I will be the first to admit that Ive broken dozens of rules over the years and been banned more times then the Outlaw Lord himself. (We'll have to tally that up and figure that one out for the hell of it sometime Brian, but my bets are I got ya beat.) Anyway, even right now, I agree with BL that were breaking the RR rule with "Wanted: Dead or Alive". BUT, we became very wary of allowing anyone else into the story because the vast major of writers that are now on the RR board cant keep in the form of writing that USED to be the nature of a RR.
So yeah were in the wrong, but can you blame us? I have to say that if half the people who used to participate in the old RR's were to return, they would be utterly appauled with the current existance of the RR boards. I only wish enough of them were still around and would speak up, I cant possibly be the only 'older' memeber that misses the days of "Buckshot" and so many other old style RR's.
MaryAnne, MeadowMufn, if you wish, I... dont mind if Wanted Dead or Alive is moved, but if it aint hurting nothing I'd sure like to have it left there.
Im so glad that this is finally been put in the open, maybe, just maybe if the RR is cleaned up and changed alil more authors who used to enjoy it will find there way back. Im really at an end as to what to suggest for new rules, I just dont know. I think just tightening up on designated boards for different kinds of stories would make a big difference.

Say NO to one liners!
You heard it, were saying no to one liner posts on the Round Robin forum. Are you tired of scouting all over this site looking for a half decent story to read? Are you tired of scrolling down and down and going through page after page of one sentence posts on the Round Robin forum?
Well... I AM!!!
So step right up here if you want it to come to end, to stop this non-sense! Enough is enough! Its time this was a respectable board again with some decent writing and reading material. The wonderful administrators of this site have gone through so much to make plenty of different boards for all different kinds of writing. One liners are for the Role Playing board, not the Round Robin.
So please, if you want our Round Robin board back after so long of having it go to waist by one liners, please, sign below, speak ya peace. Enough is enough, lets up our standards and quality.

But I reckon after all these years it was time I paid something back to Hazzard. I admittedly broke the rules of the RR board, I knew what they are and have known for years but.... well you know the rest MaryAnne.
I know some good has come outta all this, even though it started out, like you so nicely put it MaryAnne, destructive, but turned out very nicely productive. I hope to see more improvements in the furture and I will continue to offer any help I can to these greenhorns that are willing to learn it right.
My only regret is it took me so many years to learn it myself.

(I would put up with joint effort posts, Amanda's idea was great! Its not hard to do a joint effort post. Role Play on Aol, YIm or even MSN, edit it into readable and acceptable writing form then post it. Also as I told you in your PM, I'd like to see at the very least 6 replies from each of you per joint post. That would make a hell of a decent couple of paragraphs or one good size one. Like the others said, try it you might be surprised.
Thank you to all my friends who backed me up, believe it or not we have made a great difference in a wonderful place.... *mumbles* and so far I didnt get myself banned for it. Now we just need to make it a point that all the other one liner writers on here see this.

(NO! Everytime I start a story here or get something going someone with a one liner steps in with something that makes no sense at all! I makin a stand! Alot of awesome people have left Hazzardnet because they couldnt stand anymore of this non-sense! Im not trying to scare ya'll away, but its not hard to write it where it belongs! And it aint askin too much!)

(That aint the point! They can continue there story, if thats what you call it. But take it to the correct writing board! This was a respectable place once, where you respected the other people that participate here. Now anyone whos not in first grade cant participate because its not even fiction, its a scramble of words! Its not that difficult to put alittle effort and imagination to work!. )

Theres a big difference! Why is it so hard or you, ALL OF YOU, to take these types of stories to the roll play board? Its not rocket science and were not askin for world piece. )

(*Looks around.* I thought this was a story/writing board? You see in short story books we write in paragraphes and follow a writing form. The roll playing board is over yonder, aint the admins nice to have built a board for such writing?
"Watermelon Crawl" Hmmm... let me see I count four....attempts at writing on one page of this board alone that come from song titles. One infact is mine, I admit, but mine is in proper writing form. No ones perfect, but titles of songs have been done, and done again and again. Atleast make an attempt at creativity, thats what writing is about. I bet your grade school teacher would give you one big fat F!
A second grader could do better.)

