Dusty Rose Duke

Dusty's eyes went wide when she saw him. "Wow Luke, I'll have to say that is my favorite colour." Dusty said with a grin. "You know Luke if weren't cousins, I'd marry you?" Dusty said as a joke which made Luke laugh. "Well MoonSong, that hasn't stopped anyone in this family before." Luke said as he grinned back at her. "You have a point there Cuz." Dusty smiled. "I like that suit on you though." Dusty said as she commented it. Dusty's facial expression went from happy to sad in a instant. She got to thinking when saw another man in a suit like that. She saw Cooter all dressed up in a suit for her going away party. They got to dance one last time with her. Luke knew exactly what the sad face was about. He knew that Dusty was missing Cooter Davenport and he wished he could do something to cheer her up. Cue runningwild

Dusty looked at Rebecca and grinned. "Ok Rebecca he's alright. Just stubborn, and muled head. But so is every Duke in our family." Dusty said as she smiled. Cue dukesrule2000

Dusty grinned at her cousin. "Luke it probably does. You see that's what you get when you walk into another mans fist." Dusty said with a cheeky grin on her face. Luke had to cluch his side because laughing really did hurt ribs. "Luke I told you don't laugh! Your ribs are hurt bad enough!" Dusty said with a grin but with a sarcastic voice. Cue dukesrule2000

"Rosco P. Coltrane don't you tell me not to worry about my cousins and be mad at you, when you knew full well that I wanted to kill Zach Williams and I still do." Dusty said wtih fire swimming in her blue eyes. "ANybody have a Colt .45 in their possesion right now?" Dusty asked the group. Dusty was on cloud nine. Rosco went got a drink for Dusty and himself. Dusty was smiling when Vance walked over grimed faced. Everybody in Hazzard knew that Luke, Dusty, and Vance were the closest of Duke cousins because they were the oldest ones. "Dusty, Bo just called me! It seems Luke calapsed at the farm and as a couple of broken ribs." Vance told her. Dusty put a hand to her mouth. "Vance, how did Luke get broken ribs in the first place?" Dusty asked in a whisper. "He had being in fight with Zack Williams!" Vance said in a calm voice. Dusty just stared a head, her gave way to an ice blue fire. "I'M GOING TO KILL ZACK WILLIAMS WITH MY BARE HANDS!" Dusty laid her haed on Rosco's shoulder as he spun her around on the dance floor. "Oh Rosco I'm so happy for Luke and kathy. They really deserve one another." Dusty said with a smile as she looked up at her husband's brown eyes. "Yea honey they really do." Rosco said as he smiled down at her. As they danced, Dusty looked and saw Enos and Daisy dancing together. She tapped her husband on the back and he turned and looked at them, then he looked back down at his wife and grinned at Dusty as they con'd to dance. Cue dukesrule2000

Dusty drove Luke back to Amara's. Luke was still silent. As she stopped the car and turned and Luke. "Hello in there, where are you Luke?" Dusty said as she tried to get Luke's attention. "In world where it's lonely and cold." Luke told Dusty. "Luke it will get better someday." Dusty said to her cousin as she opened her door and got out. Luke waited for amoment before following Dusty. He wondered how Dusty got to be so smart. Then he remebered that she went through this too. She went through more hell then he did. He got out of the car, both he and Dusty walked inside. "Well Cassie must be waitting for," Luke said. Dusty smiled and pushed him forward. Dusty looked around the store in search of Enos. She walke over to Cassie and Luke. "I'm sorry to interrupted Luke, but Cassie have you seen Enos? I've looked around and around this store and can't find him, do you know where he is? In hour and a half we have to be at work and was wondering if you knew if he was around?" Dusty asked Cassie. Dusty couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Cue runningwild

Dusty managed to catch up with Luke and ahe put him her car and showed him the CIty of Angles. "Dusty, how can you and Enos live out her away from your family back in Hazzard?" Luke asked his cosin as they got hot dogs from a vendor and went to sit on the open beach looking over the oncean. "We had to go where the money was good Luke. We make more here in LA, then we did as Deputeys back in Hazzard County." Dusty said with a small smile. Every time she thought about Hazzard, she would think about her "Crazy C", her Cooter Davenport. "I wonder who that look is for?" Luke asked with a mischieveious gleam in his eyes. Dusty began to blush. "I'll will admit that I miss Cooter!" Dusty said with a chuckle as she her older cousin act like a five year old. "What else?" Luke prompted. Dusty started to giggle. "Ok, ok, I love Cooter and I miss him very much. Hey what can I say, I am his little "Cherokee Baby"!" Dusty said with a hughe grin. "Jsut as long as you are happy cuz, then I'm happy." Luke said seriously. Dusty looked at him for a moment. "But not enough to admit that your still in love with Cassie and that you are not able to forgive her yet, am I right so far?" Dusty asked her cousin. Luke just stared at the oncean. "Luke, when the time is right, you'll know!" Dusty said as she kissed Luke's cheek and laid her head on his shoulder and look out at the oncean with him. Cue runningwild

