  3. I have just found out that my dixie air horn does not fit my car, so I will have to get an electronic version instead. It is not the same I know but what else can I do, I cannot get a bigger car.

It has 5 plastic trumpets, a 12V compressor, a relay, hose and instructions as standard. But I also have some 30A fuses, a fuse holder and a switch. Also, if anyone is interested, I have made a metal custom bracket designed to hold all of the trumpets in many arrangments.

I am looking in the region of around 75 US Dollars for the lot. It has never been used once, it is brand new, in perfect condition, and comes with the parts that are not normally included. All that is needed is some wire.

I will send it to America, and postage will be paid by the buyer.

Payment would be prefferred via PayPal if at all possible.

I am going to place it on eBay UK, but I thought that I would offer it to everyone here first.

If anyone is at all interested, just reply to this post. I will answer any questions I can.

BUT - i have a plan B - an electronic one which will be much smaller and is remote operated and has 3 melodies (dixie doh style, dixie musical, on the road again)

but, would anyone be interested in a dixie air horn?

  7. y'all are so dang lucky - i dont stand a hope in hell of getting any charger for a long time

i am looking at another option though, a Brittish General Lee, a ford granada done up like the Lee, the granada is pretty similar to the charger in terms of shape, styling is not as good, and has a smaller power plant, but it is the closest thing England has to a classic muscle car

  9. I have just seen Jessica Simpson's new music video - These Boots are Made for Walking

It is basically her singing in the Boar's Nest as Daisy Duke, and then you see her washing the General in a bikini, and there is a big bar fight and it is, dare I say, a pretty good video. It is nowhere near good enough to be considered Dukes of Hazzard, but it good none the less.

  11. i live in Kent in England, and the police here HATE the motorist with a vengance - cops get promoted more often if they give out speeding tickets than if they arrest murderers

the whole police force in the UK is messed up - they are happier to go and fine motorists for absolutely anything than to track down 'real' criminals

the police here just want to make money, not do their job

  13. unfortunatley i do not have any pics of it cos my computer memory was wiped by a virus a while ago, so i lost everything

but as Dale said, and i have recently checked on, it was MY mistake about the originality of the car

apparently the owner says it is designed to be an original styled general lee, not the original, which is where i got confused (damn dyslexia!)

and i thought it was a coupe, but the owner kept saying it was a mustang, so i was not sure, i know more about Brittish cars and American trucks, not much about the old muscle cars except that they are sweet rides

but that link that Dale posted is very cool indeed
