I just found a site with a video where they say John had an accident during the filming of Collier, in a scene with his car.

I couldn't see the video yet, 'cause I haven't the right program: Do you know about it?

Speaking of "Collier" here's a little trivia. In one of the episodes they mention a "Collier's Corners". I'm not sure which episode but I know it's early in the first season but it's not a Georgia episode. I'm pretty sure it's either Swamp Molly or Luke's Love Story.
