B.L. laughed as well at the look on Konrad's face at the idea Cooter and Daisy might make out in the backseat. Gets in the passenger seat when he opened the door making sure her dress was fixed so it wouldn't get caught in the door.

Konrad closed the door once B.L. gathered her dress so it wouldn't get caught. He went back around and fixed his seat when Daisy and Cooter were settled and got in himself. Starting the car he headed off to where the dance was held.

B.L. leaned back in the seat watching the scenery pass by the window as they were going to where the dance was. Glancing occasionally in the rearview mirror to see what Cooter and Daisy were doing.

While driving, Konrad gave glances towards B.L., he saw what she was up to and smiled when he caught her eye.

Cooter also saw that B.L. kept looking in the rearview mirror. Most likely checking up on him to see what he was up to. He gave Daisy a kiss on the cheek when B.L. wasn't looking.

B.L. smiled back at Konrad when he caught her eye. She might not have seen the kiss but she knew Cooter well enough to know he was sneaking one not to mention she had heard it. Glances in the mirror making sure Cooter wasn't watching reaches over putting her hand on Konrad's knee.

Cooter had all his attention on Daisy to notice B.L. had moved her hand. Konrad was certainly aware of her hand. He put his own hand over hers to make sure she kept the hand where it was so he could concentrate on driving.

Daisy smiled shyly when Cooter kissed her cheek. Leaning over returning the kiss lightly before laying her head on his shoulder. B.L. peeped in the mirror again at the couple in the backseat. Grinning at them they both looked like love sick calves so enamored with each othere were they.

Cooter smiled back at her as she returned the kiss. He out his arm around her as she leaned on him. Cooter caught B.L. looking in the mirror and grinned back at her.

Bringing B.L.'s attention back to him, Konrad brought the hand that was on his knee and kissed her hand and smiled at her.

"I don't they'll get up to much if ya keep checkin' up on them..." He said grinning.

Daisy caught B.L.'s eye in the mirror giving her a wink which made BL muffle a chuckle.

"Yeah I know"

B.L. said to Konrad about Cooter and Daisy not getting upto anything as long as she watched them grinning wickedly. She was only doing it to pester Cooter but he didn't seem to be bothered by it.

Cooter thought it was fun to do things when B.L. wasn't looking and being seemingly innocent when she was looking. Finally pulling up to where the dance was Konrad turned off the Messiah and got out. Pulling his seat foward for Daisy and Cooter to get out before helping B.L. from the car.

Daisy got out of the backseat standing next to Cooter straightening her dress after the ride. B.L. doing the same when Konrad helped her out. The girls taking hold of the hands of their dates heading inside to the dance.

He locked the car and looked around for the General and Dixie seeing if Bo and Luke had made it here yet. To his surprise Dixie was parked a few parks over. He walked B.L. inside where the hall was already a buzz of activity.

Daisy too looked around for her cousins, seeing the General parked a short distance away and futher away she could just make out Dixie. It looked like they were all there. Inside the building Bo was twirling Cindy Mae around on the dance floor as the four young people came in.

Once inside Konrad lifted his arm for B.L. to take.

"Care ta dance milady?" He asked.

Cooter took Daisy off to dance aswell.

Luke on the other hand had found a comfortable spot with Mabel talking in her ear making her giggle.

B.L. took Konrad's arm with a smile

"I'd love to"

He led her off to the dance floor and they were soon lost in the music and swirl of other dancers.

Bo and Cindy Mae had moved from the dance floor to catch their breath and Bo had gone to the refreshment table to get them something to drink.

There was not a soul outside. Everyone was inside having a good time. The soft glow from a headlight of the Mustang glowed against the wall and faded as the car backed up out of it's resting parking space. The engine was not so quiet but no one from inside heard from the music and dancing. Coming to a stop behind some bushes and waited for the other cars to join.

As the mustang backed out of it's parking space the white Jeep with the eagle on the hood and Dixie painted in script writing along the side of the hood light's came on as it came to life with a soft purr. Backing out of the space joining the mustang in the wait for the other cars.

As soon as the Mustang was out of earshot of anyone the powerful engine roared off down the road. Since it was low to the ground, it rose it's self a few inces off the ground so it could go faster on the dirt roads. It was in search of it's partner, the Judge, a silver 1969 pontiac GTO. The speeding yellow and black car was soon followed close by Dixie and General.

The silver GTO was waiting for the other cars at the cross roads and squeezed in line behind Messiah. Dixie and General close behind, as they all headed out into the peaceful country night.
