What songs remind you of Hazzard?

Featured Replies

See. my two biggest influences of songs in general and for them is Alan Jackson and Josh Turner. i don't know how much you heard of Josh but a lot of his more lovey songs i can see with Dais and Enos

for example

Angels Fall Sometimes

Would You Go With Me? (hey i bet she wished she could when he went to Atlanta)

Your Man

Firecracker (no need for explination)

So Not My Baby (Okay this might need explaining. mostly the idea of how he wants the girl, but they not connecting apparently. if you heard it it would probly make more sense)

I can see almost every loveish song by Alan fitting them can't really name a specific song, but anyway

oh i love Josh Turner and Alan Jackson songs!

Did you know: just a little fact i heard on the radio a while back that line dancing is now hot in France because of that song

Would you Go with me was actually the first song i ever heard by Josh and i didn't even know his name then or the name of the song, but it was love at first note.

So i don't know bout you but Firecracker fits Daisy perfectly. If you ever hear a song by him Called Trailerhood pretty redneck song. and another one i really like called One Woman Man (all three on the same album called "Everything is Fine"

ive never heard Trailerhood or One Woman Man

I haven't heard either on the radio, but here

Trailerhood

Just about a mile off o' Thirty One

There's a whole lot o' nothin' gettin' done

Blue-collar rednecks feeling fine

A couple o' sips of a year old shine

Everyday's about feeling good

Way down yonder in the trailerhood

Danny Ray's fishin' in his one-man boat

If he stayed gone no one would know

Darlene's boyfriend came home drunk

Ol' boy's luggage is loaded in the truck

That's one less two-timer up to no good

Way down yonder in the trailerhood

The trailerhood, the trailerhood

Ain't nobody doin' what they should

One thing is understood

You can be yourself in the trailerhood

If you wanna see a mobile home

Get turned into a honky tonk

Turn your truck south off o' Thirty One

Where the backwoods boys git-er-done

It's a single wide party box back in the woods

Way down yonder in the trailerhood

Yeah, the trailerhood, the trailerhood Ain't nobody doin' what they should

One thing is understood

You can be yourself in the trailerhood

I said, the trailerhood, the trailerhood

Ain't nobody doin' what they should

one thing is understood

You can be yourself in the trailerhood

Yeah, you can be yourself in the trailerhood

really fits the Dukes i think

One Woman Man

If you told me that you love me

I would feel so proud

If you'd let me hold you honey

I'd holler out loud

I'll never love another even if I can

Oh, come to me baby, I'm a one woman man

Chorus:

Won't you let me, baby

Just a kind of hang around

I'll always love you honey

And I'll never let you down

I'll never love another

Even if I can

Well, come to me baby

I'm a one woman man

I'd climb the highest mountain

If it reached up to the sky

To prove that I love you

I'd jump off and fly

I'd even swim the ocean

From shore to shore

To prove that I love you

A little bit more

Repeat Chorus

If you told me that you love me

I would feel so proud

If you'd let me hold you honey

I'd holler out loud

I'll never love another even if I can

Oh, come to me baby, I'm a one woman man

Repeat Chorus

Come to me baby

I'm a one woman man

and another i really like called

Soulmate

Soulmate

Until the end of time

You're my soulmate

I'll love you till I get to heaven's gate

And if I go first sweetheart

I'll wait

'Cause I know I'll never find another

Soulmate

Your love

There's no telling where I'd be

Without your love

Stumbling in the dark

Would be pretty rough

When I get down you're the one

That lifts me up

I thank the Lord above

For your love

Chorus:

In this day and time

The right one is hard to find

Girl, that's why I'm holding on to you

Each and every night

When we turn out the light

There's no mistaking what we have is true

Soulmate

I hope that we grow old together

Solemate

In the good and bad

Even through the heartache

We've got a special bond

That'll never break

'Cause darling you and I are

Soulmates

Repeat Chorus:

Solemate

Until the end of time

You're my soulmate

I'll love you till I get to

Heaven's gate

We've got a special bond

That'll never break

never heard anyone those songs

another that reminds me of Hazzard and the Dukes is Redneck Yacht Club- by Craig Morgan

I know and in addition i'm like whoa. i love that song and it fits them perfectly. if you ever seen i think it's CMT top 100 videos it's on there and one the comments somebody made is that it fits perfectly to it. Perfect Episode of Dukes of Hazzard

yeah, i saw that, it was cool, i always watch GAC and CMT

I watch CMT I watched GAC once when we had it on DirectTV now we have Charter and you can get it but we don't. *sigh* i once saw one of the Grand Ole Ophry specials like how that person got into music and such pretty interesting

if i listen to it i'm singing it for like a week. i'm not sure but it seems to me when you have roots in a place like KY then it's in your soul. i always like country but lately i've noticed that i feel something deeper listening to a fiddle or banjo . . . :cornfused: maybe there's something to it
