Bo jumped as he heard Lori's voice and what she was saying and an instant surge of dislike again. Lori was now being a hypocrite...she had hurt Luke too and yet there she was yelling and ranting like it was the worst thing in the world to do.

Bo sighed softly and smiled to Daisy supportivly as she headed out to see Lori before sitting back in the seat a little more, still holding onto Luke...he had to find a way to get the truth about how Candy felt...Luke couldn't go on like this...

Bo bit his lip a little, looking down at Luke. "I dunno Cooter....Luke's still asleep and I dont know if we're the first people she'd want to see at the moment...well not me an' Luke anyways...Daisy could go in I guess and i'll see if Luke wakes up a little later..."

Bo looked up from where he was holding Luke still, unable to let go because if he did Luke would move and hug into him harder. He was fast asleep of course, having worn himself out crying but still maintained a death grip on Bo's shirt...it was unsettling for Bo who was used to seeing his older cousin strong and supporting other people...he wasn't used to it being this way round, but he didn't mind it at all. He just wished Luke would think the way he used to...that everyone was innocent until proven guilty...it may have been proved that Candy's original intentions were hurtful...but they had yet to prove that Candy didn't really love Luke... He smiled at the news about Lori in relief, watching as Cooter teared up also in relief. He didn't want to wake Luke yet, his older cousin needed all the sleep he could get it seemed. He would tell Luke when he saw fit to wake up himself.

Bo closed his eyes a little and shook his head, not wanting to talk about it anymore and upset Luke.

Bo continued to hold him, waiting for news and waiting for Daisy and Cooter to come back.

Bo shook his head, keeping Luke close. "I'm not gonna..."

Bo shook his head "She never lied about how she feels about you Luke...and i'm gonna prove it to you..."

Bo sighed hard "Luke...you can claim that and tell yourself that as much as you want...but I can see she's a part of ya...and if making you happy is what she does...I aint got no right to stand in the way....but I got an obligation to help out my brother..."

"Now I ain't gonna sit by and watch ya mope over all this....either i'm gonna prove that she still loves ya and get you two back together....despite how i'm feelin' about her...or i'm gonna find out the truth an look after ya...because I know how happy she makes you and I don't want you to lost that..."

Bo hugged him back, rubbing his back through the blue plaid and resting his head on top of Luke's....boy did it feel wierd to be doing that....he never did this....mainly because Luke never let him before. "Now Luke...you gotta think...if Cooter knew about Candy...that means Lori had to as well...now she could have left Candy behind in that shack, seein' as she means so much to ya an all...something had to have happened between them girls for them to help each other out...Lori would never let Candy near ya if she knew she was still gonna hurt ya...."

Bo sighed and got out his handkerchief, gently wiping Luke's cheeks. "I can wear my heart on my sleeve....because I know if it gets trampled on I got my big brother to tell me everythin' gonna be ok again...I got him to tell me that no matter how much your heart gets trampled on by girls, you can't let it put ya down...because you'll sink into a place you don't wanna be..."

Bo sighed and shook his head. "Luke it just don't make no sense...if you really set out to hurt someone...how do you suddenly go from hating them to loving them again in a second...I ain't forgiven Lori yet for hurting you and I sure ain't forgiving Candy for it neither..."

Bo swallowed hard, an instant dislike springing up now for Candy too....but still something felt wrong.. "But...Luke....if she really intended to do that even now...why would she admit it to you...and why would she save Lori's life?"

Bo swallowed softly, sitting Luke down. "Luke we can't...we gotta stay here an' make sure Lori's ok remember...we gotta...what happened.."

Bo sighed, looking to Daisy and Cooter, asking them gently to leave the room so he could talk with Luke alone. "Luke...come on sit down..."

Bo looked up as he heard Luke calling down the corridor before he came into the room, standing up instantly and going to him seeing the tears in Luke's eyes....he hated that. Luke never ever cried...unless it was something really really bad...like someone had died or something... He instantly pulled Luke into a hug, holding his brother close.

Candy shook her head desperatly, trying to say something else to him but he wouldn't let her, finishing up what he had to say before going inside without a second glance. Choking before breaking into sobs, Candy grabbed a cab and headed back to the place her and Jack and been saying at to to pick up her things.

Candy sighed, swallowing hard as tears sprang to her eyes. "Luke...I did...alright, I came back with Jack to hurt Lori...he...he's my husband, or he was he ain't gonna be no more...i'm gettin' a divorce..." She bit her lip gently as a tear dripped down her cheek. "And...I wanted to...use you to hurt Lori and...to hurt you back for what you did in the Marines...I missed ya every day of my life...I thought we had something special and you just...you pushed me away like you didn't care...I wanted you to hurt like I did but...as soon as I was with you again I...everything changed..." She stood up and hurried to Luke, holding his hands. "Luke I love you so much...I thought I was over you but I'm not...I'm not..."

Candy swallowed, looking back into his eyes before looking away a little...she knew he already knew the truth and couldn't think of anything to say.

Candy took his hand and stood up, holding Luke's hand as they both headed outside and to the gardens, not missing the supportive squeeze to Luke's shoulder that Bo have him as they passed. Eventually they reached the gardens and Candy sat down on a bench while Luke remained standing and started to pace a little. Eventually, she asked softly. "So...what did you want to talk about?"

Candy looked up as Luke came over and nodded a little, nervous about how serious and slightly upset he looked. It didn't take her long to piece together what he may want to talk about, but she wouldn't say anything until he had confirmed it. Nodding she answered softly. "Alright...in here or...you wanna go somewhere else?"

Bo sighed and whispered to him. "You might as well get the talk over with...Candy's gonna know something's up if you carry on like this anyhow.."

Bo smiled and led him back up to the waiting room. When they got there, Candy and Daisy were talking softly between themselves and Cooter was still tucked in his own little corner, still glaring a little at Candy behind her back, but mainly lost in his own train of thought. Biting his lip, he looked to Luke, not knowing what he would do at the moment.

Bo nodded, putting an arm around Luke's shoulder. "Now lets go back inside ..."
