dixierebel, I'll probably just hang out here at the house, watch a little football, drink a little moonshine, and just enjoy the time off. Me and wifey may go out for a while, then come back home for some extra curricular activities. We'll see what happens.........
I agree. There was just something about the California setting that didn't quite fit. I realize that now, but back in the day, as a younger kid watching the show, I didn't know they had moved. Should have stayed in Georgia, but I can understand why they moved.
It's hard for me to say exactly why he is so funny. Maybe it's in the way he tried to "be bad" but, deep down, he was a good hearted person and it showed through in the end. His schemes were just plain goofy and he got his own way most of the time. Rosco is one of a kind for sure. In my opinion, Rosco was critical to making that show work. The way he and boss Hogg played off one another was priceless and probably couldn't be duplicated by anyone but Rosco P. Coltrane.
Wow, that's too bad. Isn't our show the most watched on CMT? Surely, the big doggs at the network wouldn 't even think about making a move.....let's support it all we can.
Another new person here, This looks like a fun site to read and talk about our favorite show. I've read through many of the threads but have just never posted until now. During a hectic workday, it's great to be able to escape to Hazzard County for a while. later
