  1. Ahhh you're fine. I hope you had a good Holloween! I assume since you said you're still on a surgar rush that you got a lot of candy. Lucky you. LOL

  2. Ahhhh yuck! Good luck with that!

  3. All year? Wow...I'd be in heaven if NASCAR went year round! And though driving in circles or fast does sound fun, I'd rather not pay the speeding ticket that would probably come with it. I highly doubt the officer that would pull me over would understand that one very much. ;)

  5. Almost a hundred in our RP...awesome. Been a great a hundred posts. :)

  6. Almost felt bad for Kurt Busch...I say almost, because I am not a fan of his, but when they interviewed him after the race, you could tell he was highly disappointed with third place finish after how strong he was throughout the whole race. Almost look like he was ready to break out in tears over it, but maybe that was just me who thought that. I don't know. Kept thinking he should be happy with third, it could be worse, but I know if that was Gordon (like in Las Vegas) I'd be disappointed with third over the win. That would be disappointing.

Carl and Brad seemed to race each other nicely...then again for the most part, for Bristol, they were pretty nice to everyone. Didn't see much of drivers getting into each other on purpose or getting upset. I thought it was a calm race compared to past Bristol races where emotions seem to flare up.

  7. Almost forgot? :0 LOL. I didn't think much of it until you said something about rping and Lori finding Garrett. LOL

There's nothing wrong with chosing a retired guy of racing as your favorites...other than you wouldn't be able to watch him race every weekend. Especially someone as talented and good as he was. Do you watch any of the latest racing or just the older stuff? LOL. I fear the day Gordon retires...I'll be so lost without having him to watch. I'd go to my second man in command (LOL) Jimmie Johnson, but it still wouldn't be the same to me. For an older driver, I think I would chose Richard Petty as my favorite or perhaps Darrell Waltrip because I like him now as an announcer. Cale is pretty awesome too though...especially since he was on the Dukes. :D

  8. Also got to cut and take home a picture of Jeff Gordon and his daughter Ella from another magazine there that another person at work found. I am a HUGE Jeff Gordon fan...so I was excited about that. You follow any racing? If so, who do you watch? LOL. I never was into racing until the Dukes with The General and all their racing, now I am obsessed with it. Who would have known. LOL. I would have thought you were crazy eleven or so years ago if anyone said I would even sorta like it. Now I look forward to the races each Sunday. ;)

Well I will definately shut up now. I can go on and on and on about NASCAR / Gordon or the Cubs or Dukes. The only things I really know something about. Sad, ain't it?

  9. Am glad to hear you had a good birthday! The fair sounds fun and the funnel cake sounds very good. Haven't had one of those in a looonnnnggg time. LOL :)

  10. Am soooooo glad you didn't finish Lori off. Garrett and I would be heartbroken to see that happen. He's lonely enough that she moved out of Hazzard. He's probably jealous of her too. He despises Hazzard, though I don't see why. I'd love to move to Hazzard. Just another example how Garrett and I don't see eye to eye on things. HA HA.

  11. And Gordon...Dang, he started out so good, like last week, and then at the end he was having dang engine problems. DW and Jeff H didn't seem too sad about that either. Were surprised to see him still on the track. I should be excited, I mean Johnson won the race. But somehow am frustrated with it. I am excited about Johnson winning, frustrated about the rest of it, that sounds better I guess. Jr had a lousy race too, was really hoping he'd back it up with a strong finish. Though his whole attitude seemed to change since last week - it's back to how it was last year (at least before the race it seemed to be - or am I the only one to think that?)

  12. And Martinsville...that is too bad that you got the wrong channel! That is so frustrating. SPEED channel shows the past race on Thursday's earl afternoons if you know someone who could record it for you? Good thing you got clips of it though.

  13. And oh yeah - it is great that there are drivers with great attitudes as Edwards and Ambrose. Gordon and Johnson has great attitudes as well. I would much rather see that than some of the other attitudes that other drivers have. I felt bad for Ambrose, but am happy to see him doing so well and being competitive and all.

  14. And yeah I don't know what I'd do if I heard them dissing Gordon and all that. Read an article on Gordon a week or so ago and people were commenting on how much of a potty mouth he has on the radio with his crew - guess they listen to him on that scanner you can subscribe. Which was bad enough to hear...I am choosing to ignore it until I hear elsewise from someone I can trust. Have you listened in on Gordon with his crew? He doesn't seem to be the kind to be cussing his crew out for doing things wrong or what not, he is so positive about them when talkign to the media. I don't know. I always get disappointed when I hear bad stuff like that about people that I really like. Odd I know. Like my mom said maybe they just heard him at a bad moment when he was really upset or something. I don't know but it still bugs me.

