Jesse sighed softly and continued the motions, starting to rock Luke in his arms gently. "I know...what you want right now Luke...what you're wishing for...and i'm sorry that I can't and haven't ever been able to give that to ya...but all I can try and do is support ya and love ya with all my heart...you'll always have that from me Luke...always..."

Jesse led him all the way to the barn, stopping him when they were safely inside and turning him round. He didn't however start up the lectures or sit Luke down and demand to know what was running through his head, he instead just pulled Luke into his arms and hugged him softly, running a hand through his dark curls and rubbing his back softly.

Jesse sighed as he watched Bo slink indoors and head to his room, seeing that for once Bo didn't want to be with anyone...he wanted to be left alone. Shaking his head, he went outside and saw Luke walking away. Without a word, he walked up to Luke, gripped his shoulders and turned him around, keeping the grip on his shoulders as he marched Luke to the barn.

Bo, for the first time in his life when Luke had wanted to confide something in him, found himself walking away. He had always known that to a degree Luke and Daisy could remember their parents and when he was little, sometimes he heard them talking when they thought he was asleep about them. He didn't know his, had no memory of them. All he had was Uncle Jesse and Aunt Lavinia and while they had been the perfect substitutes...that's all they were....substitutes...he would never have the memories that Daisy and Luke had...would never remember getting a hug or a kiss goodnight from his mom and dad...and that was why he didn't like to hear Luke talk about how much he missed it. He wanted to desperatly to just turn around and tell Luke how pathetic he was being about it, how at least he had that to remember them by, at least he could remember experiencing that...Bo only had proof his parents had loved, kissed him..actually existed as his parents through photgraphs - old ones at that. But he couldn't say that to Luke...partly because he didn't have the guts to reveal his feelings about that...but also because he didn't want to hurt Luke's feelings like that.

Bo nodded a little and went to stand up. "Well then I don't recon you wanna be talkin' to me...I won't have a clue what you's talkin ' about..." And truth be told he didn't want to hear that either though he would never ever admit that to Luke.

Bo sighed and looked down "So you regret bein' here then?"

Bo swallowed a little. "You did?"

Bo frowned a little, shaking his head. "Then what is it like..."

Bo chuckled a little and shook his head "Lori you keep thinkin' like that an' you ain't never gonna be happy....truth is the reason it didn't work out with you and Luke is because you's too much of a friend to us...we've known ya for so long...it would be like datin' his sister an' that's how I'd feel too..."

Bo sighed and tilted Luke's head up. "Luke...you may not have had someone to call Daddy...but you had Uncle Jesse...and he was a good a role model as anyone..."

Bo grinned and looked to her. "Now I thought all the fun of secret admirers was to try and find out who it was yerself.."

Bo sighed and sat down next to him. "Luke...she tried to come right out after ya to tell ya she didn't mean it but Daisy stopped her...she loves ya Luke an' if the social services didn't think you were gonna be a good daddy they wouldn't have let ya adopt her would they? And Jaime sure has heck wouldn't have stayed this long..."

Bo leaned back in his chair and folded his hands behind his head, stretching his long legs out in front of him. "Well I heard from Sara...that her friend has a real cute brother who thinks your pretty cute..."

Bo swallowed and shook his head. "Luke she didn't mean that..."

Bo groaned and ran across the yard, grabbing Luke by the shoulders and stopping him, standing in front of him. "You know I oughta give ya a slap for that...you know I hate runnin', it makes me look like a duck.."

Bo nodded with a smile "WEll at the moment it don't suck...it feels great...an' you know what I heard?"

Bo shrugged. "I dunno....I'll just take it as it does...I sure ain't got the instant spark Luke and Candy got...but...she makes me feel happy..."

Jaime moved forward, shaking her head, about to speak when Daisy put her hands on her shoulders and shook her head softly, pulling Jaime into a hug. She knew that Jaime hadn't meant that at all... Bo instantly took his cue as Jesse looked at him and nodded, running out the door and calling out as he ran after his cousin. "Luke! Luke, don't you walk away from me..."

Bo grinned back a little, shaking his head. "You know Sara from the ice-cream store?"

Jaime clenched her jaw and said right back, not able to stop herself and only realizing exactly what she had said after she said it. "No your not, your just a guy who adopted me!"

Bo shook his head with a smile. "No I got no reason not to talk about her...she's so beautiful..."

Daisy shook her head and stood up, going to Jaime's room and pulling her out by her wrist, making Jaime stand beside her. "Luke...my top is low cut...Jaime's doesn't show hardly anything...the shirt stops above her belly button and the shorts start underneath it...my shorts comes down to just below my butt...her shorts go half way down her theighs...your over reacting..."

"Well no...I mean I got a girlfriend at the moment...I just didn't think you'd be interested in hearin' about her..." He said with a frown

Daisy sighed and shook her head. "Luke...honestly...she doesn't look that bad..."

Bo shrugged, rubbing his temple a little as his head throbbed. "Urm...not much...workin' on the General an' racin'...helpin' with the farm..."
