---> Just then, a powerful engine could be heard in the distance. "Rosco, my bad luck is changing. I think that I hear the General Lee heading my way," said Vicki excitedly back into the CB mike. "Judist priest on a Pony, Vicki! This is our lucky day. If it is them, I want you to go after them," said Rosco excitedly back into the CB mike. A couple of seconds later, Bo blared his horn as he passed the speed trap. "Rosco, Bo just past by my speed trap. Do you want me to arrest him or just give him a ticket for reckless driving?" asked Vicki giggling back into the CB mike. Rosco laughed back into the CB mike. "See, I told you that waiting at the speed trap would pay off. Just go catch him first then call me back." "10-4, Sheriff. I'm gone," Vicki said back into the CB mike. Then she turned her siren on. Driving recklessly in the General, Bo glanced into his rearview mirror as he noticed the speeding patrol car in the background heading his way.

Vicki shivered, pulling her heavy coat more snuggly around her. She glanced at her watch. Fifteen minutes had passed, and there was still nobody around this part of the county. The icy cold rain had begun to fall, and the wind was getting chillier by the minute. "Rosco, are you there?" asked Vicki, shivering as she talked back into the CB mike. "Go ahead, Little Red," said Rosco back into the CB mike. "If someone comes by here within the next fifteen minutes, do you want me to arrest them or just hand out tickets?" Vicki asked as she continue to shiver into the CB mike. "Jit...jit, honey. Yeah, just give out tickets unless it is one of the Duke boys," said Rosco excitedly back into the CB mike. "Rosco, why do you want me to arrest Bo or Luke?" Vicki asked into the CB mike as she continued to watch the icy rain fall outside. "I was out with Bo last night, and he seemed just fine to me." Rosco grumbled. "Because they made me wreck my patrol car out at Dry Creek Bridge when I tried to chase them over the Creek." Vicki giggled lightly. "I remember that day. You came back to town with Cooter soaked to the skin." Rosco laughed. "Yeah, thanks to those dang Duke boys for wrecking my day." ---> Just then, a powerful engine could be heard in the distance...

Vicki picked up the CB mike in the patrol car and turned the channel to 22. "Rosco, do you have your ears on? Come back," said Vicki urgently back into the CB mike. "This is Sheriff Rosco P. Coletrane coming back at ya, Little Red," Rosco said into the CB mike at the Hazzard County Courthouse. "Rosco, is there any way in the world that I can come back to town? The wind has picked up considerably, and it is getting colder. I think that a bad storm is heading towards us from the north," Vicki said into the CB mike. "Vicki, with Cletus having the day off today, you're the only deputy working right now. I really want you to stay out for at least 30 more minutes," Rosco said. "Oh...okay," grumpled Vicki back into the CB mike. "Vicki, it's not that bad. Where are you at right now?" Rosco asked back into the CB mike then added, "Which speed trap are you at?" "Speed Trap #3 on Clear Creek Drive." Vicki said. "Oh...oh...one of my favorite speed traps. Have you caught anybody yet?" Rosco asked excitedly as he laughed. "Not yet, Rosco. I think that it is too cold outside for anyone to be out," Vicki said back into the CB mike. "That's all right, Little Red. Maybe someone will come by soon," said Rosco. "I hope so, Rosco," said Vicki back into the CB mike as she shivered, looking at the clouds.

The sky had once looked clear and peaceful, but in the horizon, Vicki noticed some grayish white clouds heading south towards her. She could feel the winds pushing against her patrol car as the clouds came rolling in. She had drove for about half an hour, when she realized that the texture of the air outside had thickened slightly. She looked warily around her, but saw no danger. It was just that she couldn't see too well in front of her. That was when she decided to stop at one of Rosco's favorite speed traps for a while. Vicki thought if maybe she stopped for a while, maybe the cold wind would subside, and the visibility would be better. *What visibility?* thought Vicki as she sighed loudly. *It's getting worse instead of better. I think that there is a bad storm heading this way. I better call in to Rosco.*

