  1. I just find it funny they would rather buy a similar plant instead of putting in a few minutes of sweaty work. I'm pretty much done with it. I'd love to save the rose of Sharons but nobody wants them so I guess they go in the dumpster. I've had my fill of dealing with the house and people. Just glad the new owners have a lawnmower and will be mowing it themselves.

  2. I find it astounding that I can't give plants away for one reason, people would have to dig them up. New owners are finally taking possession of a house I mowed last year and they are going to redo the landscaping and what I don't take myself will be going into a dumpster. Keep hearing from people yeah I want free plants cool, oh I have to dig them up nevermind. Your going to have to dig a hole anyway if you buy the same plant from a nursery. It's maddening. Some of the plants go for about $30 and garden stores and nursery's.

I watched this video on the new Charger EV last night. The overall view is that it's too expensive and too heavy (and possibly too big), but there will be regular gas engines in the future (at least a V6, maybe a V8). Doug thought it had some good features, but the comments were less kind (made by people who presumably haven't even seen it let alone driven it yet). There's a nice picture of the 2-door version in orange at about 4 minute in.

It will soon be powered by the Hemi V8 again. Stellantis will be making the 5.7, 6.4 and hellcat V8s in Ann arbor Michigan. Sales of the electric Charger have been abysmal and it seems the guys in charge of Dodge don't think the hurricane 6 engine won't do much better for Charger sales so they're working on getting the V8 back under the hood.

I seen a video the other day on YouTube where the Charger was raced against the Mustang dark horse. Next to the mustang the charger looked huge. It didn't do all that well either. Between the 2 guys one definitely has raced cars before and knew how to drive as he won the race in both cars. 1st race he was in the Charger and didn't really blow the mustang away as you'd expect from an electric car. 2nd race he was in the Mustang, while off the line the charger was ahead he eventually caught up and passed the Charger.

In other news Camaro could be coming back. GM reps confirmed Chevy will be the car for V8 Supercars and NASCAR and they confirmed it wouldn't be a Corvette.

I hope you get to feeling better bud!

For me it finally went away around 6pm Saturday. Wife's finally went away Sunday morning.

Tomorrow and Wednesday will be very spring like with temps in the upper 60's then Thursday a dusting of snow has been forecasted for the 1st day of spring

Only thing that wasn't green on me today were my jeans and shoes

  5. Dodge is rumored to be returning to NASCAR. First in the truck series in 2026 with the Ram 1500 then the following year with the Charger coupe in Cup and Xfinity series. It is unknown if they will go with a V8 or make a race engine with the new i6 engine.

What did I miss that was so horrible about it other than Joey Logano wrecking Chase Elliott at the end?

I missed it due to being out and my antennae not working, but I think I fixed it. We will see next Sunday.  But I think it's amazing that the 24 car is back in Victory Lane for the second year in a row. It was great to see Jeff Gordon celebrating at the end too. Though he wasn't too happy with Joey Logano's move that wrecked the 9 car. (Either am I...) Though I am excited with Jimmie Johnson's third place finish.

A certain spray tan addict had to stroke his tiny ego and forced NASCAR to delay the start till he arrived and lapped the track

William Byron winning back to back Daytona 500's was pretty cool.
