Avery says "Okay, if you don't believe me this is picture of my Mom with Uncle Jesse when I was just a little bitty baby here."

Avery hands a picture over to Cooter to let Bo and Luke look at.

Cooter took it and looked over it, raising an eyebrow and handing it over to Luke. Bo however still didn't come over, now having slid under the General.

Luke shook his head. "That don't prove nothin...Uncle Jesse helped birth lots of babies...don't make you a Duke."

Cooter blew out a breath softly. The Dukes were tough on people claiming to be there family...from what he had heard from Bo, Luke had been just as defensive with his own brother when he had first arrived...and both boys had been pensive about the cousin from England...fortunatly Judd had turned out to be ok but Gaylord Duke has really shaken the family up.

Avery says " . Mom also tells me that everytime I get happy I got this mile long grin. Can I meet with Uncle Jesse he'll know I'm a Duke for sure and you know I really like your car is it called the General Lee."

Bo instantly flung himself out from under the General Lee and had pushed past Luke in two strides, yelling.

"He ain't your Uncle Jesse! Oh and well done you can read the name on the roof of mine and Luke's car. You ain't havin' him, you ain't ever gonna drive him an' you ain't weedlin' yer way inta our family!"

Luke grabbed hold of Bo quick, having to hold him with both hands to keep him from plowing right over Avery. "Hold tight, cousin," he said below his breath so only Bo heard him. Luke instantly recognized the glint in Bo's eye. It was the same glint he had given Luke a time or two, shortly before throwing a punch.

Bo struggled against Luke's hands a few moments, hands balled into fists as he kept his angry glare on Avery. If there was one thing Bo couldn't hold his temper about, it was about his family and when it was threatened by outsiders. Eventually though, he knew it was no good fighting because Luke's hold on him was too strong plus Cooter was helping him on the other side. He looked away and pulled back, his hands held up like Rosco was shooting at him before he turned his back to Avery again and leant on the General, breathing hard.

Cooter glanced to Luke before going to Avery and putting his arm around his shoulders, led him into the garage.

"Come on fella, lemme talk ta ya about a few things..."

Luke followed after Bo after a minute and put a hand on his shoulder. "You ok?"

Bo shook his head with his jaw set as he looked out over Hazzard over the top of the General's roof.

"No....I don't like him...Uncle Jesse never mentioned no cousin that lived in Texas...an' you can be sure that if Uncle Jesse never mentioned em then it can't be right."

Luke nodded. "I know what you mean. I got one of my feelin's...somethin' ain't right...but I can't put my finger on it. Tell ya this much though...I don't want him around Daisy, Jesse or the farm."

Bo shook his head, still looking out over Hazzard as all the people milled by in their own little lives.

"I know what ya mean..."

"But Bo...you gotta be careful...we don't know this fella from Adam...he could pull a knife on ya or a gun...ya can't just pick fights with a stranger like that," he warned though his voice betrayed how worried he had been.

Bo sighed and hung his head, hands clenched together on top of the confederate flag on the roof.

"I know it..."

Luke nodded, rubbing his cousin's back a little. "Just watch yerself...I don't wanna lose ya...."

Bo glanced to him and nodded before standing up straight and putting his hands on his hips.

"S'just;...Uncle Jesse ain't as young as he used ta be ya know..."

"I know," sighed Luke. "Having some guy come round claiming to be a relative for God knows why aint exactly keepin' him stress-free."

Bo shook his head, running a hand through his blonde hair. They had all gotten a scare a few months back when Jesse had had a heart attack. Since then the doctors has told them to keep him as stress free as possible and make sure his blood pressure stayed at a normal rate.

Luke wrapped an arm around him. "Don't you fret...he ain't got no reason to go wound Jesse...an you can be dang sure I'll keep it that way,"

Bo leant into his arm a little, putting his around Luke's waist.

"Well according to Avery he does..."

"Well...I ain't got no reason t' believe him...an' til we both feel ok about it, he ain't goin near the farm...I promise," said Luke squeezing bo's shoulder a little.

Bo sighed again and nodded a little, swallowing softly.

"I just...get so worried about him...ya know.."

"I know brother...you an me both.." said Luke softly his eyes to the ground. They hadn't talked about it really; not like they talked about every other thing that happened. It was almost as if they were both in denial about it.

Bo nodded softly, leaning agaisnt the General again.