Story was originally written August to November 1999* ********* ********* **BALLADEER: "Y'all get ready for a Winter Wonderland in Hazzard!" Friday, January 23, 1981 Although the weather had been unusually cold all week, it had somewhat been quiet and normal in Hazzard County for the past week. Unusually quiet for Hazzard would be that Boss Hogg hasn't made any money, and Bo & Luke hasn't been chased once all week. It was a cold Friday afternoon in the last part of January, and Vicki was sitting in her patrol car up on Clear Creek Drive with the heater running. The temperature outside was about 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. The radio even said that there was a slight chance of snow in the area tonight & tomorrow. "Of all days for Rosco to make me do speed trap duty, and it would have to be the coldest day of the year," grumpled Vicki to herself as she turned up the heater in her patrol car. "I've been waiting up here for over an hour, and no one has drove by this speed trap. I bet that it's too cold for anyone to be out in this weather." BALLADEER: "Little did Vicki know that is right, but it is just going to get worse, don't y'all think so??"

*AUTHOR NOTE: Happy Holiday's Y'all! This will be the last post on this storyline for a few days. As for me starting a new winter story in the next few days. I'll get back to this storyline soon! Take Care!* ******* Vicki cautiously looked around outside her car after putting her 2-way radio back into the glove compartment of her car. There was nothing but oak and maple trees all around her. *Something just doesn't seem right around here...* thought the redhead as she got out of her car. Vicki looked around at the surroundings in front of her. She glanced up towards Jasper's cabin. Everything seemed to be all in one piece, she decided as she watched Jasper & his girlfriend Lucy bring up supplies from the supply shed. As Vicki studied the grounds, she was trying to decide where it would be the best place to hide or to stay hidden out of sight until Jasper's henchmen arrived. *Where was Bo?* Vicki wondered as she walked up onto the front porch of Jasper's cabin. Her mouth was dry when she swallowed thinking about what have happened to Bo. Thinking about it, Vicki decided that she will just go along with Jasper's plan, whatever it was, until she could figure out a way to stop Jasper and his men. Vicki fought back the anxiety and fear that was building inside of her as she walked inside the cabin...

"Vicki, wasn't Bo following you?" asked Luke into Jim's 2-way radio. "Yeah, Luke. Bo was following me until Jasper's henchmen forced him off the road," said Vicki fretfully. "Then what happened? Did Bo escape from them?" asked Daisy into the 2-way radio. "I really don't know, Daisy. Bo never did call me back after he was forced off the road. I think that is when Jasper's men captured Bo!" said Vicki fearfully. Agent Barnes took the 2-way radio way from Luke & Daisy. "Vicki, where did Bo last contact you?" Jim asked back into the 2-way radio. "Just a couple miles behind me near the intersection of Clear Creek Road and Hazzard Swamp Road," Vicki said back into her 2-way radio. "Vicki, just don't do anything risky. We'll be there in a few minutes to help you get Jasper's men," said Agent Barnes, then giving the radio to Luke. "And to rescue Bo too," said Luke. "Okay," said the redhead sighing loudly then added, "I'll be careful and you too."

While Bo was trying to figure out where he was being taken just before the chloroform fumes overtook him, at Jasper's cabin, Vicki was on her portable 2-way radio talking to her supervisor. "Vicki, are you sure of what you're telling me is correct?" asked Agent Jim Barnes, Atlanta FBI department. He was parked near the Chickasaw/Hazzard County Line near the northern edge of Hazzard Swamp. "Jim, I'm positive! Bo was tailing me several miles back until he got into a fight with Jasper's men. I just know that there is something wrong. I know that Jasper's men have caught Bo!" said Vicki slightly agitated with worry in her voice. "Jim, let me talk to that deputy of mine," said Sheriff Little, taking the 2-way radio away from Jim. "Sure, Sheriff," said Jim as he handed the radio to him. "Vicki, what are you so worried about? I know that you're capable of catching these crooks." asked Sheriff Little. "I'm worried about what is going to happen if I don't catch Jasper and his men. No telling what they're going to do," said Vicki uneasily back into her 2-way radio.

