I agree with dukesfan82, I like all except those with coy and vance in it. My most favorite episode was when Bo and Luke were thaught to be dead,after the General went for a dive in the river. I felt so much grief as Rosco felt so lost and helpless. Enos begging him to help find Bo and Luke,and Rosco saying he can't swim and Enos crying While trying to find them. Also when Rosco had to tell uncle Jesse what happened,and seing Jesse's smile go down to a unbelievable look in his face. This will always remain my fav episode for a very long time!

The only dvds I will buy is from the T.V. series and the 2 reunion movies,not interested in buying the new movie. I downloaded the new movie strictly to collect General Lee pics and that's it!

The record jump was in Happy birthday general lee. When Bo and luke look for a car for their engine so they can enter the race. The black charger they found was invovled in a bank robery in atlanta,and was junked after the police caught the thieves. Little that Bo and luke knew that there was diamonds stashed in the dash. When they had the charger all doone and painted as we no know it has the General Lee,Bo and luke went for a test run before the race. that is when the escape thieves were chasing them. They had no where to go,so they jumped the creek,the General lee's first jump and longuest one at that. Actually it was more of a high jump more then a long jump. They also jumped that creek when trying to help dale get out of hazzard too!

In my eyes,dodge screwed up when they brought out the 2006 charger,oooo, that hurt to call it that. The 1999 looked better for a charger,and then????? Ford did good,the 2006 mustang at least looked like a charger! Wish they did the charger like they will do,I hope,like the new challenger concept.... Let's see If I can put it on here!

I've seen this clip a very long time ago,and It tore me up to see people wrecking such an awsome car,especially when it's so hard to fullfill my dreams of having one. I know a guy who has a blue and white vinyl top charger,and when he let me drive it around town,I felt I was in 7th heaven,such a big car when you sit in it,imagine my feeling when I drove it....woooooowwwwww!!!!! I told him,if her ever sells it,I want first offer,guess what it'll look like once I get my hands on it.....lol!

You know what gets my goat, they have John sneider and Tom wopat and the charger back together in another movie. I am very anxious however to see the movie smallville and to see them working together again. What bugs me ,is why couldn't John and Tom have been in the new Dukes movie. I mean, the ratings would have gone sky high! Even with the same plot and story line,(minus the profanities and different crew), they could have still been in the movie, why is it they weren't,that is still busting me up.

I found and downloaded the unrated Dukes of hazzard. To be honest, it wasn't much different then the one they showed at the theatre. The part where Bo and luke look for ,dang forgot her name.Anyways,when the are at the dorm ,looking in each room,and the last one was girls smoking up,but in unrated movie,they are just all naked,wich is better then Bo and Luke comming out of a stoner room. And instead of Jessie comming out of some hut with the mayer smoking up,they had him bitting on an apple with a joint in the middle. One part they didn't show at the movies and is in the unrated one,is when jessie went into boss's office and punched him across the face. Other then that,the rest is exactly the same.

Brad i didn't like that clip at all,except the end....lol! I have a player called VLC,with that I captured all shots of the general lee,how do I put this in here????? Can I use photobucket to put these in here ??? So loved seing the General at night!!!!

Even though I gave the new movie a 5 out of 10 vote,I say no to the sequal. Unless they actually pay attention to the T.V. original series,then they should not even bother. I didn't mind the plot of the story and some of the carless things the dukes done in the movie, but I want to see clean cut Dukes,no swearing and no uncle Jessie smoking pot or saying those ridiculous jokes. Never once did the dukes ever do anything to harm the law,like blowing them up with moonshine,don't want to see that in the sequal either! Don't need tons of cop cars either. Boss hogg has to be fat and bald headed,funny and caniving,none of this serious skinny boss thank you! Roscoe needs to be more clumbsy,more of a screw up,but yet lovable,just like our Roscoe used to be. Daisy needs to be in black hair, and don't need to be nude to get Enos's attention. Other then that I didn't mind Jessica as Daisy. Get rid of sheev,entertaining as he was, who really needs him anyhow? Put more ridge runner in the show,like in the real dukes of hazzard. Stick the story lines of the original with addes flare!!! There is enough episodes for warners or whoever,to pick events from the original Dukes to make one heck Of a sequal! Mix it all up into one big movie,I'm sure they can think of something,then all us duke fans would have something to relate too. Hell,start with the day the duke boys got caught for moonshinning,and start the movie from there???????

