TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Exact color orange of the General Lee
The color is 1975 Corvette "Flame Red" or also known as "Orange Flame" Trust me on this cause I have a replica and I've talked to some of the guys that actually built them for TV. Here is the code,DuPont 1975 Flame Red 43462K code 70 or PPG Deltron Acrylic Urethane(DAV2764) C-70-WA-4667 They used this definetly during the last 3 seasons on Dukes and on the Georgia episodes cars.

TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in The Cowsills
Little piece of trivia. The TV show "The Partridge Family" was loosely based on the Cowsills

TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in The FLAG IS STAYING!!!!
Well We won!!! Warner Brothers is now saying the Confederate flag is going to STAY on the General Lee and saying the original story was"inaccurate" about banning the flag from future model kits or Die cast. Sounds to me they are just covering their arse from a potential big boycott and loss of possible revenue judging from the outcry on the net IMO.

TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Who owns a General Lee besides me???
I was just going by his original post. It implies a FULL size car. Yes it is possible for a minor to own a car I looked it up it differs from state to state. However his parents had to co-sign for it regardless of what state it won't be fully his until 18. Made "friends" with the local sheriff implies he drove it and got busted. I noticed the quote marks around friends which means to me a negative impression. I don't know I still don't believe it and if anybody here does I got some real cheap Tennessee beachfront property to sell you.

TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Duke fans Help! Need your support!
Some of you maybe aware but for those who aren't.There is a Dukes message board on CMT.com.Well there has been a person who goes by landsharkk posting on there saying Dukes shouldn't be on CMT and should be removed. He has gone to some of the other boards over there trying to get more people to support him. Well I figure 2 can play that game so I came here to ask you guys for support. Go and join(its free) and show your support if you want to keep Dukes on CMT as long as possible. This guy is very serious and very persistent.Warning if you decide to post over there be careful how you word things the board rules are very strict over there. Brian and Muffin I apologize for posting an ad for another Dukes board without permission but this I feel is important to all Dukes fans and thought you would agree, in fact you may want to post this where everyone is likely to see thats up to you.

TimDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in Thought Id clear the Air.....
In the fictional TV world yes it could. Reality though a big block 69 Charger would trash a stock 82 Trans Am. KITT only went that fast fictionally not reality.

TimDuke got a reaction from Jvogue24 in Exact color orange of the General Lee
Sorry Beauregard,Lee 1 was NOT Hemi Orange re-read my post.Don Shisler was in charge of the Georgia Lee's and he told me the color.I don't know where you got you're info but mine comes from the horses mouth. As I stated WB had a company build Generals for them for a period of time instead of WB doing it themselves and that company did apparently use Hemi or Hugger or a special mixture of the two whatever was handy. Then WB went back to building them and Flame Red was used till the end definetly the last 3 seasons so Flame Red was used probably used 75% of the time. If you are building a General and want correctness go with Flame Red.

Lizey calling people names shows how intelligent you are. People read my post. According to Don Shisler who was in charge of the Generals in Georgia personally told me at Dukesfest 01 the color is 75 Corvette "Flame Red" or also called "Orange Flame". Tom Sarmento who built Generals for the show also confirms this color was used during the last 3 seasons of Dukes. Now there was a short period of time when the Generals were built buy a company that WB hired and from what I've learned it is not clear exactly the color they used.I've heard HEMI and Hugger also what ever they had handy but again this occurred during maybe a season or 2. Mostly though it was the "Flame Red" used. Lizey by the way I have a General Lee also and it is "Flame Red". I think the guys who built them or in charge should know don't you?

TimDuke got a reaction from DaneyDuke in Sonny appearance in Canton,Ohio
Only 3 hours and 46 minutes to Maryland the state? I did a google map from Canton to Baltimore and it's 6 hours and 45 minutes. Where in Maryland are you? Not that it matters you can't go anyway. I know it's over 6 hours to Washington,D.C. easy.

TimDuke got a reaction from Jami Lee Hogg in dukesfest 2009?
The one near Pigeon Forge as mentioned will be the only thing close to a "Dukesfest" this year. I personally favor the idea of regional Dukesfest myself. You know by June gas will be back to 3$ a gallon or more don't be fooled by it being within reason now. You're actually getting gouged worse now. It's 1.80 here and a barrel of oil is down to 33$. That means we should only be paying about 1.40 or less actually. Regional events would make it easier for those on a tight budget so you won't put all your money in the gas tank. Even Pigeon Forge area is too far for me and it's about a 9 hr drive roughly. Your average General Lee probably only averages 15 mpg if your lucky.

TimDuke got a reaction from Julieduke in Does anyone think that there will be...
Roger, I'm glad you took my post in the context it was meant to be taken. I totally agree. If another reunion is to happen it would have to be a passing of the torch type thing . Did anyone see the "Happy Days" reunion they did a couple years ago? They just sat around in a Arnolds recreation set and they showed them various clips chosen by the fans then they reminisced about those particular clips sharing memories and funny behind the scenes stories. I think that's the type of reunion you'll get if there is to be another. I know the Brady Bunch and Andy Griffith have done similar reunion shows using that format as well.
