Bo just laughed harder, shaking his head "You get all Uncle Jesse like when your serious...you get his frown, his pout, give his speeches and lectures...everything..."

Bo laughed a little and shook his head, pointing at him. "See there ya go..."

Bo chuckled a little. "Ah well...your already turnin' out like he is so I guess its good for you to take notes on how to act Uncle Jesse like..."

Bo nodded in agreement "I know..."

Bo rolled his eyes a little and shook his head. "Uncle Jesse come on its not like Luke's killed me. So he squeezed my shoulder a little hard, big deal. Don't worry about it, i'll be right as rain before you know it and stop apologisin' for an accident Luke..."

Bo sighed and said in a simple sounding tone of voice. "Just said I got a hairline fracture an' my muscle in my shoulder's inflammed is all.."

Bo shook his head. "Don't need to...saw the pretty doctor comin' outta your room and she was headed to the waiting room...he'll probably be in here in a minute..."

Bo shook his head, not really wanting to divulge what the doctor had been saying about Luke, knowing it would only make Luke doubt himself more and Bo didn't want that to happen...Jaime was counting on Luke and she couldn't afford to see him having a breakdown because of something the doctor said. "It doesn't matter...point is he won't say it again..."

"Ah well...it's done now...not much else I can do about it." He muttered.

Bo shrugged again, sitting back in the chair. "Little bit...he didn't get what I was telling him so I knocked some sense into him instead..."

Bo sighed and shook his head. "Luke it's a hairline fracture, it ain't that bad. It don't even hurt...and it was an accident so don't you go blaiming yourself or i'm gonna give ya a smack like the doctor got..."

Bo shrugged with the one shoulder he could. "Uh...I got a hairline fracture and the muscles in my shoulder are inflammed..."

Bo nodded. "Yeah I'm fine..."

Bo nodded, looking over the x-rays. "Yeah I'd say the same thing..."

Bo shook his head, sitting in a chair beside Luke's bed to calm himself down. "Don't matter none...I delt with it..." He glance up at the x-rays and whistled low. "Man...Maudine really did a number on your foot huh?"

Bo looked up at him, frowning deeply. "What?" He then realized what his enterance must have been making Luke think and he sighed, shaking his head. "No..No Luke I'm not mad at you...I'm mad at that dang doctor that treated me..obnoxious jerk..."

The doctor nodded with a smile to him and headed out the room, making some notes on her clipboard. Luke however was to be given no peace as Bo stormed into the room, a face on him that could rival the darkest storm clouds, his shoulder and arm imoblizied.

The doctor nodded with a small chuckle. "I've had that done since you mentioned your daughter. And I can't wait to meet Jaime, she sounds very nice. I'll have the anethatist come up and talk with you as well as the surgeon to explain a few things a little later. Meantime, just give those painkillers time to work."

The doctor nodded in understanding as Luke explained. "Oh I see...okay then...well your all done...I assume i'll be meeting with your daughter sometime later today?"

The doctor nodded, looking to him. "And how about her mother? I'll bet she's just as pretty..."

But, as is true with Duke timing, just then Joe ran past them and vaulted onto his own horse, swinging the reins up into his hands and taking off without a second glance back to his cousin....soon followed by the sherriff on his own horse, calling out to Joe. "You get back here! I'm gonna throw you in the jail!"

The doctor nodded "Well that's a pretty name...come on I want details....age, looks, brains..."

The nurse looked up at him, smiling. "Oh you have a daughter? What's her name?"
