Bo swallowed gently as he leant against the barn whole, having taken on a slight tremble and not from cold. For some reason, an inexplicable fear had risen in him and while it wasn't showing completly, he knew that right now the slightest thing was going to set it off, something he couldn't afford to let happen. He kept trying to clam himself down, but there wasn't a lot he could do without alerting B.L. that there was something wrong. As soon as she knew that she would take him straight hom and he wasn't ready to go face a tongue lashing from his family yet....

Daisy smiled and eventually gently pulled away, rubbing Luke's back gently before turning back to making the pie she had been before Luke's outburst. She loved both her cousins dearly and while inside she felt slighlty panicked that Bo had run off without telling anyone....really she knew that if it was anyone's fault it was B.L's. She had seen the look on B.L's face when Bo had resigned himself to his room and had been supported all the way there by Uncle Jesse and Luke, she wanted to rescue him and allow him the fun the family restricted because of worry. Bo was in good hands with B.L. She was sensible and would call or bring Bo back if there were any problems....she just didn't want to tell Luke because in his frame of mind he was more than likely to take it out on the girl.

Jesse swallowed gently as he sat next to Luke, watching him down the watered down beer like it was the only hope he had left. Shaking his head, he took the beer glass away from him and gently but firmly led him outside with a look that refused argument. He put Luke into the passenger seat of the truck, CB'ing Cooter to come pick up the General for them, before driving away, talking softly to Luke. "Now, first things first, you know I don't like you drinkin' alcohol like that, even if it is watered down. And Two, you also know that I don't approve of you boys drowning your sorrows in the stuff either. So, instead, why don't ya tell me how ya feel so we can work through this together....like we all should have done last time..." He trailed off, driving slowly so he could look to Luke briefly and place a supportive hand on his shoulder, drawing him close.
-
Daisy nodded, resting her head on his chest as he proped his chin on the top of her head, sighing gently. "I know ya worry about him, we all do. But there's worryin' an' there's bein' paranoid...i'm sure he's just fine. Uncle Jesse's big toe would be hurting if there was trouble which there ain't." She reminded him jokingly.
-
Daisy shook her head, crossing to Luke and wrapping her arms around him, knowing the glare was only given because he was worried and she was the one calming him down instead of him being able to go and do what he wanted, which was to find Bo and drag him back home. "Luke...Bo is a grown man, not a 5 year old anymore. I'm sure he had the sense to take his inhaler..." She glanced to the open bedroom door where Bo and Luke always hung their coats. "Look he even took his coat. C'mon cut yer younger cousin some slack...and actually there have been quite a few times you've been laid up because someone beat ya bad so dont you start that."

Jesse looked up from his table in the Boar's Nest as he heard the door open and thought he heard a familiar voice. He was about to call out to Luke when he saw the despondent and troubled look on his face as he headed over to his place at the bar. With a soft sigh he got up and crossed over to this oldest charge, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Somethin' troubling you boy?"

Bo closed his eyes as he put his hands behind his head, not sleeping as he wasn't tired, just content to listen to the world around him...something a little while ago he didn't know if he'd get to do again without being in bed with an oxygen mask on his face. He had never told his family or his friends, and had asked the doctor's specifically not to tell them, that the doc's weren't sure if his lungs would recover from this, if they would get stronger again as he had had to be on supported oxygen for so long. He didn't want them to know because it would only worry them further, and he wanted to get through this on his own with having to do some stupid set of exercises that Luke and Jesse would make him do. He had some to do of course from the doc, but they didn't know that. He would do them every so often, but he would also do his own excerices, the ones he knew he could do and work at to make his lungs as strong as possible and keep them that way. He had promised the Doc that he would tell them....but he just couldn't bring himself to put them through anymore of that kind of worry.

Bo skidded into one of his favourite hideaways that he wasn't aware anyone knew about to have some alone time. He headed into the old cabin and flopped down on the matress there. It was relativly well kept seeing as it was covered and all, and it was comfy and that's all that mattered. He lay there, looking up at the cieling for god knows how long, as he let the thoughts jumble about in his head, his finger unconciously tracing the scar on his chest where he had been shot. Luke was even willing to go back to her after all that had happened too.....
-
As Bo sped away, in all truth a little faster than he should have done, he found that he had to keep wiping away the tears of hurt and frustration. How many times had Luke sobbed into his shoulder that he never wanted to see her again, how many times did he ask Bo to make sure they never laid eyes on each other again...and yet when he tried to warn him, Luke had gone back on the promise that he had made Bo make and gone to see her anyway. He knew, or thought he might know, what would happen next...there was one of two options. Either Luke and her would make up and then they would get back together and she would hurt him again....or he would realise what a snake she was and decide to stay clear away...he wasn't exactly optimistic about the latter.
-
Bo tensed slightly as he kept his back turned to Luke, watching as he walked away and shaking his head. Luke had answered his own question as he headed towards the jail and he whispered sadly after him "Exactly that Luke." His sleeping with Cassie had meant nothing and he had learnt quickly from that time just how manilpulative and controlling Cassie was and he had never been happy about her and Luke whatsoever. SHaking his head, he slid into the General, started him up and powered away.
-
Bo swallowed hard, his jaw tensing a little as he looked around...so people were staring let them stare, he didn't care. Looking back to Luke, he shook his head No...guess i;ll never understand will I....why dont ya just go be with her Luke....but dont ask me to stick around when ya do. He said before turning and storming back to General Lee, tears in the bottom of his eyes that he wiped away furiously

Bo shook his head I tol' her I wouldnt willing step into that jail to talk to her on any accounts....Luke she was the one who caused you to do those things....if she hadn't turned up you would have never gotten like you did! It is her fault! He said a little bit louder than he meant to, his anger at her and worry for Luke that had sprung as soon as he had laid eyes on Cassie shining through.
-
Bo, who was still looking quite pale, shook his head looking down to the floor. "To be honest Luke I didn't look nor care....she....all I could remember was how bad she hurt you....and how we nearly....nearly lost you because of her...I kinda got mad and yelled at her...my anger was really all I was focused on...."

Bo managed to grab his coat before B.L. helped him out the window, knowing that if Luke should catch them he could lessen the telling off he would get by wearing a coat and protecting his chest...even though he didn't have a cold or anything. Still. getting one that made him cough would be pretty dire so he decided to anyway. He chuckled a little as they snuck out the farm and into the woods, to their small hiding place they had as kids. Grinning he sat down, sighing in relief and coughing a little. "Thanks....B....B.L..."