Dusty sighed. "Oh Juice I'm sorry! It's just Hughie as me all frustrated. I just want him out of my life." Dusty said with a small smile. Cue Julieduke

Dusty looked at her sister for a minute. "Juice, you seem to be forgetting one little detail,We don't look a thing a like." Dusty proclaimed. Cue Julieduke

Dusty was leaning against her car Ridge Runner trying to catch her breath. Her family and friends made a circle around her when they caught up with her, which made Hiughie even more angry with Dusty. Before Hughie took off, she gave him a smug smileon her face. "I know Juice, but waht am I goin to do? Why can't Hughie just leave me alone?" Dusty said in a frustrated voice. She was so frustrated that she kicked the General and started hopping up and down on one foot. It had everyone in stitches. Cue Julieduke

Dusty smile at Kathy and noticed that she was really nervous. "Kathy don't worry you goin to be just fine." Dusty said with a grin. She noticed how Kathy looked. "Kathy this is going to be the wedding that we'll all remember." Dusty stated. Cue dukesrule2000

Dusty looked up at her cousin and her best friend. She blushed and grined at the same time. "Why do you guys have to get me to turn red?" Dusty said she playfully slapped both Enos and Luke. "Because it's more fun that way." Enos and Luke said at the same time. They always liked joking with her. They could tease her and not affend her. "Luke, I know you don't want to her this, but it needs to be said. Luke we have to forgive Cassie for what happened." Dusty said sincerly. Luke looked at her with a calm expression. "Cuz, when time or day comes for to forgive Cassie, then I will. But until then it's just a difficult past." Luke said as he walked out the door to get some fresh air. Enos looked down at Dusty in his arms. "Dizzy honey don't worry. Luke will be ok." Enos said with a smile. "I know Enos. But I can't help but worry that is one lonely road that Ol' Luke is walking." Dusty said as she hugged Enos one last time and ran outside to show Luke around. Cue runnignwild

Dusty started walking. But what she didn't know was that Hugie noticed she was gone and told his men to double back. Dusty looked and saw Hughie's car coming back. "Oh no!" Dusty exclaimed under her breath. She started to run up the road. Just then The General Lee driven by: Bo and Luke, Ridge Runner driven by her sister: Julie Anne, Johnny Reb driven by: Rosco, then followed by Cooter, Daisy and Enos, then Uncle Jesse. Dusty saw them and started to wave her arms frantically. All of sudden she fell to the ground. She got back up and started to sprint towards the people she loved. Cue Julieduke

"Kathy, seriously wonder what is goin on with our guys?" Dusty asked while her eyes gleamed. "It's really not fair that I can't be with my husband and baby son." Dusty said as she mock pouted. "Again Kathy this all your fault." Dusty sent another mock glare her way. Cue dukesrule2000

"OH NY GOD! THE TIM MCGRAW?" Dusty said really exicted. "Kathy I so play hate you right now!" Dusty said with a hughe smile. Dusty wasnot going to able to concertrate now. "Thank you very much Kathy! You got my heart beating out of my chest." Dusty said with a mock glare. Cue dukesrule2000

Dusty watched Luke and Kathy together and they reminded her of Diasy and Enos. Rosco took Dusty's hand in his and held it. "Well, Luke and Kathy's wedding is almost here." Rosco said with a smile. "Ya. Let's just hope that they have no more problems." Dusty said in a stern voice. Dusty was going to stranggle Zach Williams when she saw him next. And will take Rosco, Enos, Bo, Coy, and Vance to hold her back. Cue dukesrule2000

Dusty smiled at her best friend. "Enos how in the world did you get to be so smart?" Dusty with grin as she watched Enos grin back at her. "I believe with all my heart that you and Daisy were ment to be together. I knew it since we were kids. But Cassie, at one time she was my best friend. And I loved her like a sister. But how do you forgive a life time of pain that she put me and Luke through? She not only lied and left Luke, but she also lied to me. Enos, how do you forgive that?" Dusty said as a few tears slid down her cheeks. "Dizzy, I know you've had a rough life. You watched Luke after Cassie left, drown his sourows in the bottle. But you honey," Enos stopped for a minute and wiped her tears away and grined at her. "You honey, brought Luke out of the darkness. You helped him go on. Just like I did with you." Enos said sincerly. He took her in his arms and held her. "But Enos, how can I forgive Cassie all of that?" Dusty asked with head on Enos's chest. "I do, I really do want to forgive her for what she did. But everytime we're together, and the words are on the tip of my tounge, I can't bring myself to say them. Because the past catches up with me, and all I see is the pain she put my family through, namely Luke." Dusty said sincerly as well. Dusty really, honestly, and truely wanted to forgive Cassie, but didn't know wher to start. cue runningwild