**AUTHOR NOTE: 12-14-03 Merry Christmas Y'all! Have y'all ever wondered if snow ever felled in Hazzard County? I think that it might have. LOL! I'm thinking that Hazzard County was near the Tennessee State Line or Close to the Alabama State Line. If it was close to there, then it did snow on occasion in Hazzard. Of course I could be wrong... LOL This cute little story that I have recently written off-line might tell that tale about a rare sudden blizzard in Hazzard. I hope that y'all will like it. AUTHOR NOTE: *Happy Holiday's y'all. For the next few posts, they will be through Bo's point of view. Just a few of this thoughts as he was being taken to Jasper's hideout.* ********** As Vicki was calling her supervisor on the CB, near the Chickasaw/Hazzard County Line on the northern edge of Hazzard Swamp, Bo stirred briefly as he came to consciousness. He was lying still in the backseat of the red sedan as the throbbing of his limbs told him that something was wrong. Every bone in his body ached, and his arms & legs felt somewhat numb & tingling. With a start, Bo remembered what had happened the night before with Vicki, and began to curse himself that he couldn't talk the redhead out of her mission to capture Jasper Johnson. When he made a mess of things, he did it royally. He was a bloody fool. No doubt about it. It was all his fault that he got captured by tailing Vicki, all of it. Worse, he knew that Vicki would be suffering soon for his mistake, blaming herself for his capture. She had amazing ability to take on guilt, even if it didn't belong to her. Bo looked around slightly as he was in a cramped position of the floorboards of the red sedan. He knew that he had to escape, as much as for her as for himself.

BALLADEER: **Hmmm...what a strange site. The crook & the redhead talking to each other. I wonder what's going to happen?? I bet that the crook will have something valuable Hidden away for the redhead! Y'all better not go to the refrigerator yet!** **AT JASPER'S HIDEOUT IN HAZZARD SWAMP** "Jasper! I didn't know that you were here," said Vicki, a bit startled as the crook approached the redhead. "Yeah, I was taking a nap until Dave called me on the CB about an hour ago. He said that we were going to have a 'guest' for supper tonight," said Jasper laughing meanly. *Guest??* thought Vicki as her face grew quite pale. *I wonder who he's talking about? I have a strong feeling that I already know who our guest is...* "Red, are you all right? You made a face when I told you that Dave was bringing me a 'guest'?" Jasper asked, placing a hand on the redhead's shoulder. Not saying anything, Vicki abruptly walked away from Jasper. ***** --->Just then Lucy walked outside the cabin. "Jasper! What's wrong with Vicki?" Lucy asked as she watched the redhead walk back towards the black mustang. "I don't know, Lucy. All I said to her that we are going to have a 'guest' for supper and she took off! Maybe she's just tired," said Jasper, looking at Vicki. "Maybe, sugar," said Lucy, taking Jasper by the hand then added, "Let's leave her alone for a few minutes. Maybe that'll cool her off some." Jasper smiled at his girlfriend. "Yeah, you're right, honey. Let's go out to the shed and get some supplies that we're going to be using later." "Okay, let's go," said Lucy as she followed Jasper towards the shed. Watching Lucy & Jasper walk towards the shed, Vicki walks back to the mustang, hoping that she can call someone to help her outfox Jasper.

*Something tells me that my day won't get any better anytime soon* Vicki thought as she was sitting in her car at Jasper's hideout. "LittleRed, do you have your ears on?" asked Luke back into the CB mike. Vicki opened her eyes wide after hearing Luke's worried voice. "Hi, Lost Sheep. This is LittleRed. What's your 20 right now?" asked Vicki back into the Cb mike. "I was just about to ask you the same thing, sugar." Luke said. "Where are you at right now?" "Inside Hazzard Swamp near the Chickasaw County Line. I was just waiting for Jasper to show up at his cabin," said Vicki back into her Cb mike. "Vicki, is Bo with you?" asked Daisy as she took the Cb mike away from Luke. "I wish he was, Daisy. I lost contact with Bo nearly 2 hours ago. I think that maybe Jasper & his men got him," said Vicki. "Oh, no. Vicki, do you think that he's okay?" Daisy asked. "I hope so, Daisy. I hope so," said Vicki as she glanced outside her car as she watched Jasper walk down the steps of the cabin then added, "I'll call y'all back in a minute. Jasper just walked outside. Bye." "10-4, we're gone," said Daisy as she hung up the CB mike. "I sure hope that Vicki knows what she's doing," Luke said as he turned onto Hazzard Swamp road. "Me too, Luke. I hope that Vicki can keep herself out of trouble and save Bo too," said Daisy as she looked outside at the wildflowers...