O.k, it's been awhile since i have been in these forums,and if we all remember,i had nothing nice to say about this movie. I am split in two really,'cause I did like the movie,but I had to watch it 4 times to really appreciate it! When I first saw it,I was disgusted,but yet was wowed on seing the General Lee on the big screen. What I didn't like about Bo,was he was unshaven,and swearing,although mild, didn't go down real well with me. I have to say the choice for luke was not as bad as I thaught,and I did like the seemless chemistry of the duke boys in this movie,they looked like they were causins forever. What I didn't agree with,was the stunts they pulled on each other,although it was funny as heck when that machine blew up in their face. But the duke boys would never endanger or hurt each other like these two boys did,(phone book across the face and in the nuts, and riding on the safe stunt.) This was more like the reckless and wacked out dukes,I know bo loved the General Lee,but make love to it and talk to it,ignoring a pretty woman,come on that was a bit extreme. The real Bo duke would have forgotten the general if he had a russian babe like that. All in all, I did like their causin chemistry,sorta a view of the dukes in their wild days or something. I did not like Boss hog at all.First off,I wanted fat and funny,not serious and skinny to the bone. I did not like Roscoe,too dang serious and too good a sheriff. Wanted to see him more clumbsy. I love the driving skills of the driver,man seing the General ride around in that intersection,round and round was so cool,made the General look smart. And the driving in between cop cars as luke and Jessie help Bo continue his race, was amazing. The swerving left and right sliding tires and such,that was so cool to see this cars potential. I did nit pick the General too,didn't like the 2 mirrors,or the new steering wheel or new sterio or the white walls, but I let it slide this time.....lol! Didn't like uncle Jessie either. Didn't like it when willie would smoke pot,or when he went to bosses office and hit him across the jaw! Also didn't like the way he would talk to daisy:"How's it looking good looking?" Jessie would never say that to daisy,him being religious and all. Jessica was so so,but really,daisy never had to be near naked to get info from enos,come on!!! Shoul have had black hair too! I didn't mind cooter,except when he was trying to get daisy or her undershorts for the work he done on general,that was really tasteless. Didn't mind sheev,really weird,but it fit for this movie,I guess??? To sum this up, I do appreciate the fact that the guy playing Bo,had a passion for his car(except the fing in it part),he was furious when he saw what damage came to it,and so excited when it was fixed with a hemi under the hood. I could really feel that part,'cause I would have acted the same way,to see how cooter fixed her all up and a hemi in him,yyeeeeeeeehaaa,yeah,i would be jumping too! I did appreciate the chemistry of the guys as duke causins,they really belonged together,and it was funny,even though it was out of character from the original dukes. What really did it for me though,was the High action with the General Lee,that was some awsome driving and maneuvering(however you spell it) and I really enjoyed that very much. So I give this movie a 5 on a scale of 1-10

Exactly dave,that is the way I got Them taped on vhs! The carnival of thrills was in two parts,like you said,Bo punching luke,then show ended.The second part started with them walking out of the farm! Same thing with 10 million dollar sherif,the first part ended with uncle jesse falling over a ledge,looking for the bounty hunter! I forgot the bounty hunters name,but Roscoe hired him to frame the dukes,and they couldn't find him! When Daisy got back to the farm,uncle jessie asked her if they had ay luck locating that feller! He then asked if she had a pic of him,he couldn't stand waiting at the farm and relunctant Daisy gave him the pic of the bounty hunter! That's when uncle jessie stooped his tuck,stepped out and as he looked at the pic he fell over the ledge,wich ended part one! Hope you all remember that,I got proof,have that show on vhs as well!

,Even though i enjoyed the movie,it was only because I saw the movie has not the dukes of hazzard! under another title it would have been an awsome movie! I agree with a lot of what you said Garysmom,and to me,the General Lee is the only thing that saved the movie!Oh well,we'll get to see the General again in smallville,weird,but oh hell,I'll go see it! EJD,you said your fav part was "Luke flies by the General on the safe",well it was funny,but Luke flew by cooter's tow truck,wich the safe was hooked up on,not the General lee! Dukesran1,I never noticed anything about the so-called bikini mishap,I was so pissed they portrayed daisy that way. Daisy never had to be half naked or her tits in Enos's face to get info from him! Just the mere sight of Daisy was enough to make Enos squirm!

