  1. Bo grinned a little in silence thinking of all the times they had done that...well not him really...he hated doctors and didn't want any of them coming near him when he didn't need it. Playing the sick card was more Luke's forte than his...his was just to play hooky from school when he wanted to.
  2. Bo laughed, nodding. "You got that right...maybe he won't complain so much about havin' to be here now..."
  3. Bo nodded, settling back in his chair. "He'll be fine..."
  4. The nurse smiled and watched as he fell quickly into a deep sleep, holding the mask there for as long as the anethatist said to before wheeling him off to the operating theatre.
  5. The doctor nodded "Alright then...let's get this over and done with shall we so you can get outta here that much quicker." She smiled and took the mask from the anethatist, gently but firmly holding it over Luke's mouth and nose* "Alright...start breathing deep and then I want you to count to 5 for me, slowly..."
  6. Jerimiah stepped forward and gently kissed her cheek. "Well if it ain't little Lorraine Davenport...well I ain't seen you in an age, certainly didn't recognise ya when ya showed up with Hank there..."
  7. The doctor looked over at the anethetist who nodded a little before looking back to Luke. "Well basically, we're gonna put what is similar to an oxygen mask over your nose and mouth...i'll ask you to breathe in nice and deep and count to 5 for me...next thing you know you'll be wakin' up with yer family around ya..."
  8. The doctor laughed a little, shaking her head. "Oh no, no husband as of yet. My carrer keeps me pretty busy..."
  9. Bo chuckled and patted his shoulder before leaving the room as Uncle Jesse hugged Luke gently, whispering some words of reassurance to him before slipping out to the waiting room with Bo. The doctor smiled and settled down on the bed beside Luke as the anethitist prepared his equipment. "Well we managed to isolate the problem and what you were allergic to...so we've come up with a new solution that does exactly the same but will have a normal effect on you with little side effects."
  10. For a while, the three occupants of the room just chatted softly amoungst each other before his female doctor and the anethitist returned. The doctor smiled and left the door open. "Right, we've got to get you prepped for surgery so....i'm gonna have to ask anyone who's not a patient to leave..." Bo nodded as did Jesse, squeezing Luke's hands and whispering with a wink. "I don't think I gotta worry about what uh...capable hands your in huh..."
  11. Jerimiah was in the kitchen of the farm with his wife, getting lunch all prepaired as they usually did when he saw Hank and Fly ride up, carrying a pretty young girl with him. He shook his head with a smile and looked to his wife. "Better set an extra place...Hank's caught another one..."
  12. Bo sighed and nodded. "I'll be right here when you get out..."
  13. Bo sighed and gently squeezed Luke's shoulder. "C'mon brother...it could be worse..."
  14. Bo nodded "Uncle Jesse's right...like I said I can pick up the slack till your better an you know Cooter'll help out...plus Jaime ain't gonna be too worried by a broken foot...more'n likely she'll wanna know your alright an' then'll be helpin' take care of ya.."
  15. Bo nodded, sitting on the bed beside Luke, careful of his foot. "Course it is...they are trying to make you better here Luke..."
  16. Bo nodded. "And also, if they find out what you allergic to, then they can make sure that its on your records and you never have to have those kind of bad reactions again..."
  17. Bo frowned. "Blood work? What did they wanna do bloodwork for?"
  18. Bo nodded gently, smiling softly as he put his good hand on Luke's shoulder. "I know how ya feel..."
  19. Bo sighed and took a deep breath before letting it out and heading into the room, following Uncle Jesse with a smile.
  20. Bo sighed and nodded, running a hand down his face. "Yeah I know it..."
  21. Bo's jaw practically fell open as Jesse spoke to him....how was it that at the last minute Jesse could pull something out of the hat that the boys had thought they had gotten away with...it was like he had a radar that could tell what the boys were trying to get away with. "I'm sorry Uncle Jesse...I just...snapped....he was telling me Luke needed a psychological evaluation...tried to get me to admit I was in a violent family relationship with him and basically said that denying it was the first sign...He wouldn't listen to a dang word I was saying..."
  22. Bo nodded and led the way back to Luke's room, glad that obviously his Uncle hadn't been told about the actions he had taken against the doctor who had treated him.
  23. Bo glanced up at the time and frowned, thinking the doctors should have been done with Luke by now. "Hey Uncle Jesse...maybe we should get back to Luke...I know he's real worried about this..."
