BH03 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I know this is not an Andy Griffith website but I image some people that enjoy the dukes also enjoy Andy Griffith show. Don will be missed. He passed on Friday 2/24/06. Quote
georgiagal1 Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 I've never watched the Andy Griffith show, besides a few bits and pieces of some episodes. But I watched him all the time on Threes Company rereuns. We'll miss him Quote
Iloveschnieder Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 My deep sympathies to the Knot family for their personal loss. Television lost yet another great actor. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew him personally and in the world of television (syndication) where the rest of us knew him.21 July 1924 - 24 February 2006 age 81Born Jesse Donald Knotts Quote

CrazyVic Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 The Andy Griffith Show and Dukes of Hazzard had a lot of connections. Both James Best (Rosco) and Denver Pyle (Uncle Jessie) appeared in multiple ipisodes of the AG show.It is obvious that Don Knotts as Barney Fife was influential to James Best. RIP to Don Knotts- forever Barney Fife.PS Dukes and Andy Griffith are my 2 favorite shows of all time. Quote