Hey Ya'll,
I rode in that all girls rodeo on July 4th in PA. It was great, I had a blast!
I drew a really awesome bull named Mendez, he weighed about 1400 pounds and was my first brindle! Ive always want to ride a brindle and he was the biggest bull at the rodeo, also rumored to have been the most rotten and rankest in the lot.
I rode him for 5.5 seconds which was great compared to some of the other rides. But my dismount was not so good, I got stepped on by his rear hooves and ended up in the Emergency Room for 3 hours. Got some deep serious bruising but give me a month and I'll be climbing back on. Yeehaw!

It aint a typo... I bull ride... and I love it. Yeah, I know Im crazy, but face it were all alil insane. After all ya could get hit by a car crossing the road to get ya mail or slip and fall in the shower and hit ya head.
Im gonna be 23 in August and I been riding since 2005, yeah I been hurt, but not enough to un-addict myself from that rush. Its like gettin a high with out drugs or anything else, its unexplainable what that feeling really is. All I can say is its awesome.
Hope ya'll enjoy my pictures, first picture is from June 2008, that bulls name is Diesel and he weighed in at about 1900 pounds. The second bull is Chubbers, hes just a youngun barely 3 years old and only ever had a rider on his back once before I got to ride him this past May 2009. Both rides were 7 second rides (gotta ride 8 seconds to make the whistle.)
I'll be riding in my first REAL rodeo this weekend, an all girls rodeo... oh yeah... fergot to mention... Im a girl, female, gal... women.
Nice hobby eh?

Seventy-seven years ago on this day of February 26th in Kingsland Arkansas a legendary singer, song writer, known as the man in black, one of the Highwaymen was born into a world so much different from the one we live in today.
Born Johnny R. Cash in 1932, his imprint on the world made by a deep and very distinctive voice that people from generations later (such as myself) could pick out of millions of others. His songs still to this day have been tested by time and still stand as some of the greatest songs and hits ever written in not only Country Music, but rock, pop, and so many others.
He was not a perfect man, but a incredible reflection on the magnitude of what the world is today. I'd like to celebrate and remember Johnny Cash's birthday today, because he was the awesome one and only Man In Black, no one can ever bring back that deep voice and one of a kind characteristics that he brought to this world every time he touched pen to paper, stepped on a stage or sat down with a guitar.
Happy Birthday Johnny Cash, may your days of being a Ghost Ryder In the Sky, forever being a Highwayman... again and again... or maybe a simple drop of rain... but you will always remain and come back again... and again.

Let me see a show of hands of the people who are ENJOYING, the new Knight Rider. Im always open mind to new series like this because so many people seem to be wary of new deals like this. Thats why I cant believe how much I really enjoy and look forward to seeing the new episodes every Wednesday. Anyone else feeling the same way about the series? The story lines aint half bad, Ive seen alot worse, and Kitt... heh he aint a half bad mustang either.

Im sorry, I wasnt trying to complain and I have made a effort to be a better part of this community. I do loose my cool at times, but we all do. But i will stay off the RR and stay away from people as it seems to work best for everyone.

Yeah... like Dixie said. If Wanted Dead or Alive cant be an exception, then all these RP stories need to be moved to. Ive begged, Ive done everything I can to help DaisyXEnos to not continue doing this and if so continue it where it belongs.
I dont mind that Wanted Dead or Alive got moved, its where it belongs now, but RPs in the RR board just aint where they belong either.
Also it would take me an entire day of effort to make a vote over all the posts that dont make sense or go along with the stories around here anymore. People just are not working to gether like they once did, ya'll need to converse alittle outside of the story, and say "hey how about I do this, what are you gonna do next?" Work together! Its not rocket science.
