Daisy: Because Lily. . .we don't want you to be upset and . . .I was really upset about it myself.

Enos: *sighs not really wanting to either, but felt he had to* Well Lily, your cousin. . .only has one foot and is probably going to have a lot more wrong with her when she gets older (brb going to get me some lunch)

Just then there is a knock at the door and Jesse goes to answer it.

Elly: *gives him a hug* Enos. . .we understand and respect what you and Daisy have. . .we just weren't going to feel better untill we told you that.

Enos: *gives Daisy a sympathetic look* We should just do it Daisy. . .she'll have to find out eventually Lily: Find what out?

Elly: We really do Enos. . .the honest truth.

Daisy: *Sighs*

Elly: Okay so maybe Carrie will kill me, but well. . .the truth is Enos. . .neither one of us can think of another guy but you. . .you're the only one we see fit for Daisy. . .or any girl.

Lily: I know you are. . .why else would you yell at me like that?

Elly: *shruggs* Enos: Something wrong you two. . .ya look sad.

Daisy: Please Uncle Jesse. . .we need ideas. . .Cooter is kind of in the same place I am only different.

Lily: You're lying to me mama. . .I know you are.

Enos: We have to do something to cheer him up, but what? Uncle Jesse?

Lily: Mama what's wrong with Mary?

Jesse: *smiles* He'll like that honey, but I meant something more than just his birthday. . .I heard the other day when I was in town that he wants to die. .just up and die.

Elly: *nods* Hey Enos. . .what you doing here?

When they get there Enos comes up in his squad car.

Jesse: I meant you and Enos, but well. . .all I can say right now is that his birthday is coming soon.
