I'm so excited!!!

My wife's not a big Dukes fan but she's excited too because she loves movies like this!

When I first heard about it, I was thinking "Oh, well, maybe I'll catch it." But after watching the trailer, I'm really excited to watch it.

I am so glad that y'all posted about it, or I would have never known about it. I watched the trailer and it looks like it will be a fun movie. I have to go to my Grandma's to watch it because we don't get that channel. She likes the Hallmark movies anyways; So we will have a nice little family movie night! I am excited.

I agree!! I love it....I think it is a really cute movie...I sure hope they put it on DVD also....I will buy it!!

I have it recorded on the DVR so I'll check it out Sunday. I did sneak and watch the last five minutes. Shucks, now I know how it ends but I just couldn't resist. Rosco looked great! What an amazing actor. It was so great to see him!

I talked to Teenser tonight and she said it might come out on dvd in a few months. I really enjoyed the movie. Jimmie was great.

I know what you're thinking, Roger Duke only thinks it was awesome because of the Dukes connection but that's not true at all. I really loved it and thought that the writing, directing and acting were all first rate. I enjoyed every minute of it!

But of course the Dukes connections were awesome.

Yes, Redneck Girl, I did see the Bo Duke poster in her room. It was hard to miss. I could also make out John Schneider's autograph. Since that was her room when she was younger I assume she was a Bo fan. Imagine that.......Sheriff Rosco's daughter being in love with a Duke boy! How scandelous!

I also enjoyed hearing Rosco say "I love it. I love it!" and "Good grief!" The first happened when he was playing poker on the sidewalk and the second was later in the movie when they were also on the sidewalk.

I was wondering if Jimmie's real life daughter had a cameo appearence. I see her name listed on the credits (writing and directing I believe) but I thought I saw a customer in the bakery that looked like it might be her.

The Hallmark Channel no longer exists in the UK and Ireland. It was re-branded to Universal Channel in 2010, and now just shows re-runs of programs like 'Law and Order' and 'CSI', so my chances of seeing this movie are virtually nil . I'll have to keep checking schedules and other resources - maybe someone will post it on YouTube.

Hallmark is still running this movie a lot today too. I'm not sure how long they'll continue though.

Thanks. I even checked a UK fan site for Kathryn Morris. There were screengrabs and links to the trailers, but no sign of any information about it being shown in the UK.

Hoss, If i had away to get off my dvr i make copy for ya. It was an awesome movie. I hope they release it soon, but my thought is there going to do what they did with the last movie Michael (jimmy's son-in-law) made. It was almost a year before it came out on dvd.

I have a big smile on my face now thinking about that sheriff turned baker fella.

For some reason Dish Network has channels on and then takes them off and then repeats the process over and over through the years. We just got Hallmark back after it had been gone for 3 months and.... low and behold....The Sweeter Side is showing! 

We just watched it tonight after recording it earlier in the week. Then I went back and checked out all these posts. It is such a great movie!
