Lori Davenport had left Hazzard with her Uncle Luther, who had promised her he'd help take care of her and the baby. She returned back to a life on the roads, as a country music singer, with her 5 year old son, Jesse Lukas Duke, by her side. Jesse Lukas Duke was born on January 29 at 12:00 midnight, the same time that her and Luke had made the mistake in the begining. Jesse was a wild eyed, free spirited littl eboy, he had dark brown curls and eyes as blue as the sky. It figured, he'd be another Luke Duke, like father like son. Every night Lori wondered if Luke knew about Jesse Lukas, turns out he did. Luke was reading the papers one daywhen he ran acroos the article that had a big picture of Lori and a small child in it, he read the article and looked at the picture, ti was his son, Jesse Lukas, a spitting image of him. Luke swallowed hard and shut his eyes. Lori's manager walked through her door ranting on and on about something,"Well til ya make up new material, yer last shwo is in a place called Hazzard." Lori nodded as she got up to pack her things, she knew the day would come whenever Jesse Lukas would ask her about his father. Speaking of the little devil, Jesse Lukas bounded through her doors,"HI MOMMY!!!" he said as he ploppe don her bed."Are you leaving me again?" Loir smiled turning to him,"No honey, mommy's going home, to were I grew up at. and yer coming with me." Jesse Lukas smiled and giggled running out to pack his things. Luther walked in,"Leaving fer Hazzard huh?" Loir sighed,"Yea unfortunatley...Jesse aint asked yet, I figured hed get around to it though sometime." Luther sighed,"Well sugar ya knowits coming." Lori looked to Luther,"Yea." It took Lori about an hour to pack hers and Jesse Lukas's things, she threw them in the back of Midnight Rider and closed the trunk. "See ya sometime soon Uncle Luther!!" Lori said strapping Jesse Lukas into his booster seat in the back,Luther nodded and waved going back in.Lori's band had rode in the tour bus following her to Hazzard. As she drove down the road she saw the sign,"WELCOME TO HAZZARD COUNTY" and felt a lump in her throat as she looked back to Jesse Lukas noticing him looking around in aw and amazement. When she was in town she thought about it and decided she should, she got on the CB to her driver in the tour bus and told him were to go to. Cooter had noticed ti and had saw the solid black 1969 Dodge Charger pull up to the curb,"IT CANT BE??" Dixie said in amazement as Lori climbed out,"Howdy ya'll!! miss me?" Dixie looked up to her and smiled Luke swallowed hard seeing a small figure in the backseat. Dixie knew who he saw and shook her head. Lori reached throught the back and undid Jesse Lukas's seat belt and picked him up helping him out.As she sat him down on the sidewalk taking his hand, Luke dropped a monkey wrench on Bo's toes. Loir looked to BL and laughed,"Done took my chnces on that subject BL dont think ill head down that road no more." Lori walked over and gave her a big hug,"Ill mis sya mouth of the south." BL giggled at her. Lori shook her head and walked to the door looking to Dixie winking,"Purty good aint he?" Luke heard the comment and snorted rolling his eyes smiling. Lori droped her bags and hugged Cooter,"Ill miss ya cousin." Cooter let a tear slip Dixie looked to Lori and hugged her tightly,"I swear I wish ya wouldnt leae cousin." Luke looked to Lori and hugged her,"Lor, I hoenslty wish youd stay and let me help ya take car eof the baby." Lori had a tear in her eye,"If I stay itll hurt me too much Lukas." Luke swallowed and returned his grip to Dixie's hand.Lori walked out putting her things in th trunk of her car, waving to everyone as she got in an dpulled out, Luther following in behind, She was gone, for how long? no one knows.

B.B spoke up,"Hey ya'l lets head on back to the Boar's Nest and, well Lori you cant drink, but we can and we need to!" Loir laughed,"How bout this we all play us one last tune together!" Dixie nodded. they all, including Luke arrived at the boars nest seeing uncle jesse and daisy there. they knew that something had happened, but didint ask as luke walked over to them,"Well guys its all over, no more drama, sad thing is Lori is leaving, she wont stay and shes pregnant." Uncle Jesse shook his head and looked away to the Davenports who were in frotn of the mics,"Howdy ya'll," Lori said,"Id like to sing a song by a good friend o' mine in Nashville, Hnak Williams Jr, called Family Tradition." Everyone began clapping as Lori gave them the beat and they she began to sing. Lori loved singing as it was her passion, she thought about it, after she'd had this baby she;d return to her music. She turned and looked to her family as everyone smiled at her, listening to her voice. Loir looked to Luke and smiled and winked.Luke looked to her clapping and whistling, paying morwe attention to Dixie, he saw the look lori had givren him ad instantly smiled back winking. As everyone got finished and stepped off the stage Lori looked to Dixie and Luke and smiled,"I like to dedicate this song to my cousin Dixie and Lukas.." Lori then began to sing Up On a Hill........a song she had made a looong time ago. She began her raspy, smooth velvety voice singing the song Luke looked to Dixie and smiled taking her hand, they both looked to Lori and clapped their hands whistling to her and smiling. Luke looked to Dixie,"If theres anyone that I know has a voice like an angel its Lori." Dixie frowned at him,"Im kidding darling although she does have an excellent voice." Dixie smiled,"Yea my cousin sure does."

