True but I remember when /king Richard was hot in NASCAR and I was like, 8, 9 yrs. old.....doing the math that's 50 yrs. ago ( I'm 59) , then he would've been all that at 37! -
The trio correctly identified the square as the filming location of 'The Music Man' and 'The Gilmore Girls' (both already mentioned in this thread), and then Cathy says "and then didn't they film, um, Opie, uh, what's that, not Happy Days, um ...". She never finished the sentence and never mentioned Andy Griffiths, but it's fair to assume that that's what she was referring to as Ron Howard's character was Opie Taylor (and he was in 'Happy Days'). Exteriors for "The Andy Griffith Show" were mainly filmed at the RKO 40 Acres/Desilu backlot in Culver City, about 45 minutes south of the Warner Bros' backlot. I can't find any evidence of Andy Griffith filming in Burbank. The video below shows what's now standing where the backlots were, and mentions several other shows and movies that were filmed there. It also shows the former Desilu Studios in Hollywood. There's a brief Dukes tie-in at around 12:32 when they show a still of James Best from the 1959 movie 'Verboten!'.

It's a similar model early '50s Ford F-1 truck, but I very much doubt that it anything to do with Sanford and Son. I can't see any connection between Sanford and Son and Warner Brothers. The truck is also in very good condition and has a red grille, whereas the Sanford and Son truck was tatty with a silver grille. While it could've be restored, I've read that the Sandford and Son truck was bought by a real-life junk yard owner.

Looks like a 1975/76 Plymouth Fury, like some of the patrol cars.

HossC... The audio and on camera commentaries of Season 3 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' by Tom Wopat (Luke Duke), John Schneider (Bo Duke) and Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) mentions some of The Andy Griffith Show was filmed at the Hazzard Square set. Is it true?
