passed out at school. . .what all happend? Luke said they said a lot to ya, but he couldn't repeat any of them.

Cooter: Hang on honey . . .calm down. . .ain't good for you to get mad. Elly: *glares at him* Cooter! Do you want your only son killed. . .and by your own daughter?

Jesse: Oh my! I'm going to go check on her *kocks on her door and goes in*
