I don't know who he's playing in the episode, but I found a Sanford and Son Easter Egg in a Starsky & Hutch episode. The episode with a boxing match. Whitman Mayo (Grady Wilson) is ring side watching the match, dressed like Grady.

I love this Starsky & Hutch series scene.

Hutch:"Did you make out the plates?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Starsky:"No." ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Hutch:"Can't you get any closer?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Starsky:"What do you think I'm tryin' to do, lose him?" ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Hutch:"Oh haha very funny." ๐Ÿ˜‚

I wasn't expecting the reunion to be on a British morning magazine show. BTW. I converted your link to an embedded video - I think more people are likely to watch it that way.

Here's David Soul on 'Top Gear':

I heard the finale episode of Season 4 which is the finale for the entire series, killed off Starsky when he got shot. But they scrapped that ending and changed it and let him survive for syndication etc.

The first time I saw the Season 4 episode with that bad guy Holneek who had the alter ego Harry in his head and went around screaming "You!!!" In that creepy voice, it gave me nightmares. ๐Ÿ˜‚ย

Gonna be playing the Starsky and Hutch game on my GameCube in a bit once I turn the sausage that's in the oven

I got it on PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance. ๐Ÿ˜€ It's what introduced me to the franchise. ๐Ÿ˜ฒย

The 2004 movie is actually what got me into it! I saw it on a DVD at my sister's and asked to borrow it. She gave it to me because she didn't even know where it came from. Then I used to go over on the weekends and watch episodes of the TV show on a website called Fancast that eventually got purchased by Hulu. Thankfully it's on Tubi as I only own the first season. Like All in the Family it was definitely ahead of its time in dealing with social issues but I'd say even more so. Even in dealing with these things some episodes are very uplifting and happy while others can literally be gruelling to watch. Such a fantastic show. I understand why Cooter liked the car so much lol