Luke looked back from Enos to Cassie than back again. "Dusty honey I just got to get my suit measurements and then I'm all yours." Luke said with a grin. "I'm in no hurry. I can wait." Dusty said with a smile. As she watched Luke toward the back she saw Cassie look at her. Uncle Jesse told all his niece's and nephew's that the past was the past. And there was no use deweling over it. But sometimes the past can come back to hurt ya and Luke was her cousin and she loved him dearly. She didn't want to see Luke hurt badly like he was the last time. "Dusty honey, you're not still sore at Cassie are ya?" Enos said as he broke her train of thought. "Oh Enos in away I am. But I somehow can't help but feel sorry for her for doin what she did." Dusty sighed. "But Enos she hurt my cousin dearly. It's just hard to forgive someone, somtimes." Dusty said. "Well if that's the case then why did you forgive Hughie Hogg!" Enos said sincerly as walked toward the back where Cassie and Luke were. Dusty thought about what her best friend just said. Why did she forgive Hughie Hogg? It was something that Uncle Jesse said that caused her to forgive Hughie. "Sometimes we want to hate somoen so much that eats our insides. But we can't go around hatin somebody. That would be passin judgement. And baby, we don't pas that. That was intended for the good Lord to see fit. He would want us to forgive, right?" With Dusty, those words stuck with her. He was right. We shouldn't hate but love thy neighbour. But why was it so dang hard to do? Dusty looked at the back room wonderin if Luke was ok? Dusty said some pertty mean things to Cassie since she founded here. She had to get Cassie alone so she could appoligize. And that's what she was going to do. cue runningwild

Dusty blushed. "Shoot Jason, nobody ever said anything like that before to me." Dusty said with a grin. "But from you I'll take it as compliment." Dusty said as she flirted back with him. Jason Lee Hunter a.k.a Norris, just laughed. "You always flirt with people you help?" Jason a.k.a Norris said as he closed the distance between them. "No." Dusty said with a grin. "No?" Norris said softly as he put his arms around her and drew her close. "Just the ones I like." Dusty said with a grin as she wrapped her arms around Norris's neck. "I like that." Norris said as he brought his lips down on hers. "MMM..so do I." Dusty said with a grin as she got closer to him. After they broke apart Dusty looked at him. "Well now that you're all hooked up," Dusty said. "Oh ya I'm hooked up." Norris said grin as he nibbled her neck. "Jason, stop that." Dusty said as she giggled. "As I was saying, you hop into Ridge Runner and we'll take your car to Cooters Garage." Dusty said with a big grin. Both Dusty and Norris jumped into Ridge Runner at he same time and took off dor town. Cue Julieduke

Dusty Rose and Julie Anne Duke were the best in the Duke family. "Well Little sister it's good to see you." Dusty said with a smile and hugged her. Dusty cherished her sister. Dusty didn't know what she would do if somthing happened to her and vice versea. "You missed Boss Hogg runnin out of here like the scared little hogg he is." Dusty said with a big grin plastered on her face. Dusty was thinking of enterin the poker termament but the enternace fee was $300 and Dusty didn't know where she goin to get that kind of money. It was like lookin under a needle in a hay stack. Cue Chet Duke or Julieduke

Dusty was strugglung with Hughie. "Well I see my fun will soon happen again boys." Hughie said as he laughed. Then he watched Dusty break down into tears. Dusty saw only one clear chance. When the car rounded a sharp turn, Dusty opened the back door and jumped out. Hughie didn't notice, execpt his dark haired henchmen. He smiled as he saw that Dusty was alright. Dusty started walking down the same road that Rosco and the Dukes and Cooter and Enos were coming down. Cue Julieduke

