  1. I already have trees on the model- one is the big shade tree to the left of the garage.
  2. Roger that is amazing and fun! I've giving a lot of thought to the same concept over the last couple years, but I've been thinking of it more along the lines of how a new series would be constructed. A new series would have to be both a familiar formula and not a rehash at the same time. I like your character ideas- very similar to what I thought would be. I considered the idea of Bo or Luke's kids being girls to add that modern day twist. They could be the kind that drive the boys crazy, but never let them go 'too far' as it were. I liked the idea of certain landmarks being mostly the same as we saw them in the old show- specifically the Boar's Nest and Cooter's Garage. And if you look at the Hazzard Square today (Warner studio backlot), very little has changed. They would of course have to rebuild Cooter's Garage! One idea that is dear to my heart is that Cooter should be the new 'Balladeer'. He would be the perfect narrator, constantly telling stories about the good old days (the old series) and tying those stories to the new situation. After all, he's "seen it all" in Hazzard! And to answer pkoorse's question- I think Huey Hogg could be the new county commissioner!

  4. All three of them very very busy the entire show; Jon and Tom only got a chance to look briefly but we're very complimentary.

  6. This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Jon, Tom, and Cathy at a local convention featuring various movie and TV celebrities. The con folks let me set up my Hazzard Garage model near the 'Dukes' tables. Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr More photos to follow.
  7. Rhuebottom's is coming along! Untitled by mommydawn2000, on Flickr
  8. You'll be very happy with the quality of his castings- I was amazed.

  10. Sounds pretty good- the last time I bought it, I got version 12 on eBay for about $25. I believe it was a used original copy.
  11. I use CorelDraw exclusively. I'd suggest buying an older copy as the current versions can be quite expensive. I import screen captures from the show and draw directly over them, then find some element as a scale reference- for instance, the size of a standard door is around 80 inches. You then enlarge everything to fit, and/or down to the correct model scale (80 inches in 1/25 is 3.2 inches) and print. You won't get it 100% perfect, but very close.
  12. L.B. and B.B. Davenport just filled in when Cooter was 'out of town'- it was only for a few episodes each I believe.
