Sara sighed softly before heading back to the room to check on her patient.

As the lack of sleep and the stress of everything going on around him started to kick in more, Bo lost more and more focus on where he was and what he was doing. He could see the truck but couldn\'t figure out why he was heading there....then all of a sudden...the ground seemed to disappear beneath his feet as he tripped on the step up to the sidewalk. He plummetted to the hard concrete below from his 6\'4 height, his head crashing to the ground and plummeting him into the darkness his body had craved as blood trickled from his head to the sidewalk.

The next morning, Luke was talking somewhat openly about his Nam experiences with Sara, doing the best he could in the hopes that he would make Bo crowd.

"I still can't look at a cave without tensing up," he finished, watching as Sara made some notes.

The door opened, a petite blond nurse going to Sara and whispering something in her ear.

Sara looked up quickly from the notes she was making, frowning deeply.

\"What?\"

She listened as the Nurse whispered to her for a longer time before getting quickly to her feet.

\"Luke I have to go and see to this a minute, your doing really really well today i\'m very impressed. Just hang tight for a few minutes okay?\"

She then hurried quickly out the room, following the nurse to Bo\'s room.

Luke swallowed knowing something must be terribly wrong from the look on her face. He dismissed it quickly though, as he waited for Bo to come, excited that again he would be able to tell him of the progress he had made.

It was a fair while before Sara came back, biting her lip and entering the room quietly, shutting the door behind her and taking her place back at Luke\'s bedside.

\"Uh....Luke...I..I gotta tell you something...\"

Luke looked at her sensing something was very wrong. "What?"

Sara swallowed a little, debating whether or not to actually tell him...she didn\'t know what kind of an effect this was going to have on Luke and she didn\'t want to risk making him worse. On the other hand Luke was already coping with things much better and if she kept this from him then she would lose all the trust he had built up in her.

Sighing gently, she looked up at him.

\"Bo\'s had a bit of an accident...\"

Luke sat up quickly. "An accident?! What kind of accident!? Is he ok?!"

Sara bit her lip softly before saying gently.

\"He should be okay...from what the witness\' have said...it looks like the exhaustion he\'s suffering from got the better of him...he tripped going up the sidewalk and cracked his head on the concrete...he\'s got a bad concussion and a head wound...plus a couple of bruises...\"

Luke asked no more, pushing aside his bedside table and standing up, yanking the IV's out of his arm. "Where is he?!"

Sara quickly stopped him as he went to rip out the IVs, putting a calming hand on his arm and saying gently.

\"Luke...I aint gonna stop you seeing him but you have to keep these IV\'s in for now okay...we\'ll get you a moving stand so you can walk with them but no more pulling them out...okay?\"

"I wanna see him now!" demanded Luke, his heart racing with worry.

\"I know you do...\" Sara said placatingly \"...but before you can we just need to change the stands over. I already asked for a nurse to go get one. In a couple of minutes you\'ll be on your way if you just be patient for me...he\'s not going anywhere Luke...\"

Luke swallowed. He was trying his best to be patient, but the thought of Bo, his baby cousin, somewhere alone in a hospital, when the site of a needle alone scared him silly, was almost too much.

True to her word, just moments after Sara finished speaking, another nurse came into the room and made quick work of switching the IV bags over to the moveable stand. Sara then lead Luke out the room and down to where Bo\'s was.

Bo was laying, still unconcious, in the bed. He was as pale as the sheets and the pillow underneath his head, the only bit of colour on his face were the dark circles around his eyes and the little patch of red that had seeped through the bandage.

Luke's breath caught in his throat as he saw him stumbling his way to him and taking his hand in his own IVd one. "Is he ok? Is he...gonna be ok?" he asked frightened.

Sara nodded a little.

\"We see no reason why he shouldn\'t be...he\'s gonna have a sore headache and a nice big bruise on his forehead...the main thing we\'re concerned about is the fact he hasn\'t regained conciousness yet...though we;re thinking that could be mainly due to the exhaustion...\"

Luke nodded a little gently rubbing Bo's knuckles with his thumb. "Be okay brother," he pleaded. "Please."

Bo however gave no response to Luke\'s touch or his plea, continuing to just sleep in the hospital bed unmoving.

Luke swallowed hard as he held his hand, worried for him.

It wasn't long before Daisy came running through the door, Sara having left the two alone. At the sight of Luke sitting by his side though, she did a small double take....the last thing she expected him to be doing when he got the news was to be sitting next to Bo...she had expected him to be in as much of a mess as he was when Jesse had passed.

"L...Luke?"

Luke swallowed. "He's still unconscious," he said softly mistaking the emotion in her voice for worry over Bo, not surprise that he was there.

"I know...the doctor told me on the phone...I..was...I mean i'm...kinda surprised your...sitting here. Considering the last time I saw ya..."

She knew she was walking on risky ground by mentioning it, but Luke would know if she was lying...no matter how upset he had ever gotten, he had always known when someone wasn't being truthful and lying to him or keeping something from him would only make him mad or more upset.

Luke swallowed nodding a little just letting her speak.
