Fly whineyed at him.

Fly just kept her head turned continuing to search his pockets.

Luke smiled a little. Jesse just shook his head.

Fly stood still watching him.

Luke shook his head. "No...though...if it'd bring that doc back, I might feel somethin' comin on..." Jesse rolled his eyes. "Can't take you two nowhere."

Luke looked up at him and smiled. "Hey yerself." "How ya feelin' son," asked Jesse. Luke let out a yawn. "Tired."

Fly entered the pasture sensing Joe didn't want to play, limping a little on her leg.

Luke' s hand twitched under Bo's hand his eyes blinking open.

Fly tossed her head leaning over and picking up the hat and throwing it again.

Fly followed amiably before grabbing Joe's hat in her teeth and tossing it to the ground.

Luke's head tossed slightly. "Looks like he's starting to wake up," observed Jesse nodding to Luke.

Fly just snorted at him, sure there must be sugar in there somewhere.

Jesse shook his head. "I was afraid of that."

At that moment a pretty blond nurse walked by. Catching Bo's eye, she gave a small smile before walking away. "Don't you get no ideas.... one of ya in here is enough," said Jesse gruffly.

Fly came willingly over to Joe, nuzzling his shirt for a lump of sugar. Hank always having some with him, she figured Joe would too.

Jesse chuckled. "See any prospects do ya?"

Jesse nodded looking to Luke again.

"I'm sure you will" replied Hank turning to go back in.

Hank nodded. "Go ahead...only watch her hind leg....she's bee favorin' it a bit."

Jesse kept an eye on Luke too, though he could tell Luke wasn't the only thing on his youngest's mind. "I best go call Jaime."

Jesse nodded sitting in the chair on the other side of the bed.

Luke lay still in the bed, an IV hooked to his arm and his leg in traction, but a healthy color to his tan cheeks and no tightness on his mouth. "Well, he looks a sight better already," observed Jesse. "Don't look in so much pain."

Hank nodded chuckling a litle as he did. "Well you be careful just the same."
