  1. The japs forced Bo to sit on an old wooden chair, where they tied his hands to the arm rests and tied his legs to the chair legs. They then started to ask Bo questions, but because they didn't speak good english, Bo had no idea what they were saying, which earned him a few new injuries.
  2. Around that same time and in just about the same conditions, Bo was also being taken away for questioning. The Japs forced him to walk, even though it was now nearly impossible for Bo to walk. His ribs weren't the problem this time around, it was his leg that was the problem. He was taken right past Luke without even realizing it.
  3. Life in the prison was he** for everyone. Bo's old injuries hadn't healed right, leaving him unable to walk. He wasn't paralyzed, he just didn't have a way to get around. He'd tried to hop, but it only caused his sides to ache. About the only thing that had healed right, were the cuts and bruises and Bo's broken hand.
  4. Little did they all know, none of them would be getting rescued for quite awhile. In fact, it would be over two years before Luke and his men were rescued and another year after that before Bo was found, him having been put into a different part of the prision with the other wounded soilders.
  5. Bo was placed in a cell by himself, though he did have a few rats for company. His entire body was hurting from the crash, his ribs, leg and hand hurting the worst. He groaned painfully as he tried to make himself comfortable. Little did he know though, that his life was about to get a lot worse.
  6. Once Bo was taken care of in the field hospital, he was left alone to rest. Little did the nurses and doctors know though, that there were several Japs there, waiting to take some of the wounded soilders. Once the coast was clear, several men came in, two men taking one person. In all, five men were taken, Bo included.
  7. Amazingly, Bo had survived the crash. And even more amazingly, he was still conscious, though he wasn't lucky enough to get out without injury. His right leg had been broken and sveral of his ribs were busted. He had a few nasty cuts, a couple of which would require stitches; and a concussion. He'd also managed to fracture a couple of bones in his left hand. Looking around, Bo knew he had to get out and away from the plane, just incase it exploded. Gritting his teeth, he attempted to get out, not noticing the soilders rushing over to help.
  8. Having recieved word that the ground troops were going to be moving into the area, Bo and the other pilots were told to wait until they were gone before bombing the place. However, none of the pilots counted on enemy planes showing up. The enemy had ambushed them, firing at them before Bo and the others had a chance to react. Several shots hit Bo's plane, blowing the left wing off. When the plane started to spin out of control, Bo tried to eject, only to find the button wasn't working. Trying not to painc, he did everything he could regain enough control of the plane, hoping to make it to the edge of the jungle, where he hoped the trees would help soften the crash, even just a little. In just a matter of seconds, all that was visible of the plane, was a cloud of black smoke from the burning engine.
  9. Once Bo's basic training was finally done, he'd been taught to fly one of the latest fighter jets, and put into a unit; Bo was shipped out to Nam. Bo, along with four other pilots, were sent on a mission to find and bomb a hide out where numerous weapons were thought to be hidden. Little did Bo know, the mission would be anything but easy. Not that he thought it was be easy to begin with anyway.
  10. When a couple of drill sergents came over to the new arrivals, they made the group line up. After making the young men introduce themselves to everyone, the two drill sergents split the group up, each taking half of the new arrivals. Bo was among the group who had ended up with the toughest and meanest drill sergent. He sighed, knowing the next eight weeks would be the longest eight weeks of his life.
  11. Arriving at the training base a couple of hours later, Bo sighed, knowing he was going to be more miserable then before. Seeing some other men, who Bo assumed were new arrivals as well, he walked over to the group, not really sure what else to do.
  12. Putting the letter with the rest of the letters they'd gotten from Luke, Bo hid the box they were in under his bed. Deciding to go to the Boars Nest one more time before he left, he grabbed the keys to Jesse's truck and headed out. A couple of days later, Bo, Jesse and Daisy were all standing at the bus station, saying their goodbyes before Bo left. Just as Bo finished hugging Daisy, the bus arrived. Giving them both one last hug, Bo grabbed his bag then turned and got on the bus. He sat near a window and looked out at his uncle and cousin, waving once the bus pulled away.
  13. Bo was glad Luke was fine. Despite being shipped out in a couple of days, Luke's letter helped him feel better.
  14. The next day, Bo woke up later then usual. After changing jeans and putting on a clean shirt and his boots, Bo headed out to start on his chores. Getting outside, he was surprised to find everything was done. Shrugging a little, he went back inside.
  15. Looking at the clock on the stand between his and Luke's bed, Bo saw it was almost 9 pm. He'd already skipped dinner, his appitite being lost after he got the letter. Taking off his boots and shirt, he settled for sleeping in his jeans. He wouldn't be leaving for a couple of days, but Bo was dreading the day he did leave. Because of that, he had some trouble falling asleep. Eventually though, Bo lost the fight with sleep.
  16. Bo knew he was in for a lot of hard work. He'd been drafted into the Air Force, which was one thing he didn't know anything about. He did know however, that he'd be flying a plane, and only hoped it wouldn't be to hard to learn.
  17. In Hazzard.... Bo sighed as he started to pack his stuff up. He wasn't packing up everything, just a few change of clothes, some socks and a couple of pictures. Once everything was packed up in the duffel bag, Bo sat on his bed, sighing miserably.
  18. This is RR is for me and Dukesrule2000 only. It was a bright sunny day in the small town of Hazzard, Georgia. Bo Duke and his uncle, Jesse Duke, were outside hard at work on planting crops in the fields. Hearing the familiar sound of a motorcycle coming up the drive, Bo looked up, seeing the little old mail lady, Miss Emma Tisdale, speeding down the drive. Putting the bag of seeds down, Bo jogged over to the mailbox to fetch the mail. He was looking forward to seeing if a letter from his older cousin, Luke, was there. Luke was overseas in Nam, having been drafted the year before. After taking the mail out and looking through it, Bo stopped when he saw a letter addressed to him. Seeing it was from the government, he frowned. Opening the envelope and read the letter inside. His eyes grew wide as he read, his good mood suddenly turning bad. Wondering what was taking Bo so long, Jesse went to find him. Spotting him by the mailbox, Jesse walked over. "Bo, is everything alright?" Jesse asked. Bo remained silent for a moment, then turned to face his uncle. Seing the scared look on his nephew's face, Jesse knew something was wrong and that it must have something to do with the letter Bo was holding. "Uncle Jesse...I..." Bo trailed off, unable to think of how to tell his uncle. Biting his lip, he handed Jesse the letter instead. Taking it, Jesse read it, frowning by the time he was done. Looking at his youngest charge, Jesse sighed sadly. "It'll be alright Bo..." He wanted to believe that as much as he wanted Bo to believe it, but at the moment, Jesse was sure he had lost both of his nephews, even though Bo hadn't left yet, and Luke was still alive, as far as he knew anyway.
  19. Seeing she was embarrassed, Nick chuckled and shook his head.
  20. "That I did." Nick nodded. He then looked to Cooter and Lori and smiled at them.
  21. Nick smiled and nodded. "He's grown up to be a fine young man. Even though he's not my real son, I'm still proud to call him my son. Your other nephew seems like a fine young man as well. Bo told us that Luke saved his life."
  22. "Nick Stevenson. And this is my wife, Karen." Nick said, shaking Jesse's hand.
