This episode bugs me only because of that little boys voice! That voice never sounds right to me when ever I see that episode.

Does anyone else have a problem with his voice sounding unnatural?

I do like it though when Bo and Luke talk about how it was for them after thier parents died. I like any insight into thier past.

Apprently he does cartoon voices now. Maybe that is another reason it bugs me, I might "recgonize" it from a cartoon. It almost seems as if it was a dubbed in voice. Cute kid, annoying voice!

It sounded like they dubbed his voice with Rudolph the red nosed reindeer lol!

I remeber that kid from other shows in the 80's and that wasn't his voice. As well as I can remember, he had kind of a redneckish voice, which I think would have suited him better in this episode. I know for sure that the voice isn't his and it's one of those things that is really obvious and it bugs me too.

We're convinced that Terry Lee's voice was done by none other than Rocky the Flying Squirrel from the Bullwinkle Show. Know that voice anywhere and that was it.

ok can anyone name the voice actor that did Rocky's voice from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show? Then we'll have found out who dubbed in Terry Lee's voice. I wonder why they didn't use his own voice. It can't have been any worse than the voice that they used!

It is the only reason why I don't like watching that episode. That annoying voice.

The voice does seem unnatural but Rosco and the Dukes both had radiator problems and Maxine and Flash were both cute in the show.

It's an anomoly, anomalies bug me. I just don't understand why anybody would want to dub out his voice. And if they did why didn't they dub out his voice with a more realistic sounding voice? Anybody know?

I have no idea why they dubbed it, but thank goodness it bugs everyone else, too! I thought I was going nuts.

FYI, according to IMDB, June Foray did the voice for Rocky. She also did a bunch of other cartoon voices, including some work on the Smurfs. No proof that she dubbed Terry Lee, but it's an interesting thought!

the only reason i could see for them doing that is if he had larengytis (sp?) at the time, but you're right the voice they used very unnatural

But if the kid had a speech disorder why go through all the extra money to dub him and just get another kid for the role. There are all numbers of cute kids in Hollywood who would be better for it.

I always wondered about this, too. Terry Lee's voice definitely doesn't sound like a little boy. It sounds like a woman, trying to sound like a little boy. Maybe they did dub over the boy's voice. The only thing's I could think of is that he was the only kid actor they could get at the time and they didn't like the way his voice sounded, or didn't think it sounded young enough for the character he was portraying. So possibly, they had to record over it. Maybe he was older than he appeared to be. That would be a question to ask John, Tom, or Cathy. They might know.