Yeah,did enjoy the movie,but it ain't the best re-make I ever saw hollywood do! Beverly hill billies was the best T.V. show remade for the movies! At least they were a heck of a lot closer to the caracters and ways of Jed and the famillies ways! As for the dukes movie,Boss hogg's plot was good and typical,but boss and roscoe was too dang serious! And Daisy???Blonde???No way! I didn't mind her acting,but Daisy never had to be near naked to make Enos go on a case of the stupids! Willie would have been fine if he would have really played the part of "Uncle Jessie"! Jessie had a back bone,you looked at Uncle Jessie,you looked at the ten commandements! He stood for truth and justice and respect! I found willie to be an awfull Jessie with those lame jokes,and smoking pot at the end. Denver pile must be turning in his Grave,bless his soul. Hollywood could have kept all the elements that was in the movie,just make it more like what the real dukes stood for! No swearing,(Damn doesn't count),clean shaven and no jokes from uncle jessie,the rest of the movie was great! Loved seing the General Lee running at night,first time I ever see that!!Yeahhha! To be Honest, If they would have had another car other then the general lee,('69 charger R/T),then I would have given it a fat 0!

Hey Brent,I agree with a lot of what you said,and yes cleatus was in the movie,not much but there! Remember when Roscoe and Boss had jessie and (ooops,forgot her name)(linda carter) tied up on a chair at the duke farm,and the boys showed up? well the one who told roscoe,they're here was cleatus! Not sure,but I think cleatus was at the road block to prevent people from getting to the court house??? I liked the choice for cooter,he was the most southern actor of them all and was the closest to the original cooter!(Ben Jones)

So you want to go head to head with me do ya???? First off,sheeve didn't blow himself up,he was trying to blow boss hoggs safe and failed,it was luke who blew it up with his flaming arrow!! Sex mobile???That was merely a distraction for the dukes to get the sindicate boys and the rest out of the recording studio,and record plant so Bo could blow them up ! Damn and jackass was dropped after awhile,not that it mattered,but that kind of talk is much less vulgar then"jesus christ and god damn,it 's you who needs to wake up! Like Luke saying;' double damn had it" in the show"repo men",was mild mannered compared to the movie,and besides,not long after,them words were no longer acceptable and changed to "dang!" Don't try to pass off this movie as a good way to keep the Dukes alive,what good is it if younger ones can't go see it due to vulgar language???You wake up!!! Although there was a few scenes of the dukes lusting,it was never showed heavily like the new hungry male slut luke! As for Daisy,most of the time she was decently dressed,her being in them shorts didn't hurt anything. The only time she has ever been in a bikini was when she was helping Bo and luke high jack a truck full of gambling machines!!!! So best keep watching them re-runs before you applaud the new movie. I have to say that thanks to the movie,it did bring back the series on tv and it did bring the dvd's that much faster. But any new duke fan are gona be highly dissappointed when they compare the new dukes to our beloved Dukes!!!!

Modern day robin hood,love that pic,now that would've been a better choice for the three causins! a Familiar driving face behind the wheel from "Fast and the furious",would have been awsome turn out of events! As I said in the other threads,the movie itself was very intertaining,and seing the General Lee roaring at night (at cooter's),was a delightfull scene for sure! Burt Reynolds,didn't make a good boss hogg,it's like he was trying to be southern,maybe they all need to watch the re-runs of the dukes as many times as we have to completely understand the feeling of being true dukes! The swearing really burnt my lilly,and Jessie telling jokes and being high at the end really burnt my ass! The driving sequals was all that really saved this movie,and although I found the dukes to be humourous,there was way too much changes from the original! This thing about the flag really bugs me,who cares what's on the roof,anybody who is anybody,knows that this is part of the General Lee's heritage,leave it alone! The only caracter that even came close to the original dukes of hazzard,was cooter! So why in heck couln't they have done the same with the rest of the cast! Bo and luke not shaven,come on,please!!!!Thin boss hogg and no giggling sherif,puke my guts out! Look at the movie;"Beverely hillbillies",the cast was as close as they could be to the origonal and it was based the same as the t.v. series,and it was funny as ole heck!Did y'all see it???? They could've have used the same idea with the same cast and with the same plot for "The Dukes Of Hazzard" as they done for "The beverely hillbillies" That's all i have to say about that!!

