Daisy: Carrie! *looks at Enos sadly* Just be careful. . .I'll see you when you get back Enos: I'm sorry about it Daisy . . .came up kinda sudden. . .I'll bring ya somethin back. . .all three ya.

Enos: *nods and blushes* I reckon we'll have to wait four years tho. . .you're only fourteen . . .and I will be next month.

Elly: That's what Granny tells me, but I just can't help it. . .I lost my ma. . .Granny ain't young as she used to be and . . .I don't know *tries to unsucessfully blink back tears* Just then Bo and Jed come in with Cooter between them and he's passed out

Enos: I really do Daisy *kisses her then blushes* I really do. . .I really care about Macy too. . .I asked my Granny to do some of those things for you. *blushes*

Enos: I won't Carrie, but I have to go to Atlanta for a little while. . .I'm sorry Daisy, but I won't be able to be with ya Friday.

Elly: I can tell he's a strong man. . .he ain't no sissy, but I'm really scared Daisy. . .Cooter's really upset about Mary.

Elly: *gently pulls her cousin away from Enos* Carrie. . .let him. . .I . . .I started this whole thing and . . .if anyone should go then it should be me. . .I hurt you, embarassed Enos. . .I don't know about Daisy, but I'm sure I did.

Daisy: Oh yeah and I forgot Enos. . .maybe someday. . .well you know what I mean. . .I really do like Enos. Enos: I like you a lot Daisy. . .more than any girl I ever met.

Elly: I'm worried he's gonna leave me. . .like kill himself.

Enos: *hugs Carrie* Look Carrie. . .I do love Daisy. . .I love you and Elly also. . .I hope Daisy won't be too upset right now, but I think I'm going to go alone for a little while. . .sides I'm supposed to go off to the big city for a while for some police thing. . .please understand. . .and you will get a man. . .you and Elly.

Daisy: *laughs as Macy won't let Cooter's finger go* The only thing I . . .on second thought I don't. She won't have a father, but she doesn't need it. She's got me and her Uncles and her grandaddy. . .and you too Cooter.

Enos: I know. . .strangely I'm more worried about Cooter the most right now. . .feel so bad for him. (leaving now, but I'll be back tonight)

Enos: I understand Daisy . . .and Elly and Carrie. . .I love all three of you equally so. . .I'm going to lay off. . .I don't want to hurt any of you.

Daisy: So I've been told a million times. . .Well, I guess long as I try to raise her right maybe she won't be so bad.

Enos: *shruggs* I told Cooter to get Elly a CB up here so that she can call any of us if anything happens. . .Really I think she would try Daisy and I don't want to think about it, but just keep the CB on so that we can call eachother. . .I love all of you too much to loose any of it.

Elly: It's my fault. . .Daisy. . .please don't kill me. . .okay. . .me and Carrie love Enos. . .and Carrie is really emotional about it. . .I sorta told Cooter how we felt and then sorta hugged him so that he wouldn't feel so bad and then Carrie just. . .I'm sorry Daisy.

Soon Jesse is done and Daisy brings Macy in to be held by a heavily bandaged Cooter.

Enos: Bo and Luke and me and Roscoe are trying our best. . .we decided to leave it alone unless they seem to be doing anything. . .for your two's sake.

Just then Daisy using crutches hobbles over Daisy: What's going on here? Y'all seem upset.

Daisy and Enos watch as Jesse cleans up and doctors a wimpering Cooter.

Elly: What are you and the others doing about it. . .I can't let her kill my babies.

Elly: I do! Bo and Luke: So do we! Enos: Dang it. . .I cause a lot of trouble Jesse: You are not going anywhere Carrie.

Then Uncle Jese comes over with a bowl and water for Cooter to clean up with. Jesse: Daisy, go and get the medical stuff this is going to be some work.
