JJ waited in front of the school for Jesse to pick her up. It was long day and she just wanted to go home. "JJ please talk to me?" asked Matt as he came up beside her. "Why? You knew that I was suppose to be home at midnight."said JJ as Jesse finally pulled up to the school. "Come on JJ" said Matt. "Hi Uncle Jesse." said JJ as she got into his truck and shut the door. "JJ" said Matt one more time. "Can we go Uncle Jesse? I'll talk to you later Matt." said JJ. "Fine whatever JJ." said Matt as he turned and left.
"Bo, I want you to quit the childish games you and Lori are playing. One more time and the keys to the General are mine." Jesse told him before he turned around went into the house.
Daisy also came running to the door. Stopped dead in her tracks and started laughing. Lori was a site to see. Jesse tried to keep from laugh too, but it was hard not to laugh. m "All right you two. I said I wanted this tractor fixed by lunch time." Jesse reminded them.
Jesse walked into the old farm house. Walking over to coffee pot and pour himself a cup coffee. Let it cool for few seconds before taking a sip. Just as he set it down he heard "Dang it Lori." Jesse got up and went to the door to see what was happen.
Jesse looked at tractor then at Bo the then at Lori. He wasn't sure what he was going to do with both of them. "Beauregard Jackson Duke! What where you think? I want this tractor fixed. And If it's not before lunch you can forget about going to see Luke or the Boar's Nest later. And you Loren Crystal Davenport are going to help and if you don't. You won't be seeing Luke tonight either." said Jesse in a tone that let them both know there would be no room for argument.
Jesse wasn't sure what to think. He didn't know if he should laugh or... "What's going? Who did it?" asked Jesse as he got of the truck and went to where Bo and Lori was standing.
Jesse pulled up to the school "I'll be here to pick up after school." said Jesse as he stopped in front of the door. "Yes sir." said JJ as she got out of the truck. "Bye Uncle Jesse." she said as she shut the door. Jesse watched as she went into the school before heading back towards the farm.
JJ watched as her uncle got in the truck. "Uncle Jesse, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to worry you last night." whispered JJ. Jesse looked over at her "I know JJ." he said as pulled up out of the yard on to the road.
JJ stopped looked at Jesse then Lori thought for a second and said "I guess you Uncle Jesse. I'll go wait in the truck for you." then walked out the door and towards the truck.
JJ laughed as Bo fell out bed. He shot her a look before she left his room. She went over to the table and grab her books as she walked into the kitchen. "Uncle Jesse are you going to drive to school or is Bo?" asked JJ.
"Ok. Uncle Jesse." said JJ as walked over to were Lori was. "Hey sleepy head! It's time to get up." said JJ as shook Lori's arm. JJ waited until she saw Lori's eyes open before she left to wake up Bo. Knocking on Bo's door as she openned his door. "Hey Bo! It's time to get up. Lazy Bone's." said JJ as she stole his blanket.
JJ got up early to do her choirs. She took her time doing them. She wanted to put off her talk with her uncle for as long as she could. Jesse watched as JJ did her choirs. It was long before he saw she was done and coming towards the house. You would have thought she lost her best friend the way she walked in the house. JJ walked over towards the sink to wash her hands and waited for her uncle to say what he had to say.
"Yes sir." said JJ as she ran to her room. "Teenagers" mutter Jesse under his breath. "Lori, I think you need to stay. There's a couch with your name on it." said Jesse as he walked to hall closet getting a blanket and pillow out.
