He frowned not liking the idea of Lori going off by herself in the woods, but she was gone before he had time to object. Getting in the General he slowly searched the road.
Yeah...I can't remember... I think he's pretty cool. I havent talked to him for a while... he's at camp right now, so I'm sure he will have stories to tell when he gets back...
"Nervous?" he shook his head in disbelief. "I'm glad you told me..." he added with a smile as he let her go. He wasn't sure what to think about all of this. He liked Lori...but he still wasn't sure about Bo... if she was wrong...if Bo had feelings for her, things could get awkward quick.
Luke sighed. "I appreciate the offer...I do...but yer what twelve years old...this ain't cops n robbers Jaime...these guys are mean...an' Bo's in trouble..."
He had been fighting with the zipper of the bag. As he heard those three words the bag flew out of his hand and across the treehouse floor. "You...you what?"
Luke nodded starting to unpack the different things he brought. "Ya shouldn't worry so much...you'll wrinkle that cute little face of yours," he said jokingly.
He looked at her taken a little aback seeing the tear in her eye. "Was no trouble....thought it'd be nice for us all t' play together like we used to so I brung ours too...you feelin' ok?" he asked, noting how flustered she seemed.
Luke nodded and started throwing things up ro the tree house...3 guitars, a duffel bag, and several blankets. He climbed up one handed carrying a picnic basket in the other. "Hey you two...stayin outta trouble?"
"Anybody home?" called Luke looking up into the tree. He heard soft voices , but couldn't make out what was being said. Knowing Bo he was sweet-talking her, and that was the main reason Luke called up. He knew that if it was a bad tiem to interrupt Bo would quickly tell him so.
