"Well yeah but not about everything. Not everything needs to a battle. Some fighting is good but when it ends like it today. Where you got hurt then no. I rather if it's getting to that point then we should go to our own corners and cool off." Luke told her.
He was just about a sleep when heard the door open. Slowly he open his eye hoping it wasn't another nurse coming to give him a sleep pill. Luke never understood why they did that when you already a sleep. He was surprised to see Lori standing there. "Hey" he called out quietly.
"I don't want you hit either. It's childish. If you ask me. Your a grown woman acting like a 10 year old. I thought you knew better then that." Jesse told her.
"So your telling me that Luke made you punch the wall? Lori there was other ways to get your point across. Your choice to hit that wall. Luke may have made you upset, but it WAS still your choice." he told her.
It was a drive to the garage one that gave Jesse time to think. It was time like this that Jesse loved. When there was nothing that was needing his attention. It wasn't long before Jesse was at the garage. "Hey Lori! How's your hand?" asked Jesse as walked up to where she was at.
"Uncle Jesse could you do me a favor?" asked Luke "Sure, what do you need me to do?" replied Jesse. "Could you check on Lori for me. We sort of gotten fight and she punched the wall." "Oh.." said Jesse as he shook his head. "Just make sure she ok. Please." asked Luke. "Yeah I'll go over later and see how she's doing." Jesse told him.
And I did well sort of. A friend of mine is friends with John's mom. Over the weekend she was at John's mom's house when she got my email. This is from John's mom. His hair when he was little it was blonde, but as he got older it's became what we call a dirty blonde. I'm sorry BoJames. But Your wrong.
Luke reached over to the phone and dial the farm. "Duke residence. JJ speaking." said a voice from the other end. "Hi JJ. Is Uncle Jesse home?" he asked. "Yeah let me get him." she told him. In the back round Luke could hear her talking to Uncle Jesse.
Luke wheeled his self back to room. Took a look at the bed knowing there was no way he be able to get himself in the bed. He would need to ask for help. Rolling back out to the nurse station "Miss" he called to the nurse. "Can I help you?" she asked. "I need help getting in my bed." he told her. "O.k. let me find an orderly." the nurse told him. Luke looked at her for a second before rolling back to his room.
"Your welcome miss. Here's prescription for you to fill." he said as wrote it out before handing it to her. "Oh and miss no more hitting walls." the doctor told as he walked out.
A very small part wanted to call her back and say he was sorry and to make sure she was ok. But his stuborn male pride would not let him. He watched her walk around the corner, before he started heading back towards his room.
"Don't you get it. You expect me to act like the same old Luke. I don't remember the seven years and what I do remember are bit's and pieces. So excuse me if I'm not the same Luke I was yesterday." said Luke as he reached his boiling point.