Luther got in his car and drove on to follow Lori. When he caught up to her he got on the cb and told he rto pull over lori had tears in her eyes and pulled off, hsving been there with Midnight Rider, she looked at the cabin and softly whispered,"Uncle Luther....I...I love Luke, I honeslty do, I know though he doesn't love me back, but I can't help it, I hate fightin with ym cousins I want this to all stop!!!!" Lori bursted out into tears and cried into her uncle's shoulder,Luther looked down to her and rubbed her hair away from her eyes,"S'ok darlin, you still gonna come live with me aint ya?" Lori nodded,"Y..Yes I am." Luther smiled he knew Luke wouldn't get the chance to hurt his niece more than what he had. "First Ill tow this and we'll get it fixed up, then we'll go say our apologies, have this reunion and head home, sound good?" Lori nodded. Luther pulled the chain and pushed the levers lifting the car up. Lori got in his car and drove it back to the garage, everyone sighed in relief to see Lori back in one piece. Lori turned around and got bloody red,"BL YOU WISH TO GOD YOUD NEVER SAID THAT ONE, IVE HAD ENOUGH OF YER SMART REMARKS AND YER D--- MOUTH FLAPPING ALL THE TIME!!!" Lori turned around to see BL ready to fight, Lori took a swing at her missing first, BL threw a punch and nicked the side of Lori's mouth, Lori turned around and swung again missing on purpose BL ducking Lori pulling her legs out from in under her, Bl fell back with a *THUD* holding her head, Lori jumped on top of her and started swinging, BL swinging back, "NOW THATS ENOUGH YOU TWO!!" Lori looked as she saw Luke walk up she looked to him and smirked shrugging as she walked out. She saw her friend Mylinda pull up, Mylinda had waited for Lori since she knew what was going on. Lori hopped in her car and they drove off to the Boar's Nest, to cause trouble more than likely. As they drove by the garage Lori stuck he rhead out the window,"SEE YALL LATER HA!!!" Lori stuck her head in the window and drove on with Mylinda. BL looked to Dixie as Dixie looked to everyone else who knew it was going to be exciting!

Lori jolted up,"YA THINK?? MR SIDE SHOW STUD?!!!! S---!!! DANG IT I REALYL MA NOW!! LORDIE ME IM DEAD, OHHH GREAT THIS'LL GIVE B.L SOMETHING TO RANT ON ME ABOUT NOW!!!!" Lori looked to the Doctor who stood still a piece of paper in hand,"The results came back Miss Davnport." Lori shook he rhead,"Yea?" The doc sighed,"Postitve." Lori hung her head and slowly turned it to Luke,"Ill kill you when I get ym hands on you Lukas!!!" The doc decided it was time he left doing so Little looked to Lori and pointed his fingers to her feet,"Id like those shoes Miss Davenport." Lori shook her head and sat down on the bunk,"no, I iant goona chunk em at luke, hell be safe, fer now!" Luke swallowed hard before looking to her and saying........

Yea I caught glimpes of it, my dad watches it!! LOL thats just about the only game sill play is baseball or softball and thats it, if ya count horseback riding a sport i do it too!! LOL congrats fellers!!!!

Loraine turned to look, she shot at them back, she looked and saw the dukes farm up ahead she prayed that Hank or Joe wouldnt come out, As she crossed through thr field nearest the farm she shot at them again.

Lori glared to Luke,"Yea I intend to be apart of the child's life, and no you aint moving out of Uncle Jesse's house, why dont you leave welle nough alone an dlet me go be happy??" Luke looked down,god she was difficult to please. "I done said I was gonna help ya take care of that danged child, and I intend to do so!" Lori got up,"You want a child so bad go get pregnant yerself and have one! get the hint, you hurt me once I dont want you around me no more!" The words actually hurt Luke alittle. "You dont?" Sheriff Little got up and had followed Enos, Luke looked to Lori sleeping away, He really hated to hurt her like that he just hoped it didnt lead her to trying to do something she'll regret. Little walked out and saw Dixie giving her the letter. Dixie took ti and opened it reading it. Dixie had a tear in her eye when she read, knowing it was true. she looked to sheriff Little who looked to her and nodded, knowing shed want to go see him. Dixie walked in and waited for sheriff Little to open the door, she ran into the room and immediatley ran to Luke, quietly i mind you. Luke reached his arms out through the bars and hugged her, gently kissing her. Lori never knew a thing bout it, she was snoring and talking i her sleep as always. Luke looked to the chair and looked to Dixie, she walked over and got the chair. "Now look we need to talk, I had this idea that IF Lori is, that she come live with us at the farm so I could take care of it, well she agreed, naturally, but I dont think she meant it though, it did catch her off guard... Shes still thinking of leaving after she gets out, to go and live with yer father who whole heartedly agrees with her, cause soon as she hits them doors, Shes heading straight fer B.L and gonna murder her, then shell end up right back in here." Lori looked to BL,"OHHH YOU WAIT, YOULL PAY FER THAT COMMENT COUSIN!!!" Lori still had fire in her eyes and was getting upset and angry all over again. B.L just snorted and snickered. Dixie looked down as she saw the glare in Lori's eyes looking over her shoulder to Luke," Nope i believe im pregnant, congrats!! yer a grandparent!! and no ya cant set bail, we'll be out in a couple of weeks. Bobbie Lee looked to Luke,"He the father er something?" Lori looked to him and smirked again,"He sure is dad, and it was accidental too mind you, never meant fer ti to happen!" Dixie looked to Lori, how could she be soo crule to Luke like that? Lori looked at Dixie,"whats wrong cousin cat got yer toungue?" Dixie replied,"N...No Lori whats wrong with you?" Little who in his life had never been afraid of anyone was alittle intimedated by Lori letting the family stay for a littl while. Bobbie Lee looked down,"i know I never treated you right when you was little, and Lori id like to make it up to ya, I just didnt think I could handle having three kids instead of these two." Bobbie Lee hung his head as his older brother looked to him and shook his head. Bobbie Lee opened his mouth again,"Lori i really am sorry, I was drunk and all you would do when you was 5 was get into trouble and you caused em to get mad, I never did hate you, but you hated me though."
