Jaime rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "Soon as she came in...I was only dozin' an' I was gonna sit up until you two started talkin'...sheesh Dad why can't ya just ask her out the easy way...by saying 'I like ya, go out with me?'

Joe clenched his jaw...he had heard enough. Nodding his head to his friend, he pulled away from him and headed back towards the doors...now he needed to not only find a way to tell this to Hank...but to also prove it to him...

The doctor nodded and headed out of the room. Jaime sighed and sat up. "Finally..."

Joe swallowed hard, looking to his friend he had been pretending to talk to with wide eyes....that wasn't just any Frank and Jesse...this was Frank and Jesse James...the notorious James brothers...

The doctor chuckled as she nodded, standing up from where she had been sitting on the edge of the bed. "Yeah that's a moment shared by many frustrated women...anyway, I best get moving to get your foot casted. I'll be back up with the stuff to do it very soon..."

The doctor sighed and shook her head, gently putting Jaime's arm back where is had been before. "Well not all of us are but we do have our moments..."

The doctor nodded gently - she could understand that. Many cheerleaders prided themselves and the team they led on looks rather than actual talent and no matter what the coach said - it was the girls decision in the end as they were the ones who had to work with the new person. "I can understand that unfortunatly...."

Joe swallowed, hating the fact that he had been right...usually he would have lorded over the fact he found something Hank hadn't...but right now he felt awful...Hank was going to get his heart broken...

The doctor looked to him with raised eyebrows, gently picking up Jaime's limp wrists and looking over the scars softly.

The doctor chuckled, nodding softly as she looked the young girl over with kind eyes before noticing the scars on her wrists. "They look like they were nasty...what happened..."

Joe managed to stay out of Lorraine's sight, knowing she would check around to make sure no one was following her and so hiding quietly in the shadows. As she went into the hotel, he tied Dixie's horse up in the shadows and headed inside, keeping his hat low as he pretended to talk with one of his friends who worked there, listening in on the conversation.

The doctor bit her bottom lip a little, narrowing her eyes slightly but nodded. "I'll see what I can do...meantime...is this Jaime?"

The doctor raised her eyebrow with a small nod. "It's possible...but then again that may not guarentee a house call...and I am usually very busy during the day..."

The doctor glanced back to him. folding her arms with a sly grin of her own. "Well its not generally what I'm assigned to no...but who knows...maybe if it was REALLY important..."

The doctor looked to him with a smile. "Well...your ready to be all casted up...and then you should be able to get outta here by tomorrow afternoon...possibly the morning if I ask nicely..."

That was how the doctor found them when she came in a few hours later. They had fallen asleep together, just holding each other gently and supportivly. Bo, Jesse and Daisy had all returned to the farm, knowing Luke would be okay and would come back to get Jaime when visiting hours were up which they nearly were. She quietly walked over to Luke and started to check his foot to see how the swelling was doing.

Joe however was a different matter. As soon as he had heard the conversation and the hushed words Lorraine had managed to keep Hank from hearing, he had tacked up Dixie's horse - as Fly and Splinter were out of action - and hidden her laying down in her stable. As soon as Lorraine had taken off he had hurried to the stall and soon was heading off quickly after her. He was determined to find out what she was really about...

Joe watched from Splinter's stall where he was looking after his horse. The doctor had been and gone after stitching Splinter's leg up, but Joe had stayed with Splinter to soothe him and help him and so had heard everything that had gone on...including being close enough to hear Lorraine's muttered comments....he sensed something not quiet right with Lorraine and was determined to find out what before Hank got himself into trouble... Lucinda smiled over to Lorraine, shaking her head. "It's perfectly alright dear..."

Jaime rested her head against him softly, letting herself feel the love that Luke had to offer her. "I love you too Daddy..."

Fly didn't look back to him, going and laying down in a part of the stall that was away from him, keeping her back turned on him.

Fly whinyed at him loudly, kicking the stall door before turning her back on him.

Jaime didn't say anything, just continued to hug her own middle while her long hair hung down the sides of her face.

Fly, seeing Lorraine, quickly backed away snorting and stamping her front feet on the ground.

Jaime shook her head. "Just a bunch o'girls with opinions..."

Jaime shrugged, turning away from him a little. "Don't matter....s'just a stupid team you didn't want me on anyway..."
