Jaime shrugged, sitting down in the seat that Luke pressed her into at the breakfast table, putting her hands on the table and twidling her thumbs as she watched them.

Jaime sighed as she watched the school bus leave down the road, her friends all giving her sympathetic and better luck next time looks as she was walked inside like a prisoner was walked to a jail cell.

Bo grinned back, relinquishing his hold over to Luke. "But one thing I ain't been very good at is knowin' how to make them listen...good luck cousin..." He said with a wink before heading inside.

"Yeah well, this daughter wants to do some new things for herself..." She said, darting off the bed and out her room, darting through the kitchen and jumping over a kitchen chair, seeing the school bus just starting to drive past the farm and her friends all cheering her on. What she didn't count on however, was Bo. He eaisly was hidden behind the tree when he saw her steaming outside and caught her round her middle, holding her.

Jaime stood up, actually a little peeved at how Luke was reacting now. "Well I don't think its fair that Aunt Daisy gets to wear this sort of thing everyday and none of you's bats an eyelid!"

I found out who Martha Duke was! If you look at the episode Treasure of Hazzard, on September the 9th 1762 she gave birth to Joshua Duke - She was one of the first dukes to settle in Hazzard. So from that, this is what I think....the writers have got themselves very very confused is the obvious point, but that is where a Martha Duke is first mentioned. I recon Martha overall was Jessie's sister and Lavinia is his wife because Lavinia has more poignent moments in the Duke family mentioned, like her death. I've always believed it was Lavinia.

Jaime remained where she was, her arms folded across her chest. "I'd love to see you try and make me..."

Jaime folded her arms. "You can't make me wear anything..."

Jaime sighed and sat on her bed, looking up at him. "Daddy i'm 14 years old now....the cheerleaders are never gonna accept me if I don't show em what I got..." She said, laying down the second line. She knew her father hated the cheerleaders and had adamently forbid her from joining the squad, something she actually was still trying to dissuade him from.

Jaime shrugged and grabbed an apple out the bowl as she passed it, heading for the door and opening it. "Sorry Daddy, I'm gonna be late for school. Love ya, see ya tonight." With that she shut the door and headed out the yard. Daisy watched her go, biting her bottom lip a little and looking to Luke.

Jaime looked up from where she was reading through one of her text books. "In what? Oh my sandels?! Do you like 'em? Daisy brought them for me...I though they were real nice..."

Jaime was dressed in shorts that could rival Daisy's and a short top that showed off her flat midriff along with a pair of sandels. She had a little make up on and her hair was hung loose down to her shoulders with her school bag slung over one. Bo bit his lip and mumbled an excuse, not wanting to be in the kitchen for what was likely to ensue.

Bo looked up and shook his head. "No, I wasn't up early enough. It was already done when I got out here, wasn't it Daisy!" Daisy nodded from the stove, setting the table for breakfast. "Sure was Luke..."

Jaime grumbled a little as he left, finally finding her hair clasp and putting her hair up roughly before searching around in her wadrobe for some clothes. She grinned as she pulled some things out and looked over her shoulder....biting her lip....Luke wanted to play Daddy...well it was time to test him on something else...she only every tested him on things to know her boundries...but she also liked to have some fun with Luke when he did something underhanded to get her up in the morning. Bo was sipping his coffee when Luke walked passed and ruffled his hair, shaking his head afterwards with a small scowl. He couldn't hold it for long though as he once again saw the fulfilled and contented look on Luke's face again that morning. Jaime's arrival at the farm sure had changed Luke, and for the better too. He was more like he was before he had gone to war.

Jaime groaned and got out of bed, starting to search around on the floor, her now long dark hair covering her face.

Jaime turned her half sleepy scowl on him. "You were gonna..."

Jaime scowled and sat up, rubbing her eyes a little. "Daddy that ain't funny..."

Jaime yelped a little as he did, huddling into herself as she whined. "Daddy!"

Bo mumbled as Luke tickled his foot, jerking it back under the covers. Now he had been disturbed he wouldn't be able to get back to sleep again, especially not after Luke had tickled him. For some reason, Luke had the ability to make his tickles leave the spot his fingers had invaded tingling afterwards for some time. Sighing, he pushed himself sleepily out of bed and started to get ready for the day. Jaime however, wasn't quite as easy to get up. At Luke's voice she moaned and turned over, shaking her head sleepily with a small "Uh uh..."

Jaime meanwhile was still in bed, despite it being a school day. She may have been Luke's daughter now, as the adoption papers tucked safely away in the house saidl, but she sure had picked up the knack of being able to sleep though things like Bo did. Twice now her alarm clock had gone off and both times she had sleepily reached out and bashed the snooze button and tumbled back into sleep. Bo too was still asleep, not aware of Luke being awake, tucked safley into his covers and sleeping soundly as always.

Candy giggled and fell back into his arms again, sighing softly as they once more locked lips. Bo soon pulled back up at the hospital and headed to Lori's room, flopping down into a chair beside her bed without saying a word to the others, groaning and closing his eyes. "I swear he's gonna be the death of me one day..."

Bo laughed and shook his head, speeding away and back to the hospital. Candy smiled as Luke came back over, not seated on the trunk of her car, leaning back on her hands. "I don't rightly remember...you might have to start over..."

Bo smiled back at him, seeing the twinkle start to appear back in Luke's eyes and nodded as he started up the General again. "Alright, i'm gonna head on back to the hospital...don't you do anythin' I wouldn't do ya hear..."

Candy nodded a little, watching him as he pulled away. "Yeah..."

Candy had never felt happier than when she was in Luke's arms, feeling his hands where they were supposed to be, hus arms wrapped tight around her and protecting her from everything else in the world except his love. Bo rolled his eyes, sitting back in the General's seat and looking up at the roof of the General.
