James Duke

"Oh. That makes sense to me." James said, feeling stupid at the moment.

James thought about his human form and changed back as well. "Why in a week?"

James thought about it, looking at his uncle and Emy. Something in the back of his mind kept telling him to go and finally he listened to it. He made a half hissing, half roaring sound in response.

James landed next to his brother and sat Emy down. He then looked at Bo before looking at Ming, not really knowing.

"I understand. But please know that them going will depend on what they want to do. I can't force them into doing something they don't want to do." Jesse said.

"I dunno. We may have to figure it out ourselves." James replied.

Standing up, James walked over to Emy and carefully picked her up in his mouth, then looked at Bo. Making a whistling like noise, he flapped his large wings and took off flying back to the farm.

The Dukes all shook their heads, watching the two. Even in a situation like this, one could always count on the two of them to lighten the mood.

James looked at himself, then to Bo before looking at Emy. He made a soft growling noise as he sat down.

James closed his eyes and started to change as well. He turned into a black dragon, with large bat-like wings.

James put a hand to his head as it started to hurt. A short time later, images of the past started to run through his mind.

James had settled down under a tree, watching Emy for a bit. Getting the same feeling as Bo, he sat up and looked around.

James chuckled and grinned. "Hey, you wanted to race me."

Snickering at Bo, James took off after Emy, letting her stay in the lead most of the way before picking up speed and winning when they arrived at the lake.

"Shut it Beauregard!" James snapped as he left.

James smiled and got himself a pair of swimming trunks out of his dresser and went outside to wait for Emy.

James shook his head. His brother could be so idiotic at times. He sighed a bit then looked at Emy again. "I'll still go with you though."

James rolled his eyes at his brother's excuses. "Your full of excuses, you know that?" He then looked to Emy and smiled. "Sure."

James looked up from the magazine he was reading and sighed a little. "You are so dang lazy Bo." He said, heading for the door. Opening it, he looked at Emy. "Hey Emy."

Jesse chuckled a little and nodded. "You got that right Daisy-girl."

Jesse looked towards the door and shook his head a bit. "Cooter and Lori's here."

Bo hung up the phone and sat back, his eyes closing. He decided to get some sleep before his parents got there, knowing he wouldn't get any for a good while.

"Tri-County Emergency." Bo replied.

"I just got some busted up ribs, but I'll be ok. Some guys robbed a bank and kidnapped me cause I saw them. I guess I'm in Georgia right now." Bo replied, having had to move the phone from his ear when she shrieked.

"I'm ok...I'm in the hospital though." Bo replied.