  15. Another great post, Lori! Add onto that, you didn't even have the time I did to think about it! LOL.

We could chat for a few minutes, but I doubt I would be on long if you wanted to chat. Just warning. LOL.

  16. Anyway, glad he didn't get parked for another race or suspended or what not as I was fearing he would be. Guess Keselowski was wanting NASCAR to park him at Bristol too for it. I don't blame Keselowski for being upset...he had a top five car they said, but I think they should look at the intent of the retaliation andn ot what happened. I am sure Carl didn't intend to flip him like that...

Anyway, I'll shut up now that I've given you a huge novel to read here. I hope that you are having a good week! (Just think, the next Sprint Cup race will be your Bristol race! :) Lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!)

  17. Anyway, Kennseth in the article at NASCAR.com took part blame for it so that surprised me, though he wasn't very happy at Gordon either. Gordon wasn't happy about it either. Gordon's post race comment was funny...he said he wasn't sure what that was about (or something like that), but he made sure that he (Kennseth) wasn't going to be the one that won the race. HA HA. Perhaps I shouldn't find it too funny, but I don't understand what Kennseth has against Gordon. I guess they were both going for the win, but what does Kennseth expect Gordon to do when he's pushing and running into Gordon on purpose? Just sit back and let Kennseht pass him? I don't think anyone would.

It hurt Kennseth a lot more than it did Gordon position wise and point wise. So I shouldn't be upset at it perhaps. But still...

  18. Anyway, turned it back on just in time to see Carl's retaliation on BK. I taped the race knowing I'd miss the ending, so I'm gonna have to go back and see it again as to hear their itnerviews and to hear what the announcers had to say since the sound was down so low...but what was your take on it? As I said earlier, Carl surprises me. Never thought he'd go back after him in retaliation, afterall, when BK bumped him, Carl admitted it wasn't done on purpose. And NASCAR parked Carl's car after that for aggressive driving. . .never saw that happened before. There is a first for everything. Too bad it is on a driver who isn't normally an aggressive driver liket hat, but then again, Carl is lucky that BK or anyone else didn't get hurt or involved. Still can'be believe Carl would do that. . .

  19. Anyway...I found Hammond picking out on everyone's dresses funny. I don't think any one else could have gotten by with it as well and as comically as he did. I miss him and Waltrip. LOL. I agree with you. I am soooo ready for Daytona.

  20. Appalled? I'm only stating the facts and trust me, I have nothing to say in the matter. I am wayyyyyyy ready for the kids to go back to school. So if I could have had it start sooner, I would have. ;) Sorry to upset you so much...wasn't my intention. LOL

  21. Are they slowign teh cars because of Edwards' crash? And yeah it was an odd thing with things hitting at the right moment. I am not pointing the finger at Edwards or anyone. It could have been anyone...I just remember Edwards saying it was his fault.

  22. Are you chatting right now?

  23. As for concerts, I have been to quite a few in the past, though it's been awhile since I've seen a country artist in concert. My favorite being Kenny Chesney with Keith Urban and Dierks Bently...or just Keith Urban with LIttle Big Town. Toby Keith was great so was Alan Jackson. Clint Black put on an awesome concert as did the Oak Ridge Boys when I had seen them. I have also seen Billy Ray Cyrus several times and even got on stage with him the last concert I went to.

Well sorry for all my posts...I really hope I didn't bore you. I can go on forever with Country Music, Dukes, or NASCAR.;) Thank-you for your messages, I really enjoyed reading it! :D

  24. As for Edwards...sixth isn't bad at all compared to where I thought he ended up. As I said, last I saw him, he was in the twenties something. So sixth is pretty good for that. "Always Next Year" Boy does that saying sound familiar! LOL That seems to be our Cubs slogan...there's always next year. I've been saying that for years with them. LOL

  25. As for how I'm doing...I'm doing alright. How about you? Hope all is well with you. Thanks for the message.

You think I am taking this jail thing too hard or with too much attitude? I don't want to upset anyone or anything. That is all Garrett talking...or my muse. I don't know how I got to create a character that is soooo much different than I am. But it makes difficult sometimes to know if I've taken it too far or what not when I do let him do his own thing and not reign him in. (Though I do try to tell him he's getting himself deeper in trouble...but he don't listen to me none. ;) )
