i try to write that way too. and that's what makes true music when it does. tho to be honest with you if my songs were strictly about my life (okay mostly between 5th and like 8th grade) i'd almost really be the next true Johnny Cash cause i tell you nothing in my life was worth remembering. i mean hey i probably will write songs about it now since i am in like 11th and my life is a lot happier, but hey music doesn't have to be your life to come from your heart it can be like an opinion but true music does come from the heart. pretty important thing to learn at 13.

Anyway, y'all have fun writting songs and i will too. i'm in the process of writting a song about my roots (Kentuky hills basicaly) my family lived there for at least two generations so it's kinda important to me.

in the reunion, Enos joined in a bar fight to help Bo and Luke at the new Boars Nest and some guy started to pick a fight with him so Enos picked him up and threw him outta window i was like "SWEET, go Enos! bad guy:0 Enos:100"

thanks. i got this idea (Which you'll read about when i post the chapter) that Jed wrote this when Elly was born and all her life has kept the real reason for him writting it from her, but now she's older he lets her know.

im a pretty good writer

glad to see this thread was a success. i know how hard it is to write songs and it's even harder when you don't have anyone to look them over so i'm glad ya'll can post your songs here. they are very good by the way.=]] i started writing when i was very young. i actually would make up little songs when i was in like kindergarden, but i didn't start to write them down until i was about 10 or 11. and i've been hooked ever since. all of my songs come from the heart and i try to tell a story with each one. i'm about as country as it gets with my writing, but i listen to a lot of rock and roll from the 50's and i like bands like McLY and Forever The Sickest Kids too so that comes out in my writing, singing, and playing too . i will try to post some more songs, but this is kinda a spure(spelling?) of the moment song.