**At the Duke Farm** Meanwhile, out at the Duke farm, Luke was pacing around the living room worrying about Bo & Vicki. *Those two lovebirds should have called in by now,* thought Luke as he glanced up at the clock on the wall. *It has been well over 2 hours since Bo started tailing Vicki at the bank. I hope that my lovesick cousin didn't get his nose into trouble again.* "Luke, did Bo or Vicki call you yet?" asked Jesse as he walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa. "No, Uncle Jesse, they didn't. Bo should have called me by now. He knows not to follow the crooks, even if Vicki is involved," Luke said shaking his head. "Yeah, but that boy is stubborn also," said Jesse. "When Vicki is involved into something, Bo doesn't know to keep his nose out of trouble." "That's for sure, Uncle Jesse." Luke said, as he was getting the keys to the General off the table then added, "I'm going into Chickasaw to talk to Vicki's supervisor about this whole mess, then I'm going to start looking for Bo & Vicki." "Okay, Be careful, Luke. Call me if you find those kids," said Jesse. "Okay, Uncle Jesse. I'm going to pick up Daisy at the Boar's Nest, then we're heading towards Chickasaw. See you later," said Luke as he rushed outside towards the General Lee.

As y'all can tell from my writing, I tend to add just a little drama, romance, and action into my stories. Just thought that I should warn y'all! Take Care!** ********* After Dave pulls in front of Bo, he forces him off the road. Bo hestiantly gets out of the white sportscar. With no idea of the danger that he was walking in, Bo heads towards the red Ford sedan, with his fists up ready for a fight, unaware that Dave & Harry were sneaking up behind him. As Bo approached the red Ford, Dave had sneaked up behind Bo, wrapping his arm tightly around Bo's neck in a stranglehold. Bo struggled to escape out of Dave's hold, but his air was low, and he was getting weaker. "Now we're going to get even with you for sending our Boss to jail a couple of years ago!" said Dave in a harsh voice into Bo's ear. "And I think that this should do the job too," said Harry, holding a needle as he approached Bo. Always hating needles, Bo fought harder to escape out of Dave's hold. BALLADEER: "Don't worry y'all! This does eventually get better. They always do in Hazzard County, Don't they??"

"Why is Vicki speeding up in front of me?" Bo asked to himself as he watched the black mustang speed up in front of him. As Bo was trying to keep up with Vicki, a red Ford sedan comes up suddenly beside Bo. Dave pushes into the back bumper of Bo's car slightly but then roughly. BUMP! BUMP! "Bo! Are you all right?" Vicki asked into the CB mike as she watched in her rear-view mirror as Dave bumps forcefully into Bo's back bumper. "No, sugar! I'm getting attacked by Jasper's men back here! I need your help!" said Bo fearfully back into the CB mike as Dave moves slightly in front of Bo in the red Ford. "Oh...no! Bo, I'm on my way!" said Vicki worriedly back into the CB mike. Vicki turns her black mustang sharply around in the road. She knew then that somehow her plan to capture Jasper had backfired.