Well,I gotta tell ya,I enjoyed the movie,and if it were under any other name then the dukes,it would have been an awsome movie! I liked seing the General lee in action again,especially at night,a very rare scene,actually never seen the General run at night on the original series! Many things I did not like or approve of,Like Bo and Luke not clean shaven,and Daisy being so dang tuff and sexual! I also didn't care for all the vulgar language and abuses Bo and Luke gave each other! When did you ever see the boys wack each other with a phone book??Or pull tricks to each other,or be endangered by hawling luke on a safe tied to cooters tow truck!??? I also didn't like uncle jessie telling all these ying yang jokes,especially when trying to help Bo elude the cops in a race,jessie never wold have said jokes about playboys and divorces,common!!!! Rosco was way too serious for my liking,and boss was too mean and too serious,no funny humor between them two whatsoever! How hard could it be for warners to do like the movie «Beverely Hillbillies»,That movie was funny as hell,and the caracters were as close as they could possibly have them be! There was no swearing and cussing in there wich I truely hated in the duke movies! The only caracter anywheres nears anyone on the dukes was cooter! At least there it felt like I was in hazzard again for a short moment! Since when did Bo ever faint over some chick,Bo was never shy around women,always went for what he saw!! To me,the only thing that saved that movie was the General Lee,there was some amazing serious driving going on! When Bo found out the truth about luke making it with his girl,he went poof,and the driving sequal that followed was awsome!Seing the general going round and round was just so fabulous! The amazing skills of the moves they made with the General in the race was awsome also! It may be a bit tacky of me to point out some aspects of the changes they made to the General,but this is just observations on my part. First off,two mirrors,new steering wheel,chrome and new high fi sterio! They should have kept it original!No white letters please!! Anyways,as much as I enjoyed the movie,as being open minded,I didn't like it all,'bout 40 % of this movie was good for me! If they would have left the swearing, and been more like the orinal cast with the same settings they had for this movie,then yeah,I would have gave it thumbs up! They really didn't have to have people cutting the dukes up because of a confederate flag on the roof,that part of the show was really lame!

Not too mention that Daisy never had to be near naked to seduce Enos,common,just the near site of Daisy was enough for poor old Enos! Even though it was very thrilling to see the General Lee back in action,this movie is gona flop flatter then panckakes that was broken all up while trying to flip it over the other side! It's one thing to bring back hazzard county,but to make the duke familly total rebels and known as hard criminals is just not acceptable! They got jessica simpson acting like pamela anderson in barbwire,instead of acting the part of Daisy duke! If there was such a thing as -10 on the scales of 1-10,take away the 1 and you get my -10 vote,you watch and see,this movie is gona have very bad ratings! People who never seen the original Dukes of hazzard are gona see the dukes as offensive criminals and when they decide to buy the dvd's of the original duke,they're gona be highly dissappointed of the total difference between the original and the new movie!

Even though it was awsome to see the general lee back in action,I am not impressed with the way the movie is pointing towards the dukes being total criminals and arse holes! the dukes faught corrupt cops and justice system,this movie looks like the dukes just beg and look to get jailed and tagged as real ignorant criminals! they could have made this movie more interesting by staying with the original story line with a little kick! Daisy duke is passed as a sassy b**** like pamela anderson was in barbwire,hate to tell ya,but jessica ain't no pamela,and Daisy was never in anyways nears violent! the trailer I saw promotes violence,and the only thing that might,and i say might save this movie,is the General Lee in action,heck they don't even sound southerners,no wheres nears that at all!

First episode I remember was "Repo men" The Duke boys chasing cooter in a stolen patrol car! Second I remember was " My son Bo hogg" When Bo went missing,then Rosco gets some of Bo's personal things and ends up being chased by luke and Daisy!! Dang,forgot what the other two were,I'll be back later,just so tired from this grave yard shift!!!

Yeah thanks for reminding me of his name,Jamie it was,the young boy she tried to keep away from jamie's mean grandpa,who ends up realising his error at the end!!

That's because the general lee was impounded by rosco in part one,I was telling you about part two!!! In part one,luke let the general be impounded,to save Bo's hide,wich is why I never mentioned it for part two!

Off the top of my head,I can remember 4 episodes where the general lee was chasing a patrol car! So can you remember them,and were there more then 4 episodes ??? And one more thing,how the heck do you get pics on here,what in the world am I suppose to type to get picks????? Why can't we just browse and click and bingo there it is??????? I'll give you my 4 answers when I come back,and see how you all do???!!!
