id like to be the guy who has to make new road barriers from everytime the general jumps over something. that guy must be rolling in cash!!

i love the fact that they find the general lee in a lake. they tow it out and restore it. i think it beats the whole "happy birthday general lee" story.

well harland williams and christopher macdonald both have a good load of comedies under there belt so i think there going to truthful to the tv show

thanks but you should read other posts. its been known for awhile that theres a second straight to dvd prequel.

i for one like the fact that the cars begininngs are changed. if they did the same story as the show i wouldnt really wanna watch it. i for one like seeing new dukes of hazzard stories...even if there wrong from the show. as long as its not full of plot holes or that it isnt realistic or there really dirty. i hope bo and luke work summer jobs to pay for the general. it would make sense cause we the regular people have to do that. and i dont really care if the flag is not on the car till the end. i dont think there going to just name it general lee right after they get it. id like a story as to why they named it that, and why the flags on the roof. i was just wondering though. in "happy birthday general lee" why do they name it general lee??? ive seen all the episodes but i always miss this when its on tv and i forgot. could someone help me on that.

whoa. you must really really not have liked the movie. i for one enjoyed it and seriously who cares if the general lee had a cd or mp3 player and the wrong steering wheel and stick. i found it an improvment.

watch an episode....you know pretty much from the beginning that the dukes are going to A)be framed by hogg B)get in trouble with boss hogg and they work together to solve there problem. there other thing i was kinda wierd on was that hazzard was like the crime capital of the world...every week some dumb crooks just happen to go thru hazzard and start trouble. also you always know that everything turns out fine every episode. theres never much surprise value to it. i wasnt trying to diss the show...its always been my favorite.

two words for the sequel...huggie hogg!! the huggie episodes where among my favorite plus it was good to see boss and the dukes work together

i loved the movie..i will always love the tv show. but u just cant put a perfect copy of the tv into a movie. i watched the show when i was a kid,but now its gotten pretty corny and predictable. if WB wanted to make any money on this movie and appeal to a younger crowd they had to make a bunch of changes. i was happy with all the changes. the movie was more serious then the tv show. plus the show took place in the 70's which was a way different time then today. the only things i didnt like about the movie are this 1. roscoe threatens jesse with his gun(in the show roscoe never did...and when he did his hand was moving so much that he couldnt hit the side of a barn) 2. the drugs didnt have to be in there. 3.roscoe never chased the dukes at all...unless you count the 5 secs before his flat tire. thats just my view. and ive been a big fan all my life..and will always be...