**NEAR HAZZARD SWAMP** Vicki speeded up slightly as she turned onto a old dirt road that was towards Jasper's hideout. She looked in her rear-view mirror that Bo was directly behind her. Little did they know that they were being followed by Dave & Harry in a red Ford sedan. Pulling up beside Vicki, Bo picked up the CB mike. "Sugar, do you have your ears on?" *I'd figure that he would call me,* thought Vicki with a smile then added back into the CB mike in a nervous voice, "Go ahead, sweetheart." "Sugar, are you okay? You seem a little nervous," Bo said back into the Cb mike. "I'm all right," replied the redhead back into the CB mike. "How are you doing? Did you get caught when you were tailing me at the bank?" "Well..." said Bo as he glanced at Vicki. "Considering that I was nearly grabbed by Jasper's men, I could be doing better." --->A red Ford sedan starts to approach Bo rapidly behind him. "Bo, you've got to be more careful! You're lucky that you didn't get captured by Jasper's men. No telling what they'll do to you if they catch you," said Vicki worriedly back into the CB mike. "I know, sugar. But I am a Duke. I have at least nine lives like a cat!" said Bo as he laughed back into the Cb mike. ---> Dave accidently 'bumps' into Bo's back bumper. "Oh, no. Sweet Angel! I'm being forced off the road by Jasper's henchmen!" yelled Bo back into the CB mike. "Bo! You hang on for me! I'm coming back to help you!" said Vicki worriedly back into the CB mike. Putting the CB mike up, Vicki then turns unexpectedly in the road... *Please let Bo be safe...* thought Vicki as she closed her eyes. Vicki blinked back the fear that was going to happen when she arrives at Jasper's hideout.

**AUTHOR NOTE: Sorry y'all, I've been taking a short break from writing with me spending time with my family and going to school, and I just completed my nursing course so I'll be online more. Yay! LOL! =) ** ************** **THROUGH VICKI'S THOUGHTS** Vicki sighs loudly as she turns her black mustang onto Hazzard Swamp road. She glanced into her rear view mirror as she noticed a white early 70's sportscar (probably a Camero or a Trans-Am) coming up fast behind her. *I can't believe this. I really can't. I know what I did could be a bit illegal, but technically it wasn't. It just looks like it was illegal when I stole that money out of Boss Hogg's bank. *Sometimes, I think about why I did it, and Why I'm involved with that crook Jasper Johnson. Well, not really involved. I'm just an associate of his while I'm working undercover for the FBI. *I really didn't want to go undercover for my supervisor & Sheriff Little in the first place. I knew from the start that it was risky and dangerous. Vicki glanced back at the white sportscar again. She made direct eye contact with Bo as he was following the redhead. Bo was looking at Vicki in front of him, studying her. Vicki swallowed hard as her heart started to pound. (Sighing Loudly) *Bo's the reason why I want to back out of this whole mess. I really love and care for him very much. I really don't like it when Bo follows me when I'm working undercover. Everytime he does, it always lead to trouble somewhere. Slowing down the mustang slightly, Vicki noticed that Bo was coming up fast behind her. Vicki's heart start to pulse rapidly as Bo pulls up beside her. A flush swept through her body, and she realized in horror that she felt more alive at that moment than she had in months. Because of Bo, this. Because he wanted to protect her as much as possible, and she wanted to protect him square on. And she won. Her throat tightened, and her mouth dried out as Bo smiled at her. *Because of Bo, I want to get out of this mess. But if I do, what will Jasper do in the meantime? Will he get his revenge on Bo? I can't let that happen no matter what it cost!*

Putting a stack of money into her purse, Vicki walks out of the vault. After locking the vault back up, she then goes out the front door, locking it behind her. In shock, she sees Dave chasing after Bo. "What's going on?" asked Vicki, locking up the bank as Harry approached her. "Nothing, except that kid saw you & us at the bank," Harry said. "Figures that someone wants to spoil our fun," Vicki said sarcastically, brushing her long strawberry red hair away from her face then added through her thoughts, *Figures that Bo couldn't leave me alone with Jasper's men very long...* "How did it go, Red?" asked Dave as he approached Vicki about a minute later. "It went perfectly well," Vicki said as she showed Jasper's henchmen her purse full of money. Dave smiled as he walked back over to his car. "That's good. I'll tell BossMan on the CB that we're much richer now." Vicki giggled wildly. "I'm sure that Jasper will like that." She then frowned as she spots a white sportscar parked at the Gazebo. "We better get out of here before someone spots us. I would sure hate to start getting tailed by a ameratur detective or something." Dave laughed at the fiesty redhead's remark after he got off the CB with Jasper. "Yeah, this hick town is loaded with them." Getting back into the mustang, Vicki smiled at Dave & Harry. "Let's go. Maybe if we leave right now, we won't start getting tailed by a cop or something." "Sounds good, Red. Lead the way," said Dave as he started back up the Ford, then following Vicki out of Hazzard. *BALLADEER: "What has Vicki gotten herself in? This doesn't seem to get any better, does it??"*

