Went to a Brad Paisley concert last night in Tampa; in addition to it being a great show, the title song from his new album has a nice little Dukes tribute.  Take a look at the chorus below.  I've said for long time that a new Dukes series should have Brad Paisley music in it; this song could be the new theme!

Thanks for that, Mark. I'm not a huge fan of most modern Country music, but this one avoided the clichés and had a great banjo. To save people searching, here's the video:

 

 

I'm not the only one who finds some modern Country music formulaic. I found this video earlier in the year, but never got around to posting it, It's a mashup of six recent (2013/2014) songs. I don't think we've seen it on HNet before.

 

 

There is lot of formula in modern music of a lot of genres; the same can be said for movies, etc.  But I guess if you like something, you want more of the same, correct? 

 

And another side note- I can't believe I didn't notice this before, but the album cover uses the 'Dukes' font (slightly squished) on the 'Moonshine in the Trunk' bumper sticker!
