Bo looked to him as Luke didn't laugh back and saw his face turn from a small smile to a slightly bitter and angry scowl. He sighed and shook his head, wishing that he didn't have to kee drilling this into Luke's head. "I know what your thinkin' Luke...an' she didn't shuck an' jive ya about anything...she does love ya, you heard what Lori said in there...and you know it's true because Lori doesn't want to see you get hurt again..." He sighed and shook his head. "I gotta admit cousin...I don't like this...I ain't used to bein' the one who gives out advice or...tries to encourage ya ta do something...and to be honest its scarin' me to death seein' you like this and even more so that i've screwed up an' I'm drivin' ya right to gettin' your heart broken again...I just can't get the look on your face whenever Candy's around outta my head...I ain't never seen you so happy and content..."

Bo chuckled. nodding "Course not...bit of a stupid question..."

Bo continued to drive, looking out for a car that could be candy's. "Do you know what car she was drivin' Luke?"

Bo shook his head "You'll know Luke...when the time comes..you'll just know..."

Bo grinned happily as she sped down the roads, glad that out of the corner of his eyes he could see Luke smiling.

Bo grinned with a huge Yeeee hawwww as he powered up a jump and sailed effortlessly over the bridge.

Bo smiled a little, looking to him "Well there is always one way to get over a washed out bridge..."

Bo nodded "So what d'ya think they quickest way there is?"

"Well for starters, where would Candy have gone to pack and then which way would she be heading out of Hazzard..." He said as he concentrated on driving.

Bo put the General into gear and sped away. "Alright i'm gonna need your help here Luke..."

Bo smiled to Lori with a mouthed thanks before heading down the corridor with Luke in tow, sliding into the General Lee.

Bo nodded and stood up, taking the shirt Luke held out to him again and slipping it onto his shoulders, doing it up. "Alright cousin, let's go..."

Bo looked up a little to him before looking to Lori "You uh...you gonna be ok if I go with Luke?"

Bo looked away a little, trying to find his own grip on his emotions to stop himself bursting into tears.

Bo swallowed. "You did..."

Bo didn't take it back, keeping his hands on Luke's shoulders and squeezing softly. "Someone I trust dearly once told me that there are things in life we's all afraid to do...but if you live with those fears you'll never have any fun...if you let them take you over you'll never be happy...you'll always wish there was something you could have done but couldn't because of your fear...."

Bo stood up, taking Luke by the shoulders gently. "Then don't let it..."

Bo sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Luke...now the way I see it Candyt left the hospital about an hour ago..I'll bet ya she's gone packin'...now instead of thinkin' with yer head an' how much you could get hurt again...think with your heart...if Candy leaves Hazzard there is a good chance you will never see her again...do you really want that..."

Bo sighed "That's what i've been trying to tell you Luke...it doesn't make any sense...but think about it...think about how much evidence you got that she hates you - next to nothing - and how much you got that says she loves ya..."

Bo bit his bottom lip gently and looked to Luke.

Bo sighed and lead Luke gently into Lori's room, treating him a little like a child "There we go...here you sit down here Luke...right there..."

Bo sighed and nodded. "Alright never mind...." He put his arm around Luke's shoulders and started to lead him out, glancing back at Daisy in a 'I'm gonna need to cry soon' expression.
