(I saw I'll get to it, but I have homework right now. . .couldn't do it this afternoon cause I had an eye appt) "What are we gonna do mama?" Brenna asked. -
Enos leaned over and gave her another kiss "I do Daisy and. . .I've been keeping a secret for awhile, but I have something to tell you." he looked serious.

Lulu smiled "Glad to do it Daisy."

Enos smiled "Daisy, you're the only girl that I think I would ask to marry."

Lulu smiled as she came in with a bowl of strawberry icecream for Brenna as well as herself, Daisy and Enos.

Enos nodded and hugged her "I know, but I'm still sorry."

Enos was taken aback by this comment "Daisy, I'm sorry about it. . .I didn't mean for you to get upset about it in any way."

Enos nodded "Yeah, but I mean . . .get by barely. . .you make enough for you and the boys and. . .then some." he smiled, letting Daisy know there was no spite in the way he meant it.

Lulu only nodded "Daisy's afraid I'll spoil the kids." Enos admitted.

Enos smiled "You make a LOT more money there in tips than I do working everyday for Deputy. (Know I know she don't work firday at the least)

Lulu noticed this "Something wrong Daisy?" she asked.

Enos nodded "Well, you gonna work at the Boar's Nest your whole life?" Enos asked as a joke more than anything.

Brenna played with some things that Lulu had for the kids if they ever happend to come over.

Soon they were at Lulu's house. (Well pretty good. . .seems like you have yourself a rival too)

Daisy nearly choked having not realized that she'd hurt him. She would admitt that she was still tense over their oldest son's condition. "Enos, I'm sorry. I just don't know what I feel anymore. . .sure. . .let's go and get some icecream from Lulu. I've wanted to talk to her for awhile."

"I'm sorry Daisy, I didn't mean to embarass you." Enos apologized

Daisy gave him a sly look "All right. . .I suppose so, but I don't want you giving them ideas that they're going to be freely spoiled."

Enos nodded, leaning close and kissing her.

Enos nodded "Wanna go and see if we can get ya some of Miss Lulu's homemade icecream?" Daisy gave Enos a look that said she did not approve of what he'd just asked.

Enos smiled as they did this and then took Brenna into his arms when they walked over "You more settled?" he asked his daughter.

(kay I'll read it. .. I'm leaving to go to a fair in a little bit tho) Brenna nodded "Can you help me say a prayer to her?"

Enos smiled "Well it could be like that now that I'm here." he said.

Brenna nodded, but asked still confused "Well if he loves us then why does he let us die like that?"

Enos wrapped an arm around her "What kind of memeories Daisy?"

Brenna looked at the stone marked with the year she herself was born "Why does He do things like that?" she asked.
