"Hey Enos." Lizzy says calling the Strate house.

At home Lizzy gets a call from Cooter. "Hey I'm gonna be a little late tonight if you want to make up some dinner I'd be happy." Cooter says. "What happened?" Lizzy asks. "Someone crashed a car into the pond. I have to go fish it out. The don't think anyone was hurt but you can't tell." Cooter says. "Thanks for the warning." Lizzy says.

"Maybe I'm not completely ok with it but...I know we need the cash more." Kayle says.

"Really Chad I'm fine with you riding." Kayle says.

"There are risks but they're risks I'm willing to take. We need the money Chad especially if we don't get that car back." Kayle says.

"Something about how Aunt Lizzy may be scared of him dying...I don't know." Kayle says.

"Mom said he may be giving it up." Kayle says.

"Good. You know to be honest I don't really like you riding those bikes but I can put up with it." Kayle says.

"I think in the future we need to be more honest with each other." Kayle says.

"What are we going to do about Katy?" Kayle asks.

"Because of your grandmother. God I feel like an idiot." Kayle says hanging her head.

"Is that where you've been all this time?" Kayle asks.

"Who's Katy?" Kayle asks.

"Chad...I didn't even know your grandma was sick and what do you mean we don't have a car?" Kayle asks.

"Chad." Kayle glances up at him. The look on his face broke her heart and made her completely forget about being mad at him. "What's wrong sweetie?" Kayle asks.

"Go on." Lizzy nudged Chad.

Slowly but surely they made it back to the house and went inside. "Enos is Kayle still in her room?" Lizzy calls.

One very long and nervous hour later his clothes are dry and Lizzy gets them for him. "If you ever need to talk you have my number." Lizzy says. "Do you want me to drive you over there? Seeing as how it's still raining."

"Can I get you something to eat? Something to drink?" Lizzy asks.

"I know but my dryer only drys so fast." Lizzy says.

"No he's texting." Lizzy says.

"Thanks Enos." Lizzy says hanging up.

"Hey Enos can you guarantee me that Kayle will stick around for another hour at your place?" Lizzy asks when she gets through.

"Let me call over there and see what's going on. One hour is all I'm asking for." Lizzy says.