Thanks, MA! I hope that it works out. I thought about adding Hughie Hogg more into that storyline that involved him arresting Jesse Duke, but in my revision of that episode, Jesse Doesn't get arrested! LOL! Take Care & Have A Great Day! Vicki

While Vicki was inside the vault, Bo had cautiously made his way over to the bank and looked inside the windows. Astonished, he could make out Vicki, who was inside the vault. He couldn't believe that his bride-to-be was actually stealing the money. As Bo was looking inside the bank window, Dave had sneaked up behind Bo. "Looking at something interesting inside the window?" Dave asked as he pokes his hand gun into Bo's lower back. "Yeah," Bo said, turning around giving Dave a sarcastic smile then added, "That girl stealing the money for y'all looks very familiar. Why is she in there robbing the bank for y'all??" Dave gave Bo a dirty look as he waved his gun directly in front of Bo's face. "Yeah, and you're pushing your luck with me. Why don't we take a walk over to my car and we'll have a chat about what you saw just now." "Maybe later," Bo said as he pushes Dave into Harry, then he ran as fast as he could back to his car.

Meanwhile back at the Hazzard Bank, Vicki had taken her keys out of her pocket. *Thanks to Boss Hogg for giving her the keys about 5 minutes before she had met Jasper's henchmen* After Vicki unlocks the door to the bank, she quietly goes inside and walks directly over to where the safe was. After taking the combination to the vault/safe out of her purse, Vicki begins reading the combination, and then puts her left hand on the dial to the safe. Hestiantly, she then unlocks the safe. After a few minutes, Vicki opens the vault and walks inside. There, she found 2 stacks of money laying out for her on the table. One stack was the 'phony' money that Boss Hogg had laid out for her, and the other stack was real money. Glancing at both stacks of money, Vicki decided to take the 'phony' money. *The reason why the money is phony is because the serial numbers are slightly smudged and blurry* After picking up the phony money, Vicki then put several real bills on top of the phony money to make Jasper think that she really did steal the money. As she was shutting the vault/safe door, Vicki glanced outside at Bo talking to Dave & Harry. *Oh...no. Bo shouldn't be here. He knows not to follow me...* Vicki thought worriedly as she glanced at Bo through the front Bank window.

Watching from Cooter's white loner sportscar, Bo was watching Vicki go inside the bank. He noticed that Jasper's henchmen was outside keeping guard. Not taking his worried eyes off Vicki, Bo picked up the CB mike and turned it on the police channel. "As much as I don't like the idea, but Little Red is inside the bank, according to y'alls plan," Bo said back into the CB mike. "Judist Priest on a Pony!" Rosco exclaimed excitedly back into the CB mike then added, "She actually did it. I hope that she knows not to take Boss's REAL money." Agent Jim Barnes shook his head as he was talking to the Sheriff. "She won't take the real money, Sheriff Coletrane," he said. "I know that she won't do it. She's only supposed to take Mr. Hogg's phony money." Looking at the clock on the dash, Bo begins to look around impatiently. "Y'all, I'm getting outside to take a closer look at Vicki inside the bank," said Bo back into the CB mike. "Bo, you be careful! Don't let yourself get caught by Jasper's men!" said Agent Barnes back into the CB mike. "Don't worry, I will be careful. Call y'all back in a minute." Bo said as he put the CB mike up, then get out of the sportscar as he heads quietly towards the Bank...