Lyin Eyes! Summary: Hughie Hogg comes back to town and does seeky tricks. But this time he won't be pulling the shuck and jive, it will be one of his hitchmen, Norris. And the person set up for the fall, Our very own Dusty Rose Duke. Will she be able to see that Norris as those Lyin Eyes? The day was warm and peace full. Dusty was on her way to town to pick up some stuff for Uncle Jesse. Ridge Runner was makin Dust. All of a sudden there was the sound of siren. Dusty turned around and Cletus closeing in on her. "Ahh Cletus what are you doi? I wasn't speedin?" Dusty said into her cb. "Sorry Dusty but I have to give you a ticket." Cletus said. "well there's only one to loose you Cletus." Dusty said with a grin. She let Cletus follow her all the way to Hazzard Pond. Dusty jumped Ridge Runner clean, but Cletus missed a couple of feet and went into the pond. Dusty stopped long enogh to check and see he was alright then she went to town. Mean while in one of Boss Hogg's fishin cabins, there were the goins on of a meetin. "Boys, we have a perfect scheme. Instead of tryin to scheme Uncle Boss, we'll scheme the Dukes. And I know just the perfect one." Hughie Hogg said as he held up a picture. "This is who we'll shuck and jive." Hughie said with an evil grin. "We'll put those Dukes away for good." Flyod said. Flyod was tall with blond hair, brown eyes and mustche. "I think she's kinda cute." Norris said with a goofy grin. Norris was the same height as Hughie, with black hair and brown eyes. "Good Norris, it's great you think that because you are going to shuck and Jive her." Hughie's eyes gleamed. "Boss, she'll recongnize him." Flyod protested. "She hasn't seen him every much. But she's seen you." Hughie Stated. Hughie gave Norris the nod and Norris took off for the car parked out beside the cabin. It was 68 ford Mustang. Norris took off in search of Dusty. Dusty was coming down Ol' Mill Road to get to town. Norris saw her coming. He was glad that Flyod had caused the engine to break down. Dusty saw this Mustang come toward her. The mustang stopped and the driver got out through the window. She brought Ridge Runner to a stop. She climed out through the window and went over to see if she could help. "Hey, you need some help with your car?" Dusty asked trying to be neighborly. "Ya! Man, I sure like to know what is wrong with this engine..?" Norris said as he got up from under the hood and look at Dusty. "Hellooo Gorgeous." Norris said with smile. Dusty giggled. "I'm not gorgeous my name is Duty Rose Duke." Dusty introduced her self with a smile. "Well my name is Jason Lee Hunter." Norris said with a grin. "Tell you what, I have a best friend in town who is a wiz with cars. I'll tow you in with Ridge Runner here and see what he can do with your car." Dusty said with a grin. "I guess I havn't got anything to loose." Norris said as he watched Dusty work. Hes was going to enjoy Shuckin and Jivin Dusty Rose Duke. Cue Anybody

Dusty felt proud that she put her nephew in his place this time. She loved Chet with all her heart, but sometimes Chet could be just as stubbern as his father. And even Bo was stubbern and mule headed most of the time. Bo was her cousin but sometimes he made her so angry she could just spit nails. Coco was enjoying herself. She seemed to enjoy going as fast as she can. As Dusty and Coco came to the farm, Dusty saw a wagon she recongnized from town. Also a black stallion that looked familer. She tied Coco to the hitching post and went inside to see what this was all about. Dusty went inside. She saw the family in the living room having a heated discussion with non other than Boss Hogg. Boss Hogg was the richest man in the county. But he had one thing wrong with him, Boss Hogg was crookeder than a fifty cent piece. He controlled everything form the saloon to the general store. He also controlled the sheriff. But the only reason he controlled Rosco was because Boss Hogg married Rosco's fat sister Lulu. "Now Jesse I'm givin you a fine deal for this land." J.D. said. "And I told you to stuff your deal. I'm not selling my land!" Jesse said. That's Jesse Duke, he's the leader of the Duke family. " J.D. we have no where else to go." Martha explained with tears. "But Martha, I'm goin to give you the Reynolds place free of charge." J.D. said sweetly. "Boss, everyone knows how you fore closed on them, sent them packin." Bo said through cluched teeth. Dusty smiled and shook her head. That was Chet if she ever saw it. "You don't care about us Boss, al you want is the land for one of your schemes." Luke stated calmly. "And what ever scheme your tryin to pull Boss, it ain't gonna work here, so why don't you just git." Dusty said as she walked into the living room. Dusty gave Boss Hogg a dull expression. But what sent the look of fera on Boss's face, was Blue fire gleam in her sapphire blue eyes. "You know what Dusty honey, I change my mind. Ya, I can always git some other land, I don't need this one. Jesse, come see Lulu and me somethime." J.D. said. He stood there for a minute. "Bye!" Boss said as he rushed out of the house. Rosco right behind him. He only stopped to give her a wink then rush out door to follow Boss. The whole Duke family were laughing until tears were roling down their cheeks. "We can laugh now guys. But I wouldn't do it for to long. It may have worked this, But next time, we may not just git a next time!" Dusty said as she walked out of the house and Coco to the barn.
